    you guys need to get more compression in the cylinders. it sounds like only a couple have compression and thats why its not starting. if its just rings then try putting some marvels in the cylinders so it can work on releasing those rings so they sit against the cylinder walls and build compression. you can run some real heavy oil in it too. it may have some stuck valves from sitting and thats letting compression escape. you would have to open up the valve cover to see that. great vid guys.

    That engine is an 855 Cummins. The original engine was a V8 903 cubic inch 👍

    Again, Wiley, ever the optimist, stated it's another 3 minute porta potty video. Well, I went into the porta potty and waited and waited for the rumble and grumble of a diesel engine but to no avail.
    When I emerged from my self imposed porta potty exile I needed a haircut and my clothes had gone out of style.
    I've concluded that Wiley measures time in dog years or something.
    Great video guys..Always enjoy the process even when the equipment doesn't cooperate.

    You can also call that different diesel fuel fresher fuel than what's in it instead of older setting diesel fuel.

    903 is a V8 . that's either a NTC or NH series inline 6 cylinder Cummins .

    Non turbo it probably has compression Release find that it will spin over alot faster then when you get some heat built up throw it in while it's spinning over

    That's supposed to be a 903 but I thought the 903 was A Vee engine ,that looks to be an in-line engine but it's hard to tell from the video. 903 had a bad reputation that motor may have been changed

    A 903 is a V8 motor, that is a 855 ci probably a 290 or a 335

    I watch your channel fairly often, but when I heard a thing from gentry and son's trucking I was unable to remember you. I will also leave them a message. They are looking for the trucks you deal with and they don't have to run for them. Tim gentry prefers it running but he and his crew also work on them

    Good news is you've resurrected a bunch of Cummins just have to go back and go to the drawing board and do the same things as always.
    Biggest problem usually is the pump getting them started. Especially on the old small cam cummins

    It’ll fire right up with super (HOT) batteries. I just don’t understand why you wouldn’t carry at least a 200 amp or 450amp battery changer on your new rig truck. You always saying work smarter not harder ??
