Question of the day 💡 Do you have a RUclips studio? What do you have in it? Let us know! Check Out Our New Go to Light, the GVM ST300R - gvmled.com/gvm-st300r-300w-led-video-light-rgbbi-color-double-sided-daylight-balanced-cob-light/?aff=102
My RUclips studio setup is... My old as 2013 Japanese second hand laptop and a secondary screen, A messy reviewing table and a smaller former one that I use to make my video thumbnails, A table lamp, Two tripods (Currently I'm have a plan to buy another tripod), Some cameras (2 Smartphones and a Camcorder) and... What else? Ah... My iPad! That's all what I have right now. (。•̀ᴗ-)✧ I still have a concept for my new setup though... But it's not here yet... This is for the future setup. I just keep going... Until I have enough with this current youtube setup... =)
Hello Think media , am an upcoming RUclips content creator from Kenya Africa . I have passion in cycling and I have decided to do content on what I love .. kindly guys if you could sponsor me on my starter RUclips studio . If u can believe and mentor me it will help me change a community around me
Hello there think media .. am upcoming RUclips content creator from Kenya Africa I love cycling. And I had passion in doing that as a topic of my contents .. kindly guys. If u could assist the the dream of this fellow African boy come true ..I was humbly requesting if u could just sponsor me on anything that can keep me going
I have a converted 100sq ft loft area I added some wall to fully enclose…padded it and now is a recording/RUclips studio….looks like the room threw up foam of red and black, but the quality of sound is amazing….it has three Neewer LED lighting, photo lighting with umbrellas, Rode wireless Lav, Blue Blackout Spark SL, Scarlett 2/2, Accell display link, 52” TV as monitor behind desk, teleprompter, Sony Ax6400 4K with microphone, Bose noise reduction headphones, iPad and Finally my Mac…I don’t write all this to brag, but more of “I’ve taken 6 months to complete and accumulated a lot of stuff and feel blessed for it”
I use my living room. I have to set up and break down the equipment each time. Maybe one day I will have a dedicated space.... I used the old Godox SL60, a Sony ZVE10 as my main and an old Sony a6000 as my B cam. I have a desk set up in the room that stays at all time with a custom built PC, 32" monitor and a Blackmagic ATEM mini switcher. It is annoying connecting/disconnecting cameras to my PC and setting up light stands, etc each time but so far I am sticking with it. Maybe once I have a decent amount of subscribers I will take the plunge to permanently mount lights (or convert a room) for something more permanent.
Please can you make a video for rode wireless 2 mic how to set it up to get audio quality same as yours and how you process audio step by step with every details because i get bad quality audio with same mic and i am not the only one complaining this would be a good video idea and would not take long from you because you are an expert
I absolutely LOVE those lights and have not heard of that brand before so thank you for the video and for GVM for sponsoring you to make it happen. Once I'm ready for the next upgrade I'll be sure to check them out to get one or both of those lights.
Thank you so much. I’m getting started with my brand new channel for women over 50 and trying to get the right lighting is killing me right now😩Everything I’ve tried seems so harsh. I loved the advice and the tips. Loved the window blinds effect and the corner shot. Wish me luck 🤞
The amount of thought put into this setup is amazing!! Loved the window effect, never knew that was a thing! Also, there's a typo for your last time stamp "record"...just a heads up! :)
What's up Omar, next level studio set up LOVE IT! I'm also learning from your style on camera, your at ease, knowledgeable and fun to watch. Thanks Omar :)
@@ThinkMediaTV I think the link to the kit site might not be working. I've tried in a few browsers. Is there another link or is the list of gear available in a doc or pdf format? Many thanks. Great vid as always my dude. Peace. -Pastor Scot
Great stuff as always! I have been using the corner of my 100 sq ft room, which I converted to what is now a large recording booth, which doubles as a beautiful padded room for the days certain individuals get under my skin…it does not come off as professional and was wondering if that material that makes the “black wall” could be an alternative to fix my look and also does it come in white? Hope you’re able to give some insight…thanks ahead of time and again, great content!
Hahahahaha!!! "Yo, where's your ND FILTER! We want that crispy shot with the blurred background! You better bring your ND filter." So funny! Great info you shared with us and I'm drooling the same way I do when I go to Guitar Center (I'm a songwriter and guitarist). I have been diagnosed with acute gear lust, and I hope I don't have an episode in another expensive gear category..
Hi Omar, I'm trying to make a look of me being well lit but the background being quite dark. Got any recommendations / what's your thoughts on one of those grid shaped things that fits on the front of the light to make it more directional?
Any tips for illuminating musical performances? In my case, I play the piano and record myself in profile. The problem is that the piano is against a wall and I can't use a classic 3-light configuration with the main light focused on the face from the front.
Looking for advice/options to properly setup a very small studio. I currently have a 11 x 6 office that I use. My desk is facing the 11 foot wall which has a window on the left side. To my left is a window, but it doesn't go outside. It views the other portion of my garage. To my back is the door, which is a sliding barn type door that I created.. I have all sorts of lights that I've purchased (P60x 2 each, A cheap $150 light kit with a whole slew of stuff off of Amazon, etc). I won't be moving at all when filming. I'm also looking into a teleprompter that I setup as a confidence camera. Keep in mind that I have a dual screen computer setup too that is emitting light.
Gotta love Think Media. Got a question tho. I’ve been trying to use my Deity D4 Duo to record audio for talking head videos but I’ve been having a hard time with what cables to connect to my laptop and if I need an extra piece of equipment or software to record my audio. Thanks!
Omar, just as an approximation, about how much was the total cost for all the gear & all the other things needed to set up your RUclips studio? I was just curious and was trying to get a reference point for a RUclips studio I'm considering putting together? Thanks so much!! Great vid!!!!
Great video. What’s the brand of the standing light bar/wand in the background? Can’t seem to find good recommendations on these for a decent price. Thanks in Advance!
Hey, great video thanks. May I ask: it doesn’t sound like you’re getting any room noise from the shotgun mic, yet you don’t appear to have any sound absorption either. I have a similar mic (MKH 416) but I’m getting a bit of room noise. Any tips on getting the best out of a shotgun mic in an indoor setting would be great! Thanks 🤙🏽
I would love a vid on this very topic. However, I believe that he is using the lav mic for audio instead of the camera's mic. Prob using the other as a backup. I believe that he would have some echo using only the shotgun. Just a guess on my part....
I have a COMICA shotgun mic I think it's called, and I've also been battling with room noise. What's helped for me is to turn down mic from inside the camera so u can control it better in post
We are using a Lav mic which helps, we use a Diety Boom Mic as well. The room is sound-treated with sound panels on the walls, 2 on the ceiling, and a floor rug - all of this helps the audio.
Ive watched almost every single Think Media video on lighting setup and when I do it exactly the same my eye farthest from the key light is always just a dark racoon eye. Yet Omar always manages to have the whitest of eye whites with both eyes lit up equally. Im using a Godox SL60W at 100% with a giant hexagonal softbox as my key light, and it is placed 30 to 45 degrees and slightly above eye level (definitely not as high up as Omar's light). Yet I still get crazy dark racoon eyes. So what gives? Is it my lens that isnt good enough (f/3.5-5.6)? Is it my camara (Canon80d) or is the Godox SL60W just not powerful enough? Or maybe my eye sockets are just too deep and are causing shadows? Regardless, Im getting quite annoyed at never being able to light both my eyes equaly like Omar does, and not being able to have the white of my eyes show as well as Omar's do.
Love the content folks, I had a question and need help on a decision. I currently using a Fuji X-T4 as a Main Camera. (Behind my monitors) I need 3 more cameras for 2 Overhead shots and 1 wideshot. Hi Omar,
Absolutely awesome!! No studio set up as of yet. I'm doing some research. Thanks for sharing. Fully view video. Have a great day. 👍

