I am beyond any words to express how do I feel after I have just watch your video. It is so relevant to my condition with my hips that it feels like it was made for me. I have found this channel few days ago and saw how valuable it is. You explain everything so well. I heard about my hip extensors and abductors before and knew something was very wrong there that made it hard to walk better but I have never understood it. Now I finally do. Thank you so much!
Thanks for watching and for commenting! Also, welcome to the community! So glad you are here and glad to know these videos are helping you. Keep going!
Dr Tobias I have learned so much from you so many of my MS issues I thought were weakness that are actually spasticity. What a game changer! Gives me hope they can improve.
Always perfect 👍 and great video..I have been watching your videos since 2021 and have worked on exercises and I have built my muscles upto grade four and now I have jus foot drops ..hopefully I will get my foot movements soon
Thank you so much for this video, very informative. I wanted to know is these exercises safe for mild hip osteoporosis individuals such as myself? I’m 31 and found out recently of this diagnosis after a year of thinking it was a pinched nerve from several pain management Drs and orthopedic surgeons. Thank you in advance for your time/response.
Hello, great information. I have been struggling to find answers to what has been going on with my gait and feet. I have seen soo many people trying to find out what is going on and I even ended up having surgery on my right foot(tarsal coalition), and I am still having issues and have no answers. I am pretty sure now that I am overpronating causing flat feet. Not sure but thinking it could be related to something in my hips maybe(hip flexors, TFL, glutes, etc) I am in desperate need of help and some answers. Do you have any ideas of what I could do to figure this out. I have seen a PT and he said it was posterior chain defect. Thanks
When pushing off the ground to propel forward should you feel more pushing pressure come from the ball and big toe(last stance of gait) than from the heel(first stance of gait)?
3 years ago I had an abscess removed from the top of my spine witch left me paralyzed for a few months I now walk with a cane my walking is very stiff tight legs my toes tend to stiffen and tense up especially when I try walk faster what excersizes would benefit me to do
Thank you Tara! What is the foot strap that you are wearing in 6.44 (Resistance band hip extension lying down) i.e which of the product that you recommended above carries this?
Do you have any input on a patient whose been on corticosteroids 240mg daily 4 to 5 yrs. Pt had severe Cushing's appearance, spontaneous biceps tendon rupture, numerous compression Fx's of thoracic, lumbar and sacral spine, corticosteroids induced diabetes.Posture noted kyphotic, and flat back with posterior pelvic tilt. patient has Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy, Sudecs Atrophy, Hx of ischemia in left ankle, I don't have MRI to quote areas on bone infarct. Also ischemia in pelvis. Pt presents with chronic Rt hip pain, needs one cane or limps after ambulating 3\4 length of grocery store isle. Physical therapy plan addressing hip adductors, as PT's Rt foot abducted 25 degrees, observation his entire leg is abducted. PMH pt c\o Fx tib\fib at age 9, plaster long leg cast 2 mo, short leg 1 mo, in 1969. Question working on piriformis stretching using PNF c each muscle bind. Within hours of therapy pt c\o foot becomes abducted as before. Suggestions?
