I'm sorry, but the dude who quit his job to beg Logan Paul for a job does not get my sympathy. That was one of the dumbest things he could've done. It would've been way better had he secured a job before quitting.
Now the whole world can see that he's not the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree. It's going to be even harder to get a job.
I am pretty sure the kid got a high paying job from his parents, most likely, he'll do fine being a trust fund kid

I mean, it's just to beggy. He should've gone to him legally... that was the second thing he did wrong (because I would not accept someone sneaking in like that either) and maybe ask to work for him (he should've prepared a speech or something and good arguments) and maybe after he was accepted.... he then should've quit his job.
If a guy has a cat and is affectionate to him/her...that's a good dude right there.

I’m not a fan of Logan Paul, but he’s grown up a lot. His advice was spot on. I love when Logan said that he can’t be a mentor, he needs a mentor.
Amen to that ... I really think Jake (his brother) is a douche but Logan was calm and explained it exactly how he needed to .... refreshing to see.... and 22 and making 100k and quit.... NO SYMPATHY AT ALL.... ! Some people have real problems.....
If Logan Paul is the adult in the room... reevaluate everything about your life, literally everything.
The fact that Logan heard him out and asked what he has to offer makes me want to buy his merch.
Yeah, it seems like he's putting in effort to grow as a person. I was never a fan, and I don't follow his... Stuff, but it does seem like he's out here trying to right some of his wrongs. And that was good of him to hear the (somewhat delusional) guy out, and give good advice.

It's unfortunate that we only hear about people when they're doing awful things and then we're left with that impression of them forever unless we seek out updates on their personal growth ourselves. The media wants what the media wants, I suppose. I can't think of a way the hate-click culture can be remedied either, which sucks even more.
The Logan Paul guy , he doesn’t want success - he had that if he was making 100k a year. What he wants is fame and that RUclipsr life. Logan did him a favor .

@@daviddieudonne7829 Absolutely! A few years ago I had a few landscapers come to my house to get an estimate on having work done in my backyard. My dog, who loved everybody and always wanted attention from everyone, wouldn't go near one of them. That was a huge red flag for me. Needless to say, he did not get the job.

Not keen on logan paul but that was a really decent way to handle that situation. He gave him some good advice and hes clearly realising that he needs to change which I can appreciate if he puts in the work.

The cat one cracks me up as my husband totally does this as well. I'm like, "Well, nice to see you, too," as he heads straight past me to greet the cat. He's definitely a cat person! Even funnier: my last name is Panther, but I'm a dog person - and his initials spell ARF. It was meant to be. 😹

@@melissablackwood I actually called a company, I can't remember the name of it now but it shipped out of the US and they insisted that Alaska wasn't a state, when I told her that we were in fact a state and that we were the 49th in the union she tried to call me a liar... I don't think they teach geography or US history well anymore

Being told "sorry, we're not hiring" happens a lot of the time to those of us who do NOT make $100K/year, so yeah, if you're 22 and you don't know anything about how to plan for new opportunities, it seems to me that someone's been taking care of that for you for way too long, and it's a pity that this is how you learned what the world is like, but you did have to learn it sooner or later.

I’m a school teacher in the USA. Unfortunately, there are many students (adults, too) who don’t know Mexico and Canada are part of North America.
Also, most don’t realize that we write our dates differently than other places. We would write 6/13/2006.
But, please don’t generalize, we’re not all like that. 😁

The US military has always written dates as day/month/year. I guess you never served in the armed Forces. The military date today is 23-Apr-2022

I live in Alaska, I get the same reactions of how some people don't think we're a state, or think we're part of Canada. When I would fly as a kid I would get asked about Alaska and tell them we go penguin sledding, have pet polar bears, and ride moose to school. and they believed me. People need to be educated. lol

So, US schools are US focused. Even in world history classes, and most especially in the south, we only really learn about things that would villainize those countries. Most of the stuff that I learned about other countries, I learned as an adult. It's propaganda labeled as patriotism, and it's really very sad.
Not knowing the existence of other countries is most certainly a problem. But being US focused in US I think is normal.
I don’t know what kind of school you went to, but that is certainly not the case in just about any school in the US. If anything, most schools are insanely liberal…if you want to talk about propaganda 🤣

I taught school for 39 yrs. No matter how or how often you present information many people have a staggering ability to be oblivious to everything you say and to completely purge their memories of anything they did learn between school yrs.

If a guy I’m dating loves his cat I see that as a green flag. It means he’s a good person (usually). Don’t know why you’d get jealous of that.

The only four possibilities I can think of are she's overreacting, or he pays an unhealthy amount of attention to the cat, or he ignores his wife a lot and the cat is the scapegoat, or they're fighting and that was her comeback.

