How much do you put into them to work on it
I have been looking back at some of your older videos and in comparison, I do find your videos with Wiley so much fun, Wiley is so dry and the humour between you both is classic.
Thanks 🙏
THESE GUYS KNOW NOTHING ABOUT DIESEL ENGINES ,, BUT THEY ARE LEARNING
Wiley is the main man he’s a blast to watch
@@tammylott921 But unlike some youtubers that are supposed experts in their own mind, these 2 admit they aren't right on screen. I think the others rely on star status from fans that have no clue about what they are doing either, it's kinda like watching gold rush and some of "what happens". It makes me sad when I see young kids say they see some of those other guys as role models in comments, then you wonder why kids get in trouble and have no ambition !
@@HamiltonvilleFarm like abbott and costello
You should get used engine oil and hydraulic oil from shops.
Just filter it ,it's good enough to test start engines.
I like that idea! Save some oil from normal car oil changes and that's good-nuff. :)😀
Wow. I wish I had thought of that. 🤷🏻♂️
Wow you guy's are getting better and better at assessing equipment.
All kinds of fun out there fellas! Love these kinda vids! Ya'll be safe out there!
Preciate ya buddy
I think you guys made that look easy just some air in that front tyre and she is good to go
Well done 👍👍
Will it run? Absolutely! That's because Hank and Wiley are working on it! 😁👍 I've heard and seen these machines working. They sound like giant circular saws when they cut....it's really cool! Good job fellas! 😎
Right on👍
Thanks for the shout out Hank
Of course👍
Hank and Whilley that was great you guys got it goingand it is all running great the two pieces are good for what he wants runs cuts picks up small leaks can be fixed and the comedy show fantastic thank you for making my day brighter.
Hank....thanks for pushing this and sharing. Wiley....thanks for having the patients with it all and taking us along for the ride. I'd be the youngest of the group but it sure would be fun to come out and hang with you guys on a couple of these start ups. Keep up the good work...keep up the rescues of this forgotten equipment. God bless and have a great day, gents!
Thank you once again, love everyone of them
Hi Hank Hey Willie Hey Hank did you guy's see the little Frog 🐸 on the Fan Shroud @6:12 Great Video's
Ya'll make a great pair. It's fun to watch with ya'll.
Thanks 👍
Hi, I'm mal from wales England, I love watching 👀 you guys, specially the old man, not old but well used, cheers 👍
Good job guys awesome will it start. Appreciate the videos Hank and Wiley👍
Great work , always interested on the different designs and how you fix them , thanks for sharing 👍
Can't wait to see you guy's crank up that Kenworth W900A looks like a nice truck.
That video has been out a couple weeks now 😁👍
It'll crank, by Jove!!!
Hello Hank
Great job you and Wiley on this one
Its about time you brought the brush hog with you
The kill switch on our Volvo loader at work is on the outside in a little box by the steps.
Happy father's day hank n Wiley
all your videos are very good and even more so when you two are together, the truth is I had a lot of fun, greetings from Mexico
Thank you
Thanks Hank and Wiley for a great job great job thanks again
Thanks!
Wiley's right...a little blow by in a diesel is nomal...well older ones anyway. If there's enough blow by to blow off the oil fill cap, that's too much. haha I'm only 54 but now I feel old you guys talking about them old rotary phones. I remember we had one that took us awhile to dial a number. The Rotary dial return was wore out and took it forever to return to starting postion. haha I'd say we've seen a lot of change in our time Hank but I have a 91 year old uncle that I can't hold a candle to for that. Thanks for the videos as always! Nothing puts a smile on my face like too good buddies having a good time! God bless!
It's a joy to watch pure mechanical trouble shooting. It's getting to be a lost art. Hi from Canada 🇨🇦
411 is still around, I’m 36 used it a lot back in the 90s and early 2000s.
My was was 32, she new about it, lol
Love watching u and wiley doing will it starts
Vest from Va. Man I love how U guys start up those old machines. Especially those old logging trucks & skidders & cutters. Man the memories. Shout out Wily.👍
I think that’s why I enjoy it so much as well. I grew up in a pulpwood truck and my grandad owned a pulpwood yard. Wonderful memories that will last a lifetime. It just saddens me my kid with never know what pulpwooding was.
Great video Hank, that hydro ax fired right up and sounds great!
I really really love you watching your videos. I truly like your farm and everything you are doing
Hank, pick up an Audew jump starter. Mine only cost little over $150.00. And it will start a diesel simi truck with dead batteries. And it will charge with a USB cable,or a wall outlet. It's very very compact and lite. And mine will hold a charge for a couple of days with regular use. You'll be very glad you did.
Another fine video. Keep up the good work guys. Stay safe, and stay cool
Thanks!
