This is very interesting! I have been stacking silver/gold for 15 years. I stopped for a while, but I looked at a 1/10oz gold eagle I bought 10 years ago for $135 and was shocked they are going for 2x what I paid. I wish I bought a few more! I think I’m gonna start doing American eagles and Canadian maples. They are really cool!
Enjoy your videos and have subscribed, Being new to stacking, purchased my first rounds and bars about a month ago. My LCS currently charges $2 over spot for generic rounds and bars his premiums for eagles etc much higher so for now just focusing on generic silver. also worth noting in Massachusetts they hit you with a sales tax unless you spend $1000, or more. So, my strategy moving forward will be to wait untill I have a grand put aside before my next purchase, that works out to roughly 2 extra ounces at current spot. I believe it was your video silver on a 200 budget that got me to take the first step Thankyou and looking forward to future videos
Awesome. I'm glad you enjoyed that video. I just wanted to show that really any amount of cash can be converted into precious metals. Don't need to break the bank. Bummer about the sales tax. In CA it's $1,500 or less is taxed. It sucks. Thank-you for Watching.
Just Finished a Roll of Cull Silver Dollars..was getting them from 18 to 23 Dollars per coin over the past few months at the LCS V.G. to Fine condition! Premiums still a little too High on some of the New stuff, But just bite the Bullet and ordered a Greyhound to Finish off the series of Queens Beasts! Happy stacking Kat!😼
I think the QB's are about to skyrocket in value now that they're completing the series. Just picked up the 2oz. Griffin the other day. Get 'em while they're hot. Thanks for stopping by.
I agree with your selection of silver government bullion. Add the Mexica Libertab and you have my 5 favorite silver bullion coins to stack. Thank you for the share.
I love stacking all four of these, but I primarily focus on Morgans and ASEs. Morgans have always been my favorite coins, so I just like to have a bunch.
Excellent discussion - I am about buying about 50/50 on coins/rounds (Buffs/Maples) mostly but I did just grab $10 in face of dimes. I don’t have many Morgan’s or Peace Dollars yet. Will get more into them in the future
Really couldn't go wrong with any of this silver. Think that the 90% Silver Dollars are the better value right now. In the past I would say it was the Eagles. Let's hope it gets back to that soon. Thanks for stopping by.
I’ve bought modern US commemorative dollars. At under $30.00 each, they are in the same price range of Morgan and Peace dollars but are either proof or uncirculated. If you shop around there are many in the $25.00 price range.
No worries, I collect them all - lol, but very true about worn silver weight is less. I know they always said if stacking half dollars to go with 64 Kennedy because typically they will be much less worn then walkers and benjis
Still buying just not as much. I live in Canada and the premiums on constitutional silver are through the roof. 28$ CDN for 1$ face of eighty percent pre 1966 silver coins. A dollar face pre 66 = .6 of an ounce. Not a lot of bang for the buck at this point in time. Saying that I continue to stack regardless of price and I sleep well at night knowing that my PMs are a true store of energy and wealth and a hedge on inflation. I also have a few one hundred year old fifty dollar bills worth face value only. Worth less than two CDN silver dollars. My advice is convert those hard earned worthless debtors notes to silver and gold when you can and over time you will come out ahead of the game. God bless and keep stacking.
Fellow canuckistan here, premiums are brutal if you just want weight TD has some great carribean bullion(I love the Antigua rum runner) that is a bit less than a silver buffalo. Take care.K
I like the 999 fine silver but love the Morgan design and history too. I only have one BU Morgan in a slab and the rest are not cull but somewhere between
SK No ASE'S for me since March mainly 10 ounce bars with a handful of collectable coins as far as silver goes. But much heavier on the gold side over all.
@@StackingKat it wouldn't be so bad even with higher spot prices it's the premiums. If the premiums were more reasonable one could keep buying ASE'S and just dollar cost average.
@ stacking Kat I know I said I would never buy through ebay . I have been using coin shops that use ebay . Also ISPMEX has been used by another trusted channel. No different than some people using coin stores in asia . I will let you know how it works out release of the coin is 9/30/2020 they said 2 weeks after that
I’ve been going with generic buffalo rounds 999 $1 over spot. Sometime maples for $3 over. That’s about it. Maybe some poured silver from bison bullion.
Stacking Kat ya they have bars and rounds. I got a 3 oz round it’s the same diameter and fits right in a tube. Pretty good. And the prices aren’t to bad.
I really like the JUNK!!!!

