X-Men: The Animated Series was a ground breaking animated series based on a comic book which led 20th Century Fox bringing the X-Men to the big screen (2000 - 2020). The Dark Phoenix storyline predated Daenerys Targaryen going psychotic in the final season of Game of Thrones which came out the same year as X-Men: Dark Phoenix.
As a kid growing up in the 70s, I adored The X Men and collected as many of their comics as I could find,,, all of which I still have today. So, needless to say, I followed this series faithfully and ,of course, own it in it's entirety. BUT, as good as this adaptation was, I still had a very hard time reconciling the fact that they reduced 2 original team members, Angel & Iceman, to mere guest spots. In fact, of the originals, Warren was my favorite character, and this series all but ignores/erases his team history. AND, long before Logan, Warren was the 'dude with the 'tude' & the wannabe other man in the love triangle with Scott & Jean. Angel was more than some after thought..he was a leader in his own right, as evidenced when he first split away to form his own X Team in L.A. It's horseshit that he's depicted here as nothing more than a stooge for Apocalypse. Dismissing Angel & Iceman [and Polaris, Havok, too] is the one glaring oversight that kept this series from being even better than it is perceived to be.
Fox's "X-Men Apocalypse" is not an adaptation of Age of Apocalypse. It is loosely based on Fall of the Mutants. There's nothing in the movie about time travel, Xavier dying in the past, etc.
In todays climate with regards, to all of the Division in society currently. And the push for destructive, none essential inclusion. It is really hard to say, however I believe if they stick with the original source material. And bring back the original show runners and writers. And stay true to the vision of the original series, we might just have a great show on our hands💯👌. . However if it goes full woke, we vote with our wallets until it goes full broke lol 😂😂.
Or maybe just maybe and here's a thought because Magneto and Xavier reconciled maybe Magneto will be the leader of the X-Men call me crazy but that's sure what it looked like to me
I just noticed he says spoilers 🤣🤣😂 I'm fifty two years old and I watch this more than any other show on disney plus and it's my second favorite streaming show Y'all wearing out my patience over there at Disney Kevin More More Mutants More More Mutants More More Mutants More More Mutants ( Continues chanting)

Please have your writers fact check their stories more before you post it to RUclips you gonna loss all credibility with your fan base and people will stop watching
I spent my whole childhood watching these stories to the cartoon series and now they are doing these new movies the life action film series what Kevin feige and Brian singer did with the film series
For a long time show me these movies based on the cartoon series
With so many film writers telling their cautionary storytelling based on the best movie showrunner
From the cartoon to the live action you can take these stories anywhere in the larger X-Men Saga trilogy
@Marvelous Videos,
The Time Fugitives, Days of Future Past, & One Man's Worth episodes..
.. should have been ENTIRE season story arcs. 😔
Show was amazing. There hadn't been anything as good since Transformers.
I loved the X-MEN cartoon!!! I wish that I had bought the DVD's of this cartoon. I haven't really watched any cartoons since the late 1960's to 1970's!!! As a child, I loved The Herculoids, Space Ghost, Frankenstein Jr and Johnny Quest!!! The Three Musketeers and The Arabian Knights were cool too!
The Pink Panther? Hell Yeah!!!
the way you're talking is like you can't get the dvd? you remember dvd werent available in the 90s right......but if you haven't really watched cartoons in 60 years then you didn't watch this series either.....you look good for at least a 60+ year old
oh I get it, you're a christian and Christians look down on this type of thing so you won't ever get it despite.....loving the cartoon that you never saw? you really are confusing, can you be a little less contradicting? I know you're not a hypocrite, thats not what christians are
Morph wasn't an series exclusive character, he was actually from the comics but he was called Changeling in the comics(he impersonated Professor X and was killed while portraying him)
Yes!!🙌
Possibly the best cartoon ever made
I was kid when this came out just the best deep story lines with a lot of characters the best of marvel
Mr. Sinister made Morph feel the way he did. Morph was almost dead Sinister brought him back and altered his mind
SALUT !!!
je viens de refaire le générique des XMEN !!!
bon visionnage...

Probably molested poor Morph too as part of the psychological torture.
Crash AGAINST me and be BROKEN!
I would not say X-Men Apocalypse movie was an adaptation of Age of Apocalypse at all
Childhood memories
The only other intro better than Xmen was Transformers imo.
n...o.... that honor should go to Batman the animate series season 1. The s1 of Batman was almost as dark as the Tim Burton Batman.
I like the episode RedDawn ,especially when Rogue calls him a mechanical squid lol.
⁰
Great series.
My favorite toy of all time was a mixture of wolverine and sabertooth. Lol
Ich habe die Serie geliebt als Kind und ich bin gespannt was auf uns zukommen wird mit der neuen Version der Serie
you forgot "one mans worth episode with avenger cameo and dark phoenix saga last episode with spiderman captain Britain war machine cameos
Oh so many memories! 👍
my favourite villains were apocalypse, omega red & mr sinister. Apocalypse had the best dialogue and was bigger threat
Except the last season of X-Men the animated series who drew that don't bring them back
What’s the name of the music under that first Wolverine episode recap?
Makes me wonder exactly how many time they said the word Destroy in this series lol
Never "kill." Eliminate, liquidate, destroy. Probably some other euphemisms I'm missing.
I have all these x-men animated series on dvd
I like how he pronounced Kevin Feige, lol.
1235, you are wrong. Morph was abandoned in the episode night of the sentinels. I think it's actually episode 1.
I am thinking of the sound of this show right now.
was completely accurate
Seems like I’m early
You are never early on Marvelous Videos! Welcome! :)
11 arcs... Intro 11 episodes.. okay that makes more sense
It was truly great for it's time without question !Your description of 1 Man's Worth is wrong!

Morph was always my guy!
Fox's "X-Men Apocalypse" is not an adaptation of Age of Apocalypse. It is loosely based on Fall of the Mutants. There's nothing in the movie about time travel, Xavier dying in the past, etc.
we need heroes in the world now to heal our planet from all wrong doings going on today .
Season 5 was complete and total garbage. Hopefully X-Men '97 erases season 5 from existence.
Indeed season five, the poo poo season. Indeed let's say no more lol.
Does anyone really think the revival will be as good?
In todays climate with regards, to all of the Division in society currently. And the push for destructive, none essential inclusion. It is really hard to say, however I believe if they stick with the original source material. And bring back the original show runners and writers. And stay true to the vision of the original series, we might just have a great show on our hands💯👌. . However if it goes full woke, we vote with our wallets until it goes full broke lol 😂😂.
Or maybe just maybe and here's a thought because Magneto and Xavier reconciled maybe Magneto will be the leader of the X-Men call me crazy but that's sure what it looked like to me
X-men Origins was good
all of them
I just noticed he says spoilers 🤣🤣😂
I'm fifty two years old and I watch this more than any other show on disney plus and it's my second favorite streaming show
Y'all wearing out my patience over there at Disney Kevin
More More Mutants
More More Mutants
More More Mutants
More More Mutants
( Continues chanting)
I’m the juggernaut bitch!
For days of futures past just noticed that in the end of the episode
You czn see wolverines body in the water tank just the adamantium bone
Dude was vaporized waiting to heal lol sheesh
What about the Dark Phoenix saga?
At about 1 minute 20 seconds there is a stretch of scenes from an X-Men cartoon I don’t recognize. What is it??
Marvel Anime: X-Men
is that kang in @9:37 ??