9:15 pretty funny, in the Eastern Europe we had that piece of crap "phones" since later, I'm 23 and I still remember since I was 10 about it, we used to modify it and hook up the second ring outside so we can hear it even of we're in the yard 😂😂🤣🤣🤣
Another job well done as always Have a great weekend
you two have a really good track record for getting things to run, and one thing i have learned is..if yall cant get it running then it aint worth fooling with..thanks for the great videos hank and wiley !!
Веселый дед и хитрый дед снова в строю!)))
Спасибо за ролик!
Храни Господь Вас и Ваши семьи! С приветом из России.
Keep bringing the videos. Hank and Wiley tough through bruised and overheated ovaries to get any piece of gear checked out. God bless and keep safe the humorous duo!
I hope you guys get these to machines started
That's the easiest one yet you two are the best mechanics in the world
All it takes to make an engine 'crank' is a starter and a good battery. But if you want it to start and run it takes a lot more: fuel, compression, ignition and more.
old guys rule good one guys great video
That’s some good work my boy, my boy ⚡️
Man, I thought hanging with Elvis would keep me from getting lost, but I've lost him, too. Lol. I'm gonna need a satellite phone in order to be able to call search & rescue so I can get home at the end of the video. As always, all the best to everyone. Chef Scott 👩🍳
That one looks promising. Great video.
Got them both fired up bro nice one. Great video it made too guys. Safe travels
👍👍
Wiley is tougher than old boot leather.💪🏾😊
The engine isn't old enough to have that much blow-by, but it sure burns oil bad, maybe leaky exhaust valve stem seals. Did you see where the hydraulic oil was leaking from? There has to be a gusher somewhere, that tank was almost dry, if there was anything in it at all.
Glad you guys are trying to find homes for these pieces of forestry equipment. If they can’t be used themselves at least they will be good parts donors so other machines can keep working. I would assume parts constraints are making are making it hard on people in the forestry business.
I really look forward to seeing your videos come out, great fun thank you from the UK
Cheers
Another great video. Hats 🧢 off to hank and Wiley. It was interesting and enjoyable certainly.
You both put a lot of time and energy into this one plus some expensive oil and such.
BUT you got it running and moving and you both did a great job!!!!
Congratulations Hank and Wiley.
Hopefully you will have a buyer for that one. Good going.
Amazing how the hydraulic oil makes all the difference in the world. New machine ready to go- ha!!!!
Well, you got this one going so I will leave you alone.
You both take care and be safe.
Looking forward to the next video.
Appreciate the filming Hank. Hank do you do the editing or does Gina help with that duty?????
Thanks for everything Wiley and Hank.
You make my day.
The Iowa farm boy.
Steve.
Thanks buddy! I hire out editing 👍
Great video, easy engines to get going, beautiful battery clamps, but it works. keep these great video's coming. You both are a superb team and know what you are doing. Look forward to the next one.
Great video guy's, have you thought about a second battery in you're truck's so you don't were out your starter battery? just a thought! God Bless! :)
What was that bird singing so nicely for everybody?
I love watching you and Willy and all starting all this old equipment and machinery
Wally
Great video as usual. Wiley’s humor is so dry, he is hilarious.
I hope you guys have a siphon rig, so you can reclaim the hydraulic fluid you put in things that didn't work. May even do that with the oil, and antifreeze.
Love the content! You and Wiley are the best team in my opinion. Hope for many more videos to come
Thank you
I love yalls videos man keep them coming
Btw punch a hole in the lid should stop the hydraulic fuild from splashing ,worth a try
I don't know how you guys work in all that brush and those briars....'bout time you cleared out around a rig before working it! 🤣 I'd be throwing a small walk behind mower and a string trimmer in the truck for these jobs for sure! LoL
Hey Hank! Y'all do a great job with your channel. Have a question sir, what do y'all do with the equipment, do y'all fix it up and sell it? Would love to see some additional video's on what happens next with the equipment. Thank you!
My first time I hear ya saying... That's don't making oil... 😁
Kids!!! "Back in the day" our phones did not even have rotary dials. You picked up the receiver and an operator came on and said, "Number please." You gave the operator the number and she connected the call. Privacy? We had party lines with 5 homes on each line. Nosey neighbors were a real pain. When you were on a call anyone on your line could pick up their phone and listen in to the call. Oh, the good ole days!!!
Cranking rope = HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA that's awesome! Another awesome video, love it!
I believe that it will crank because y'all are awesome together
Thanks!
Put a hole in the other side of lid to get the gulps out when you pour
Correct a lot of the oil pails sold here in Canada had a smaller plastic cover opposite the spout, it was designed so you lifted the cover poked a screwdriver through the plastic to let air in. Then you could close the cover after to keep contamination out and re use the pail again for liquids after it was empty. The sad thing is that feature is gradually disappearing, but they still make the pails so the whole top comes off to re use them as a bucket, saving on waste for a few more uses.
