Lil more then I wanted to spend but don't see them going down much any time soon. To be completely honest here, all early classic US coins have the potential to be squeezed. Barbers, Seated Liberty's, Capped Busts, Draped Busts, Early CC's, SLQ's, etc. Most people don't pay much attention to them (Unlike Morgan Dollars) and the fact of the matter is that there are only so many of these coins still in existence and if every started peaking interest in them (especially graded nice examples) then we have real potential to move prices around.

I am basically a stacker now, and mostly just Gold now, but I have always loved 🥰 the big constitutional silver dollars. The funny thing is, that most collectors (like you state) much prefer the Morgan Dollars due to their earlier minted dates, and longer run, BUT my favorite has always been the Peace Dollars. I like the Liberty design, and I like the lower prices, as well as the fact that having been minted later, their condition is usually much better, allowing you to appreciate the design. I definitely have more Peace Dollars than Morgans, but because I craved the big, clanky sound of the large dollar coins, I actually (over a short period of time, purchased a small-ish hoard of Eisenhower Dollars. It allowed me to fill up a small treasure chest, and also to be able to carry a handful around in my pocket in order to shuffle, and clank them around. Very satisfying sound, and feeling. I will continue to purchase some Peace & Morgans, but only occasionally, because my goal is to amass a nice stack (Gold & Silver)of future value for my boy, and allow him to convert it easily when the time comes. My favorite bank is Precious Metals.

Peace Dollars are vastly undervalued, especially considering their mintages. Many of them are less than CC Morgans, as far as quantity. I wouldn't be surprised to see a "run" in the next 4-5 years on many of the one millionish or less mintages, but it would be by a major player(s) in the industry. I don't think that we as collectors/investors are disciplined enough to stand together and run it, but we can piggyback on them when the time comes if we toss some back now. Great video

I stacked Peace dollars hard at $15.50 each in 2018-19. My LCS allowed me to cherry pick the XF-AU common dates on his tray. Occasionally I came across a worn better date (1934 ,1935 etc) and I bought those also. However I never bought a cull , because they’re less collectible and possibly less Silver…Today I’ll buy better date PCGS if they’re reasonably priced. I still believe common date circulated ones are a decent value at $24 or less with Silver spot at $24 because like ASE ‘s they’re high premium Silver.

peace dollars are the best example of their times, often referr3d to as a flapper...it's 20s style on show..the morgan is a Romanesk version of liberty, the peace dollar and mercury brought the times back into play which may have been why they were stopped in 1935...when you look at other dollars before it they could have been from any time but the peace dollar is real 20s america.

I just 2 weeks ago just sold off my peace dollar collection; 180 of them to be exact; no special dates or mint marks! I only paid face value for them anyhow a couple of months ago and turned those 90 percent into 100 percent silver! DON'T Think I messed up on that deal: got $25.00 each.at least I hope not; just thought 100 percent better than 90 percent especially since none of them were graded; mint marks; ect. Just common peace dollars. What do you think spec.did I screw up or no, just curious on your thoughts?
Now my Morgans are a different story; they go NO WHERE!! Lol BEAUTIFUL coins! Sorry this goes against your video narrative today Spec. LOL Just not a fan of the peace dollars other then the silver content or if I had a rare ones.Hope this video motivates some.

UNC Peace Dollars look really nice, and I was lucky enough to pick some up for $30 a piece a year ago, but local supply has pretty much died up. Morgans are much more common than Peace here, and buying off eBay is problematic. Prices are high and counterfeiters in China are now making really convincing copies. Sure, they won't be the right ping/weight, but it's too late once you pay.

@@mrsspegtacular6484 There are only two coin shops left in my city of 1.2 million people. One shop closed just before Christmas. It's a bit sad really. I have to wait for coins to appear at local estate auctions.

Peace were collector coins while Morgans were money. I still love the 2021 Peace because of it's high relief. I already bought up the Peace and have lots of 27's, 8 1928's. Because of pricing I'm buying Ike proofs now.

I'm an ex pat so never knew them but it screams Americana with the flapper style liberty like the mercury dime...I said I'd get a nice collection made to my lcs in 65, he warned me agains5 it but I saw the 23 going for $100 so thought it a nice self challenge, now I'm 8 grand in the hole but have a collections worth $16000....sold eagles to get the 21, 27 and 28, took almost 3 years but if put in competition if they were all pcgs or ngc I'd be in the top 30 for date set peace dollars...and in the real scheme of things spending less then $3000 a year on a collections is doable and the population for the coins is so small a thousand of us doing it would drive the markets up big time when the population of some peace dollars in 65 even the cheap ones is Iin the hundreds.
