I purchased 1/10 ounce gold eagle. Every month. I have already bought 8 . Two to go. I purchased a 1/4 ounce gold eagle every other month. I have one more month to go. If l have a large wind fall profit on my part time job I will pick up a 1/2 gold eagle. Works for me. Right now 90 percent is really cheap at my LCS . Buying the dip. Keep stacking ! Take care.
I have a holy grail 1oz gold coin. It is a Cougar from RCM from 2016 and boasts 5, 99999 gold purity and also is a 200 dollar face value unlike the standard gold maple 🍁 that has a 50 dollar face value. I purchased it last month when I traded 100 oz of silver for gold.
Just my 02: when spot gold rises quickly (as it has in the past few months) the premiums between different types of gold coins tend to compress so for me it makes little sense to buy anything but 1oz American Eagles as the price difference with other coins is minimal. When the spot price stabilizes the premiums tend to expand again and put Eagles in the lead as far as resale value goes.
I've only been able to get gold 3 times this year. 2 quarter ounce and a tenth ounce. I have bought alot of silver. Over 5 kilos some in eagles most in Buffalo's some in 10 ounce bars. I am going to buy another quarter ounce of gold in July. Great video keep it up.
I wish I could participate in the gold challenge. Unfortunately, as a retiree, I'm on a fixed income. For the last couple of months, even silver has been out of reach. I'm enjoying the benefits of Bidenomics. Every month, I buy about the same items for groceries. Problem is that I'm spending more month on month to get the same items. (Inflation) Fortunately for me I have zero debt. If I still had house and car payments, I'd be underwater and couldn't even afford luxuries like food. I'm thankful I'm able to make ends meet. I haven't had to sell anything from my stack, and I try to put a little bit back each month to add to the silver stack as I can. My plans haven't changed, I have a good hedge against inflation, and more importantly, I want to leave a good chunk of physical assets for the family when I'm gone.
Amen to you! I know the "being retired" concept... have been since 2008 (disability) but I'm still able to put a little away each month. Keep going as best you can! Congrats on doing that!!
@davidf3883 Thank you for your comment. I don't know how young people are supposed to get a home and car these days. The prices for everything are just going into outer space. Debt free really puts you in a place of power over your life. I'm stressing that to the youngsters. Granted, you're going to have debt to get a house, but avoid putting anything on a credit card that you can't pay off each month. That's a trap, and once you're stuck paying 25% or more interest, it's hard to get out of debt.
I try and focus on gold but silver is so achievable, so I buy a bit of silver and then no budget left for gold! When I do focus I’m lucky to have a bullion dealer that lets you buy gold by the gram and ‘bank’ it until you have enough for a round / coin of a decent size. Your 2024 gold collection is a great effort.
Got my 1st gold Maple Leaf this month,, I'm so proud of myself! Unfortunately, the kids are hungry, my dog has no friends, bank towed my old Jeep away today... AND my wife just left me. But I GOT GOLD! 💋 Thanks for your great suggestion! 😁
You’ll find that: You can now buy new kids. Buy a chihuahua because they don’t like friends. The bank got you out of that bad interest rate on your jeep and now you can pay cash for a used POS. There’s plenty of fish in the sea!
Trying to get 100oz of silver and then trade the silver for gold, so I keep 25oz and then another 100 on top of the 25oz (125oz) and do the trade again and so on.
Nah, you will get killed on the premiums and may sell back of spot. Maybe silver has more upside. Keep stacking until you retire. Unless you need to buy a house or something.
I really like your idea of buying a little gold each month. My problem is that my ADD kicks in at every coin show or online box store, and I buy those shiny, marvelous things on display ( they are not gold) LOL. Just joking. Nice show on your channel.
Wow!, to save over $20,000 in six months, I am happy for you and I am sure it is well deserved. But on the other hand it is crazy in this country that the majority of it cannot afford a $400 emergency. I am also fortunate I was able to stay healthy and make good financial choices with the money I made to be comfortable in my later years. I truly hope things will get better in the future for more Americans and people around the world.
All that gold has me mesmerized. It's beautiful. I appreciate you encouraging gold purchases!

Dont trust any gold you cant hold without a case. even a sigma can be spotty. unless you have xrf testing, always measure/weigh bare and then sigma

Try your best! Go for gold for a short term commitment and see if you’re happy.
I have to be honest, I haven’t bought any gold yet in 2024. Time to step up my gold game
Me neither. It doesn't make sense to me with the GSR where it's at.

Hey Speg- do you like the half oz. Size gold eagle? Why or why not?
Do you believe they will be harder to liquidate when it comes time to sell?
