I would like to share my personal experience, that it is not good to rush with speed. In the video, it is well laid out methodically. Very well, you have already said many times, when you become very good at it, move to the next more advanced level. If we don't respect this gradualness, we will surely spoil the already learned good movements by compensating. Have a nice week.

Thank you. I have been watching your videos for a couple of months now and they have helped so much. I was put on a statin last Feb after 2 stints and with my RA it made my muscles and body not work right. In August I quit taken the statin on my on call. By December I was bed ridden. January of this yr I decide I was done with not being able to be normal again. I have watched your videos and have exercised and worked hard trying to get back to my normal self. I didn't have a heart attack or a stroke but your videos have helped me to walk again. I still can't get up from a normal height chair or toilet but I'm getting better slowly but surely. Thank you!

This is so helpful...weak leg post laminectomy 20 years ago, limited big toe for 55 years...Finally found a podiatrist who suggested a Morton's extension which I was given in college but never since! That simple little carbon steel plate has made a huge difference!! So, now I have to strengthen my legs and deal with having had to favor one side. This video really is so comprehensive ....THANK YOU!!!

I was out for a walk and found myself following behind a tiny little Italian lady ahead of me. She was a similar age but was easily leaving me behind. I am 195m tall. She stopped at the shop so I introduced myself, Gina her name was and I pointed out my problem...we laughed at it!

I am not a particularly slow walker in general but I have lost my top speed. I used to do a 4mph pace with little trouble. Now it just feels awkward and weird to even attempt it. I think it will be well worth my while to correct whatever it is slowing me down.

17:46 by chance, most western songs are around 120bpm.

Thx again. For content, you seem to know exactly what I and many others on these comments are going through. I have been trying the last couple days to do this with increasing the length of my good leg which means I'm balancing on my weaker leg for a longer time. And this is good but after decades of doing it the other way as you pointed out this will take a little time with the hemiparesis on one side.

Me again, just mentioning that when I try to take longer steps because I'm well over six feet tall that the long legs would just get out of control and spasticity effects kicked in and they would make me trip with one leg getting in the way of the other leg or like you see the ankle forcing the foot downward and me falling forward but the shorter steps even with increasing Gate speed is a wonderful answer. I am working on this and I'll tell you that walking in water is a good place for me to practice this because it's safer