@@dhf161 It's an interesting situation. But I still can't make any outright assumptions because we don't know anything beyond the fact that she made a post about it. She does come across as very immature, but again, maybe he ignores her all the time and she's fed up now. But, if that's the case, she could take it as a red flag and break up with him.
I think you're probably right though and she's got some issues she needs to deal with in herself, judging by how she wrote what she wrote.
I always consider all possibilities and wait to understand the entire situation because people are complex and so is life - but that being said, the likelihood that she's overreacting is much higher than the odds that she's not.

My little brother once brought a stray kitten home with the intention to keep it as a pet, within two days his girlfriend got jealous that he would give his new kitten more attention then he gave her. So, she convinced him to hang out at her place more, leaving the kitten in my care. It’s my cat now.

I’m jealous of my cats!!! They sleep for 16 hours a day, get fed, loved, and I (and my wife) pick up their poop!!! Who wouldn’t want every taken care of and get to lounge around all day!!

Please don't blame that girl's teachers; I was a teacher and worked my butt off but students would skip class because they expected to be "entertained" and sometimes learning something isn't always a Beyonce concert..

Oh not the teachers fault all unless they pass her through. A lot of us learned what she did not know in Elementary school.
I (personally) can't imagine blaming the teachers. In '04 I remember the numerous ways people cheated in world history instead if learning anything, can't imagine how hard it would be to mitigate that now.

Well, as far I understand the video the girl doesn’t understand what the guy is asking. She doesn’t seem understand the concept of country at all. He isn’t exactly patient and since she is a minor obviously he shouldn’t have outed her that way. He may be better in geography and whatever basic education but he is also a jerk.

I live in New Mexico and there have been times where people thought NM was part of Mexico. My family was staying at a hotel somewhere in Texas one time and the woman that worked there was like "What is it like living in a different country?" to my dad and he was like "New Mexico is one of the 50 states.” This happens to so many people from New Mexico. We even had a conversation about it with a museum curator who said that she was trying to get a job in another state and they were all like “I don’t know if we can except your application because you don’t live in the United States.
For those who don't know: Every state in the United States is run as if it were its own country. So the level of education required is entirely different in every state. And even within cities/districts. What I'm trying to say is there are people in this country that actually know about other places in the world and are at least educated about geography. But usually they are not the people we see on the internet. Because stupid gets clicks :)

As an American, I can confirm we are TERRIBLE with world geography, as a whole. It wasn’t emphasized much in school. I hate our massive ignorance and reputation.
Our school system does suck but it is not an excuse for ignorance. I failed physics because my teacher was a jerk - I have since studied physics, theoretical physics, cosmology, and astronomy (I had my own 10" Dobsonian telescope for a while so that really drove me). Education does not end in school. Please don't take this as me be a jerk and I'm not targeting you with this comment - I'm just saying that people need to put in an effort on their own to expand their own horizons instead of blaming someone else for their lack of knowledge.
I'm hoping she was just feeling put on the spot and nervous. Your brain will go blank when that happens. It's happened to me where I knew the answer but the way someone was coming at me with their questions I was confused, bombarded, couldn't think straight in that moment.
Do we seriously live in a world where making 100k is not enough?? Especially at 22, like what the hell did this guy do for work that he was making that much, in what I am assuming is his 1st year out of college.

I've never heard of Logan in my life but I actually appreciate his honesty, it's very brave when you're well known to be aware of the cameras around you and choose to help someone by redirecting him to a game plan that would be better for him rather than to appear fake nice and dump that person the second the lights go off. He may not be "nice" but he's very clearly intelligent and has a good heart. I hope the guy who took this video would stop crying and actually listen to what Logan had to say to him because he knows what he's doing. Respect Logan, I like you.
That’s why you let your man understand your expectations when you first start dating. We realized within the first couple years of us being together that he played too much video games and I spent too much time smoking the devils lettuce so then we compromised and figured out times that were best for us to do those things that didn’t get in the way of household work or relationship intimacy. If the game gets in the way of intimacy, you guys have a problem.
To be honest, I'm jealous of some cats. Those cats that belong to the rich old ladies who pamper them, and they spend all their lives eating the good stuff, living the good life, and sleeping. Yeah, can I trade for that life 😂

I have two ex wives who treated me the same way, but i learnt my life lesson. Never disagree do what you are told. If you roll over and play dead you might get your tummy rubbed. Me I was never one to roll over and play dead which is why I love cats and have two ex wives.

The cat thing- this is almost exactly how my husband and I ended up with our two cats. My brother in law had two cats before meeting his SO and she didn’t like cats so kept trying to get him to get rid of them. Eventually he agreed and asked if we would take them. Meanwhile she got to keep her dog who pees all over house and jumps everything. I can’t imagine giving up your pets for someone you just met (at this point they had been together a year but this convo started earlier). It worked out for us though cause they are the best cats ever and bring us so much joy. My husband told him if they break up he’s never getting the cats back 😂😂

I'm Brazilian and have been an exchange student in the US. I found out most americans are not great in geography. In the school I was in, they didn't have geography as a subject, but I had geology class. In the first 6 months no one knew I was an exchange student, after they found out, one day I said how similar a word was to Portuguese, and this girl turns to me like "Portuguese? I thought you said you were from Brazil", and I shit you not they had no clue we speak Portuguese in Brazil.
Once this substitute teacher came up to me and said "Hola", in a Spanish accent hahahahaha.

