Making a Killzone - Part One: The Basics (Kill Team, Necromunda, Warhammer 40k)

In part one of this video i show you how i take these realm of battle boards and turn them from mortal realms to grimdark killzone - this is the first part and includes all the steps i took to alter these boards ready for painting and extra details
as i said this is a terrible idea to replicate if you dont have some spare ones of these however it does provide some ready made detail etc
i would recommend if you want to make you own board using 6-10mm mdf with a timber frame and mount some insulation foam ontop of it (12mm minimum) this will have to be fixed with either pva or contracters adhesive and weighted down while its drying.

PVA - any will do
Spray bottle
Filler ready made/ Spackle
isopropyl alcohol - as an alternative you can use neat vodka (ive never tried it and can imagine it will smell abit)
Sandpaper 80 grit
Sanding block 120 grit
Sorry to leave this one on a cliff hanger however drying times were really stretching out the filming process and being a one man show with a day job i had to make a call to cut this into parts.