Yall are batting pretty good lately. We can still use a rotary phone, having a land line and it's 611 to tech support when the web dies. GBWYall!
I used to work as a 411 operator back in 2000. We would have around 1200 calls in 8 hr shift.
wow
Hank we love ya brother you and wiley are awesome fellas enjoy the videos and stay cool out there
Good 👍🏻 job guys
Hank and his Sniffer 👍😂🤣
lol
Yeah, you young fellas are way too young to remember the way it was 😂😂. We didn't have a dial phone until I was 12! We'd lift the receive and wait for the operator, tell her the number and she'd connect us. 😂😂😂. Had a party line on the farm, but when we moved to a place with a phone and no ringer crank was real modern technology. And the moon was still made of cheese!! 🤣🤣🤣.
Cheers guys, thanks for posting!!
😁👍
Ive been watching since the beggining, and i have a thought for you. the ingersol air compressor is right at 1100 dollars at tractor supply.I have 6, one for every truck. I always tell everyone a man should never leave the driveway without everything to fix any tire they come across. That ability starts with air...
Yeah I’m actually in the market for a truck mounted air compressor as I type this
@@HamiltonvilleFarm I was trying to not sound like a critic! Love the show!
Didn’t take it that way. It’s all good 👍
Excellent video Hank :) , Wiley :) funny part on Rotary dail phones in my areas of Ontario Canada was last use in 2006 plus Party Lines! My house was in 2006 had 3 phones all black ones my grandparents of mom side installed same number one basement, one kitchen and other was in Master Bedroom! Also my father hated Party Line because operator put long wind ones talk on for hours like 8 hours and missing out calls when fire department call come in to respond or medical appointments or plus mom call when head home from work to plus emergency! Even when Auto Club Companies or Tow companies need for my Tow Truck business I have ! So we put second line in also phone number for help out and because cellphone coverage was horrible my area at time but 2009 got better on coverage area too after get 2 new towers near me on big 2 companies of Bell and Roger's! Still use 2 second home line and party line no longer around because long wind ones tide up lines and angry costumers too!
Good job Dynamic Duo. Enjoyed as always!
Thank you sir
very good job and God bless yall
Thank you buddy!
Awesome as always guys
Thanks!
One of those containers 6 litres is $50/$70 for cheap oil, all the best to yous and your loved ones
Heck yeah you finally got the stickers 😆. Great video Hank
Right on👍
Needs a bit of wake up juice and a fair bit of luck & tlc and they will fire up.
A small tip, when ur startin old equipment, fog it with wd40 when u first crank it for a bit, yeah i know it usually wont start but it lubes the cylinders before ur shoot the ether...then u can split betweeen the 2 if it gives u a hard time startin. I always wear my welding jacket and gloves when checking stuff in the field cause i'm scared to death of wasp's etc..lol
Hi hank from west Alabama love y’all
Have a good day Jamie
@@HamiltonvilleFarm hank how are y’all doing down there
I remember 411,I'll be 56 next month and now a days all ya have to do is grab your phone and look things up
you guys are awesome God Bless
Hi this is jeff from Australia over here when we say its making oil it means you have water or fuel leaking in to the oil pan
we only say it bc we think its funny :)
I remember the rotter phone 📞 my grandma had two rotter phones in her house y’all are awesome your huge fan Sean. From Lebanon Oklahoma
Thanks Sean!
I’ve never used a rotary phone I was born in 99 but my grandfather had one of those phones at his house but it wasn’t hooked up
Another great Hank and Wally video
another very enjoyable vid well done!
Thanks!
Nothing runs like a deer or bounces like Wiley. You got to be easy on them old people. Maybe get a portable handicap ramp...lol just picking he's the star of this show... sorry Hank..lmbo
A honey hole of used equipment.
Nice vid Hank.
Thanks 👍
Hey guys great videos. And just a quick FYI brake cleaner and carb cleaner kills wasps waaaay faster and cheaper than that wasp spray also that either will work.
411 you say? lol i remember back in the day u had to call the operator there was no 411😂🤣
That ax is a nice machine !
Thanks for the video, Hopefully there's a few more $ in these than youtube content pays. Well at least when wiley said about the first day he met you and Tommy he didn't say "I'm still wishin I kept driving" L.O.L I wonder if that cummins was swapped in after the original Cat blew up ! Take care guys.
man that engine runs good on the first part, still planin on sendin some stickers, actaully talkin to the gal thats doin my merch fer me as she lives over in louieville, vet owned buisness to, an gonna be gettin a few things made up to keep on hqand an gonna see if shel send some out as i think it might be easier since shes closer instead of comin this way then goin back that way
Hank, I'm gonna make a suggestion hear, and idk what difference it makes hear, but yall should start saving some burnt oil and keep it on hand whenever yall get a machine with low oil. Might save a bit of money.
Good idea
That one’s ready to go to work
Yes, we have 411 in canada too
right on