very nice. Great info. I like this.
I didn't know they made sunglasses for camera lenses! So cool I need to get one!

Was waiting for this
Wow! I'm upgrading ASAP!!!
I like the Comica version of the Wireless Mic Go. Cheaper and great.
The video I’ve been waiting for! I love to see the gear the pros use. Any chance you’ll have a video on color grading S-Log or HLG3?
It’s kind of beyond our community at think but Nolan made a great video on his channel ruclips.net/video/eaXlovt_NVA/видео.html
That GVM 300 light is awesome
Foreal! Haven't seen anything like it!
Love your videos...I learn so much! Can you please tell me the make/model of the boom stand/arm that you are using for the Deity microphone?

Marvelous, I know my channel will get there one day.

Hello 👋
Thank You!
You told that the Sony A7III has no record limits? Have you a solution to circumvent this? Mine can only record 20 minutes!
Great video :)
Thank you!
crispy blurry? :) What are your manual settings for vids? ISO, shutter, aperture? 2.8 on the aperture with the lens you specified?
I have a question? Do you work for think media and also do you buy your own video equipment?
Hey Omar! Just circling back....can you tell me which stand and boom pole you are using for the deity mic in this video? Much appreciated!!
What software do you use for Video Editing? and would you recommend iMovie?

Can you share the link for the XLR adapter that connects to the Sony camera, I can't find it it on Amazon
Let’s go! Still Tryna get that 100k
Can the two lights work simultaneously? I mean the front (RBG) and back (Daylight) lights, can they work at the same time

What acoustic ceiling panel are you using?
Hi. Please may I have a link to the slim hair light in the background? Pleeeaaase ;)
Do you have a link to the Gobo holder?
Nice👌

I don't have a dedicated youtube studio. So no listing of its contents.
Need help. iPhone camera videos l'd like to send to my RUclips channel but share button doesn't bring up RUclips as one of the options. But I use RUclips on my iPhone. How do I get the camera share to bring up RUclips as a place to share? Thanks.
Excellent updated video! Thanks! What's the model name and number of the Manfrotto tripod?
It's super old but here's what we would recommend: amzn.to/393JADV
Ok. Thanks so much!
How much $ do these lights add to the monthly electric bill?
Roughly how much is the whole setup?
What is the link to the vertical light at 8:06? Weird to put so much detail into a video and then completely gloss over that.
What camera 📷 do you recommend for me, I make auto Detailing videos.... I am currently using gopros
