Thanks. To forward a video to another friend that was not the original recipient go to your video & just hold your finger on the video and a new menu appears offering options to send, forward, etc.

If I save someone else's Marco polo will they be notified?
for iphones you can choose which color to doodle with. but you can't do the voice changer like you can with android. I wish they would fix that. I have an android 6 edge. it's not exactly a turn off for me but I with they give android users a chance to changer color. thanks for the video

Do you know how to watch people's reactions to your stories? I have left some for people and they can't watch it and people have left me some and I can't figure out how to watch them.
You can send the invites by just typing the names of the people you want to send the invitation to.

So you can't use the Marco Polo app like you'd use the hangouts app, or Google Talk, but you can send messages.
One thing that you didn't cover is how many messages can you send before the other person opens and receives them. For instance can I send multiple video messages or will one message overwrite the next?

Mr. Martin. Thank you for your comment. And sorry for the delay. When it says John is on Marco polo, it means that that user is active at the present moment and generally making a video but probably not to you. It definitely does not mean that they are watching your videos
I don't see the menus that you shared, plus don't see where people are sending me videos. That was the purpose of me watching this video.

+Ona Bregman Hill ona you cannot speak to someone live as if it were FaceTime. Think of this app as a walkie talkie. First you talk, then they talk. But this is not a face-to-face in real time app. Try ooVoo or Google's Duo app for live real-time chats
After the first complete play of a video message, it plays only 5 seconds when I go back to see/listen again. How do I get the full length play each time? Thanks!

I downloaded this app today and your tutorial is excellent. But, I do not have the microphone icon on my screen. I have the "T" and the "pencil" and the camera icons but no microphone. Did I miss something during my install?

+5va great question, and a very common one. Unfortunately, at this time Marco Polo does not support voice changer for iOS. But I think they are working on it

+Arlite Romezie you actually don't need to remove the videos as they don't take up any space. But fear not....my Arlite. If you subscribe and hit that lil bell, you'll be notified of a video I have coming up that actually addresses that very issue. Hope you can tune in.

is this guy on his laptop cause I don't see him talking into his phone. the reason I ask is I downloaded it on a laptop and it seems to be malfunctioning. its crashes when I click on a contact and makes me have to reopen it every time it crashes. hemmmm....

How do you unlink bitmoji from the marco polo app? Go back and forth between pictures and bitmoji?
I have contacts show up on my list that say my friends name and phone numbers but the photos arent of them and they deny having the app. Could it be that its the account of the previous user of that number? They also say used over a week ago all the time like they really arent on there.

+9LivesProject unfortunately you cannot save those video. At least from the used perspective. I'm sure the video exists in their server but do you think they'd get it to you?
How does one text only using the App? I do not want to give this app access to my contacts or microphone.
BonnieBlue2A that's a good question, I don't know if this app is designed to be used as a text-only service. I think if you do not allow access to the microphone at least then the app will not work properly. Texting is only an additional feature whereas video is the main feature.

+Shanique Burrows I'm not really sure I understand the question but each Marco Polo account is attached to a single phone number so even if you switch phones you will have access to all of your videos. You can also save your videos from your phone by long pressing the video tile and selecting the download option from the drop-down menu

How do you add the emojis during a live chat?
+mskllett you only need to tap the emojis like you would in Facebook. They pop up live as the other person is talking

you can download the vids onto your phone and edit if you want...thats what i did on many of my Marco Polo videos

You can only chat live in as much as you're able to communicate live with someone that you're texting with. You send a message and then they send the message sometimes 2 people can send messages at the same time and they cross but it is not like face time where you can literally see the person live. Try to think of this app asked the video version of text messaging
You can tell someone has seen your polo because they're little icon will appear in the last video message you sent

How do you know if your video message has been seen/watched??? If they turn off the settings that shows when you are online to your friends?
+JustJess you'll see a lil icon in the bottom of the thumbnail. This means they've at least started your video

+shamira saxon good question. I'm not sure but my guess would be no as Marco Polo works with phone numbers which are generally attached to phones. I wonder if there was a Google number attached to that android tablet

+David Roy Griffin they cannot be reviewed. If the person is on their app as you're talking, they will view it in real time

David Roy Griffin well not in the traditional sense. There needs to be a connection first before you friend someone on Marco Polo. You can't just search around and discover people

It says that it's playing from the ear piece, I turned off Bluetooth and there's no ear piece connected, it also says if I move the phone from my ear it will disconnect but the phone is lying on a table

Duncan Oliver the only thing I can imagine is that your specific device is having trouble. cuz there's no mode on Marco Polo (that I know of) where the video can be on silent.

+Dan Russell then unfortunately you cannot forward Apollo that someone sent to you you can only forward a polo that you have made what you might be able to do is use a screen recorder on your phone to record the message sent by the other user. +Amy Davis yes Amy press and hold the video you wanna delete. The option window will pop up and you select the delete option. But you should know that you can only delete your own Marco Polo videos not the videos created by your friend. Do you have the ability to view the video once it is sent? Seems like the app use to allow the viewing of the video prior to it being sent. Now it just sends without me being able to view it first.
i dont rememeber a time when there was a preview prior to sending. you can view it but once its sent ...its sent

+Pamela Terry yes, on android, you can definitely download the video to your phone. But only the videos you make, not the videos your friend sends. That's a strange thing I know. To save your videos, select the video and long press to bring trigger the pop-up menu. Then select save to phone

Hello, I noticed that sometimes a small, round image of the person I am chatting with will appear in the lower right corner of the thumbnail of a message I sent already. I can't find anything that explains what it means. Does it mean they have seen it? Or are watching it real time? I noticed it on your tutorial too at 7:35/11:09 mins (next to the last thumbnail shows Ariella like that). Thanks!

Unfortunately there's no way to review...so make it count. And no way to delete the vid from their account

Sometimes there are occasional glitches with the way the Marco Polo app integrates with your particular phone. You might try to uninstall and reinstall the app

+Niesha G the app does not allow you to tell if someone has been blocked other than the person doing the blocking. If you are being blocked you will not know it will just seem as if you are sending messages to the person and they are not responding to you

You can easily change your name from your profile. From the app home screen:
Tap on the menu along the top bar Select ProfileEnter your updated name and press enter on your keyboard to save

+antonio williams thanks man...the only thing that's a lil tricky is the way that it tries to send invites to many of your contacts by default. You have to be deliberate in unchecking those boxes right? Otherwise, it's a pretty damn good app. Use with my friends just about everyday.

Thanks I did figure that out. However it's a bit much but, if you remove the person completely from your list it will delete all mgs. But you have to add them back to chat again.

You just long press the video tile of the polo you wanna download to your phone. Make sure you have enough space on your phone and then you can download as many polos add you want. But I'd still like to know the ages of sender and the receiver of these videos. Also, what state do you live in? Are you subscribed to my channel?
