@Michael Price - There are other songs with solos, even from the Oksen era but even then all their solos were more like a complement of the song (more of a melodic line, if you wish) than a traditional solo like you said. A bit like Gojira does. : ) Honestly, I don't mind it at all. One of the things that made me stop listening to Metal since 2000 was the constant "war" between guitarists to see who could play faster.

That is a good one, but I personally think that "Teacher Teacher" is a good second song for someone new to Jinjer as it shows how Tatiana can switch back and forth so effortlessly. After the foundation of "Pisces", and "Teacher Teacher" it leaves no doubt of the whole band's talent, and allows people to dive in deeper with no net. :-)

Great reaction - subbed! There is so much more. Perennial at Wacken is an epic performance of a beautiful song that shows off a wide range of what they can do on stage. Who Is Gonna Be The One official live is a banging protest song with the emphasis on her growling range, but also some other stuff that might be surprising that I won't spoil. Their newest concert video is Pit Of Consciousness live in Kiev which is about Tati's mental health struggles and has the most savage vocals of anything they've released.

The thing I have noticed about a lot of bands outside of the U.S. They do have lots of solos, but they aren't like bounce across the stage style. When it's there, it always fits, even if they're finger tapping like crazy. It's not muddy sounding. Everything is really clean. There's a Japanese group named Band Maid that has crazy awesome ladies playing, and they play solos back and forth but are always super tight with them. try their 'Play' :) or Nightwish Romanticide. There is some epic guitar riffing in that one as well as some other really cool stuff ;)
Ya know, I was never really in to Death Metal much until a few months ago when I heard this guy called Leo Moracchioli. He's from Finland and does metal covers of almost any song you can name from nearly every genre. So, I saw people reacting to this over the past few weeks and avoided it because, well, the name Jinjer just sounds like a cry-baby-emo band or something shitty like that. Well, can you imagine my surprise when I relented and actually listened to it? IT BLEW MY EFFIN MIND!!! I have seen around thirty reactions to this song coz I get a laugh from other people's reactions to Tatiana's voice, but mostly for the bass and the drums! Even at 163cm (approximately 5'4" for the Americans) she is quite intimidating!

Soon as you mentioned flyleaf in reference to Jinjer, I had to subscribe. Very few ppl catch this, but theres a 3rd style not just the screaming and soft singing. Towards the end when she goes higher up on her vocal range that's like a older 80s European style. It's hard to explain but if you listen to older European metal bands you'll hear what I'm talking about.

I know I don’t need to ask you for more Jinjer reactions but keep them coming. This was my first time watching one of your reactions and it will not be my last.
You'll get a lot of Jinjer recommendations. For me personally I first Pisces, next was Jinjer - I Speak Astronomy! It's truly a metal masterpiece! Those two songs together made Jinjer one of my favorite bands ever. I highly recommend I Speak Astronomy next.
P.S. when I say metal masterpiece, I'm a 26 year percussionist that plays guitar and bass too. The composition in I Speak Astronomy is amazing and the talent in each musician is beyond phenomenal. Tatiana showcases some great vocal range and diversity in it. Vlad is trying to kill the drumset by the end I think and Roman & Eugene have incredible chemistry!

I've watched a fair amount of reactions to this song but this is one of the best! Finally somebody who knows the genre a bit that can comment on it makes all the difference! Also, I'd recommend "The Anchor and the Sail" by The Agonist or "Here Come The Vultures" by Delain or other songs from the same bands, you'll love it!

So, you can pick just about any next Jinjer song to react to because among many of the amazing facts about Jinjer - they don't have a bad song!! But if I have to, do "Teacher, Teacher" official vid. They have MANY official and raw live videos that demonstrate this band's amazing talent. Soon as you mentioned flyleaf in reference to Jinjer, I had to subscribe. Very few ppl catch this, but theres a 3rd style not just the screaming and soft singing. Towards the end when she goes higher up on her vocal range that's like a older 80s European style. It's hard to explain but if you listen to older European metal bands you'll hear what I'm talking about.
Opeth and Devin Townsend are two other superb artists who use cleans and growls ... Check out Ghost Of Perdition (Opeth) and Kingdom - the EMGtv version (Devin)

I remember Fly leaf, I bet that's the band Avril Levine wished she had hahaha....you're gonna have to check out more Jinjer of course, there's more to them than Tatiana's impressive vocals though...other heavy bands with awesome women that can growl and sing clean are Courtney from Spiritbox, Lena from Infected Rain, Iris from Spoil Engine and Chelsea from Dawn of Ouroboros, who I'm new to myself 🤘

You'll get a lot of Jinjer recommendations. For me personally I first Pisces, next was Jinjer - I Speak Astronomy! It's truly a metal masterpiece! Those two songs together made Jinjer one of my favorite bands ever. I highly recommend I Speak Astronomy next.
P.S. when I say metal masterpiece, I'm a 26 year percussionist that plays guitar and bass too. The composition in I Speak Astronomy is amazing and the talent in each musician is beyond phenomenal. Tatiana showcases some great vocal range and diversity in it. Vlad is trying to kill the drumset by the end I think and Roman & Eugene have incredible chemistry!

I've watched a fair amount of reactions to this song but this is one of the best! Finally somebody who knows the genre a bit that can comment on it makes all the difference!
Also, I'd recommend "The Anchor and the Sail" by The Agonist or "Here Come The Vultures" by Delain or other songs from the same bands, you'll love it!

Ahhhhh, always great to see another poor soul fall helplessly into the Jinjer rabbit hole!! There is no escape either!! But that's ok - we all love it down here!! So, you can pick just about any next Jinjer song to react to because among many of the amazing facts about Jinjer - they don't have a bad song!! But if I have to, do "Teacher, Teacher" official vid. They have MANY official and raw live videos that demonstrate this band's amazing talent. But be advised - they are state-of-the-art progressive metal, and not everything is digestible from one listening. So have fun, and looking forward to the next one!! Peace! This is by far one of there most mellow songs. Almost none of there stuff follows this trend. It's a just a lot more in your face and technical.
