yeah, a lot of extensions are optimised like c*ap. I have a gtx 1080, a 6700k, and 32GB of ram. once i get to around 8 windows with ~20-30 tabs each, The memory usage is outlandish. And I use the great suspender for tab suspension, but I think my extensions are still running in all those tabs. It eats like 16GB of ram. I really wish developers put more time into properly optimising their code.
Also, for browser alternatives I recomend chromium, waterfox, and brave. I've heard ungoogled chromium is good, but I never got it to install properly and at this point it isn't worth the hour of trouble shooting for me to figure out. If anyone has a very comprehensive and detailed install guide though, pls link it to me.

There are some extensions for online games! For example did you know roblox had an extension called Roblox+, it’s quite helpful for traders or developers too use.
I personally recommend you this extensions: Invideo, it's an extension that adds a button on RUclips and Vimeo, and open a tab where shows all the speech text in order and with the exact second, it's so useful, I use it to search some extensions bc I'm so lazy and with this you only copy/paste it xd. Another one is edit this cookie, it's for export/import/delete... cookies, very useful. And the HOLA VPN or Ultrasurf, are VPNs and the second one is soo slow, but it's easy to use, and it's useful when you need to download a torrent for example and that website is blocked. And the last one, Emoji for Google Chrome, it's just an Emoji keyboard, and it's useful bc the emojis are everywhere, and this extension makes all the emojis of all websites see like the IOS emojis, and with the keyboard, you can write them and is fantastic. Maybe for another video of Chrome extension you can add this. And thank you for all these useful extensions.

For the user agent thing. You can switch that by opening developer tools by pressing F12, and then opening the Network conditions window, and then switching user agents from there. Google made a redundant extension I guess!

It is called Extensions Manager (aka Switcher) extensions, applications & themes manager. It a light popup manager to enable, disable, uninstall extensions, applications quickly and easy. I been using for 2 years now and find it very handy.

One extension that I love is "Fullscreen Anything". It allows you to open any video to take up the full real estate of the browser window but not the whole screen. I have an 21:9 Ultra-wide screen which is basically like having two screens in one. The only problem is that if I am watching something like a coding tutorial and trying to follow along, I have to watch it at what ever display size the video provider thinks is good. This is often way too small to see what they are doing and follow along. This extension fixes the issue. I don't use that as much anymore because most of the videos I need this for is on RUclips and just recently, they added this option built in to the site. But it is still good on every other site out there.