Always interesting to hear others discuss their preferences and why. We learn stuff when we listen.
Thank you for the video and information. Always very informative. 🎶
Thanks Scorp.
Love your videos and love your channel sticker hello from Canada EH!!

Love the Libertads. Thank-you for Watching.

Thanks for the informative video. I have some of each.

Luckily, my coin shop has great deals on them. I've found that to be one of the keys to buying. Thanks for stopping by.
Just spending the budget on good delivery bullion.

They look great! I haven’t bought any cull but silver is silver
Stack the shit out of culls if they're cheap enough
I’ve bought modern US commemorative dollars. At under $30.00 each, they are in the same price range of Morgan and Peace dollars but are either proof or uncirculated. If you shop around there are many in the $25.00 price range.
When possible, I prefer whatever is cheap and available.
No worries, I collect them all - lol, but very true about worn silver weight is less. I know they always said if stacking half dollars to go with 64 Kennedy because typically they will be much less worn then walkers and benjis
That's definitely the case. Just stacking the two next to each other you can see the depletion. Thank-you for Watching.

That's great advice on turning the paper into PM's. Thank-you for Watching.

I seem to collect both. It depends on what is available at the time I guess, old mercs and Kennedy's to the shiny new stuff, it is all good.
I like the 999 fine silver but love the Morgan design and history too. I only have one BU Morgan in a slab and the rest are not cull but somewhere between
Very informative, so far 2020 ASE and 2020 maple have been my choice more bidding on the fact of 2020 date year and for the long run.
I like that plan. It'll be interesting to see how the 2020's do in the future. Thank-you for Watching.
great info.
I am buying walking liberty half dollars and franklins by the roll. I go to the coin shop and pick the best out of the can.
That's the best way to do it. Thank-you for Watching.
Going with eagles and rounds. I don't have any good LCS I can count on. It's all about the weight for me. 💰
Been stacking 1/2 dollars ($1.25 to $1.50 over spot) at one of my LCSs.
You wont recover the high premiums on the eagles and maples Im sticking to 90 percent dimes and quarters and generic 1 ounce silver rounds.
SK
No ASE'S for me since March mainly 10 ounce bars with a handful of collectable coins as far as silver goes.

I miss buying the Eagle's. Thank-you for stopping by.

Very good video. I know you cannot cover everything in one video, but what about non-dollar junk? It should be even cheaper.
Here is a video I did on all 90%, which focused more on the smaller stuff: ruclips.net/video/VbcHrzp_zWI/видео.html
Thank-you for Watching.
Miss your posts, S.K.!
Nice video.
I have been stacking larger coins 10 oz queens beast 5 oz randon sov. mints 2 0z Canadian coins . Also I pre ordered a bunch of libertads :)
Through Ebay for the Libertads?
@ stacking Kat I know I said I would never buy through ebay . I have been using coin shops that use ebay . Also ISPMEX has been used by another trusted channel. I just can’t bring myself to buy from foreign mints. Really would rather stack American.
90% everytime
The only time I have picked up 999 is when 90% is not avalible and then its cheap generics
Silver dollars before we passed $18 an ounce. Now its ase and fractional constitutional only. Got a great dealer
It's all about what kind of dealer you have. Could be make or break. Thank-you for Watching.
1st!
Yes you are I'm number 2
I didn't even start watching an my answer is 90% when prices are high.
Morgan Peace an any 90% half bit i prefer walkers
I like the Maples but it’s taking me sometime to save up for them
Got all of them. Trying to get to my 100 silver dollars then get back to the sovereign Eagles and Maples
I like that process. Thank-you for Watching.
Libertads 😎
I need them in my life.
Yep!
I’ve been going with generic buffalo rounds 999 $1 over spot. Sometime maples for $3 over. That’s about it. Maybe some poured silver from bison bullion.
I'll checkout Bison Bullion. Thank-you for Watching.
Stacking Kat ya they have bars and rounds. I got a 3 oz round it’s the same diameter and fits right in a tube. Pretty good. And the prices aren’t to bad.
I buy them all for different reasons lol
Thanks for the video but no real answers provided, just dialogue and saying "stacking" alot. Happy new year