Most Americans cannot locate Spain France Germany Great Britain Scotland or any European countries on a map. When I was in college there was a game that required you to point to France on a map and no one but me in a group of six knew where France was on the map. we all graduated from the same high school. Two of the players went through French class with me learning to speak French but yet could not find France on a map. One of them thought France was attached to Greenland.
Truly outside of stereotypes and throwing the names of some of these countries around Americans never really learned the location or history of these other countries.

I was grabbing canned beans at the store the other day and I asked my husband to see if the beans were grown in the USA because it said “grown in North America” on the front label. He dead ass looked at me and said, it says North America and that means USA. I asked what other countries were part of NA and he said, IT’S JUST THE USA.
We had a little meeting in the bean isle. 😂 He seriously thought the USA was its own continent/country.

heh... The cursive is really inconsistent around the U.S. Some schools say no, others are bringing it back, and some are saying its elective. The system continues to eat its own tail.
Is there still a big fight for teaching creationism in schools over there also?
It's just that I've seen a few US news reports on it and that baffles me.
Between the weird changes happening in what’s being taught, kids not paying attention because it “doesn’t apply” to them because they’re banking on become RUclips or Tik Tok famous, and lots of other dumb things that I don’t want to get into, the American school system is not doing well. I can’t believe the changes that have been made since I graduated high school 10 years ago!
There is no consistency between states either. And we aren't taught important life skills like addressing envelopes of all things. My brother made it to 15 before he learned how which was over 10 years ago if that tells you how horrible our education system is. Not to mention we are taught straight up lies about our own history.
Idk, we are in the US, and my kids are in 1st and 3rd and learning cursive. I also think its inconsistent in different areas. They also aren't doing common core anymore, they switched back to traditional here.
I wish people would learn that "ethnic" by itself doesn't really mean anything, we are all ethnic because we all come from somewhere, and "ethnic" basically means "comes from..." so an Ethnic Canadian comes from Canada, and ethnic German comes from Germany.
Saying "you look ethnic" does not make sense.
"This cake looks food" is the gastronomical equivalent
These people think "ethnic" means "not white". Just like they think only "foreigners" have accents. You know... because thier white American accident is the...default(?)
Well, is pretty much how Americans and Canadians think Latinos/as are exotic, when in really, we are the majority in the continent. 20+ countries, around 700M people 😂😂

Super Senior - someone who has already graduated high school, but comes back for additional courses or to improve their grades to get into university (or just to kill a year if they're not ready to do post secondary)
That's what we call early college students in my state. Basically we have opportunities for kids to attend 5 years of high school where they take college courses their senior and super senior year. So when they graduate, they leave with both an associates degree and a high school diploma.
All seniors who had to repeat senior year were called Super Seniors in my school. We had a kid who did senior year 3 times before he was legally locked out.
It can also be someone who is in college and has been working towards a bachelor's degree for over 4 years.
I was a super senior. I didn’t get my credits in time to graduate within the first 4 years of high school so I had to go for a 5th. It’s kinda embarrassing really. I just didn’t care about school like I should have. But hey... I did get my high school diploma so whatever.
Well this super senior sure couldn’t spell or use punctuation correctly.

1:03 I can see where this one was coming from since they said that the woman was in the US. While a lot of the world writes the date day/month/year, the US writes it month/day/year. She probably read it as a date at first, but then second guessed herself because she thought it said the thirteenth month. So, I understand the confusion, I guess. A lot of people in the US don't really know that other places write it differently.

I married a gamer. I knew that he’d play after we were married. Unless Wifey’s husband just doesn’t help with anything ever, she needs to lay off and get a hobby.
Some men that play are straight up trash. I used to be friends with a lady that was married to a gamer. He didn’t help out in anyway. He was physically abusive to his wife and little children. He would scream profanities at the TV all day. She could never go anywhere without the kiddos because he didn’t want to deal with them (not that she would have left them with him anyway.) It was nuts.
Some guys can handle the balance but some turn into monsters. You never truly know how bad the home life is until you see it in person.
Who knows what the couple in the video are going through.
I tutored a 10th grader... She honestly, I'm not exaggerating, not joking, honest to God did not know what 1 + 1 was.
We can thank the "Every Student Succeeds Act" for this.
Uh, why is she getting tutoring. At 10th grade not knowing that I would want to know because in 10 years of schooling that comes up a lot. I wouldn't blame schools for that piece of stupidity

That law forces them to pass students (happens more often in poor places) because if the school fails too many students then they'd be held accountable.
It's sad.
