If Thor is using his elemental powers and has Mjolnir or Stormbreaker, Thor is more powerful overall. But in the comics Hulk is literally "the strongest one there is." His strength increases with his rage, and has no known upper limit. I don't think the comics have ever definitively settled which would win if they both went all out.
@@danieldickson8591 I like them both but hulk lost to thanos only to show how strong thanos is hulk would of won with ease the producers said I'm not trying to say that hulk is stronger then thor will he apparently is but I'm just saying why he lost to thanos I'm just saying how strong hulk is but for me they are the strongest avengers not I think that thor is the strongest avenger with angry hulk gone
@@venom-123 mcu versions thor is stronger in the comics I think they’re equal
Nice scene focusing on the hammer in a lot of shots making later events more impactful.
This fight better then whole Love and Thunder movie
1:25 so he can go for surtr's head but not thanos'?
He didn't want go for the Thanos' head in Infinity War.
Not used to storm breaker. He had mjolnir for centuries. Had stormbreaker for an hour or 2
@@joshuapoller9369 Russo brothers already confirmed that Thor didn't want go for the head.
@@ScreenMasterMCU I think he didn’t go for the head because he wanted thanos to suffer before killing him since thanos killed his friend and brother
@@roamer.edits. Yes, Russo brothers confirmed it.
Fun fact: Infinity War was the only movie where Thor didn't had Mjolnir. He had the hammer from all his 4 movies and the three Avengers movies, some scenes in Loki series and his Throg variant, also his variant in What If..?, and technically he did have it in Doctor Strange credit scene with the umbrella since it took place during Ragnarok movie. From the end of Love and Thunder, its pretty much seen that we can still see more Thor-Mjolnir action in Chris's upcoming projects.
This remains my fav of all the Marvel movies. Loved many others, but there was something just perfect about this one.
For some reason when thor went "aaaaaah now" when mijolnir was coming and the music started playing gave me chills
If he can survive the heat and energy of a star, I think he shouldn't have an issue with touching fire.
It was surtur s beams
And he wasn't exactly struggling
Actually in this fight, Thor was trying to protect his beautiful, long, and golden hair.
Definitely some kind of hellfire or something similar
Uh, Hellfire, perhaps?
This is the same Thor that got taken out by a shock to the neck. The God of Thunder... being knocked out by electricity.
You ever been in love?……
It’s pretty gud
Remember when Thor was everyone’s favorite MCU hero?
Me in god of war 4 when I play on easiest mode:
Bruae
Give me a story
Am I only one who thinks
1:20 looks like he is dancing 🤣
"I make grave mistakes all the time. Everything seems to work out" Favorite line.
i love thors plan... prevent ragnarok by step 1: defeating surter. step 2: "acquire" crown of surtur (an ingredient of ragnarok) step 3: put said crown in odins vault which also happens to contain the eternal flame (the other key ingredient of ragnarok.
if thor wanted to truly prevent ragnarok he'd have dropped the crown in the heart of jotunheim, or tossed it into a neutron star, not tossed it into a vault 20 feet from literally the only other ingredient! way to think it through Point-Break.
Starting around 1:32, his strikes seem to almost mirror how Cap fought Thanos with Mjonir.
Surtur is definitely stronger than Thanos without the stones. So if Thor fought Thanos like this in endgame, he would prolly be dead in a minute.
This surtur is extremely weakened
wtf u dumb my guy lol? all surtur does in this entire fight is shoot fire out his sword, & then hit a bunch of times by mjolnir, & one shot from a lightning strike attack.
1:07 I just noticed that they reused his scream from Thor 1 when he couldn’t lift Mjolnir
I actually think this is the best action sequence in the film, because its the only scene that feel Supernatural. Norse and Greek Myth are Supernatural concepts after all! The rest of the film is about Thor is about dealing with aliens. Mad Respect to Screen Master!
One of the best scenes in the ragnarok movie.. Watched this like many many times again and again #loveit #thor
So this is what Thor has been doing when he left Atreus alone for a moment in Musphelheim 🤔
sure lotta draugr around here!
Still one of the best scenes in Marvel history.
I love Thor when he smiles like that.. its so comedic, it has me in fits every time! The sun's getting real low :)
Honestly this really felt like a boss fight I love it
*meanwhile a man and his child traveling in Muspelheim*
"dad, did you hear tha-"
-"none of our concern boi"
"but..."
-"NONE OF OUR CONCERN BOI"
Plot Twist: In the end, Thor is calling for Heimdall, but kratos already killed him..
Hahaha just like surtur laughing in this fight.
@@beagodtothegods8914 😂😂
Well wrong universe
It took Taika to make Thor look cool fighting with the Hammer, it also took Taika to make Thor look cool generally. Which is absurd that no one else did cause he's the goddamn god of lightning
They were going for a "ancient alien" kinda thing in tje beginning. Glad they went full God mode in this scene.
@@cheloxmv nothing says "God" like yelling like a little girl and being defeated by a taser. Taika is truly unmatched in his deep and esoteric understanding of godlike characters.
@@antona.8659 In this scene. I wasn't talking about the rest of the movie.
@@antona.8659 it not a taser, neuro toxin to be exact.
@@yunitayoeng6313 it's a taser.
Mjolnir at his peak.. the last time we see the original hammer fight on Thors side
If only the whole movie was like this!
Keep in mind the guy who voices Surtur also voices Mr. Krabs
He was in the court defending the punisher case in daredevil season 2
This was an absolutely amazing film
When u think about it, Thor is really the god of hammers in this scene since he hardly used any thunder
“Have you ever been in love? It’s pretty good.”
This is brilliant .!
Lmao
Surtur is a simp for Lady Liberty 😂
You know, I've got a crown too,
and we both like fire, right?
Come on. Let's see you turn up
the heat on this thing.
GOW thor > marvel thor
Yes
correct
Which Version? Infinity war Thor is still dope
In terms of form only
@@hurricane7727 yeah he is dope but i still think gow thor will bang infinity war thor in the ass
The background music is what I am all here for
Surtur in Marvel: AAAAAAAAAAAAA
Surtur in GOW : give me those blades I will be your Mon_ster
Do yuo mmmj juko srrd bhnv bbcty jxse ggdtcch gdfgcc
This is one part of why Ragnarok is the best Thor movie.
this scene better than the entire love and thunder movie
This is the Thor we wanted to see
Peak MCU
One of the Best scenes in any Thor movie. =)
Now that you have played god of war Ragnarok tell how does how does Thor Ragnarok make you feel?
Still love it I love both Thor
It's fine. People should stop with the bias bs just because GoWR did well
Wonder what the Vikings would have thought if they saw this lmao
Thank you Taika.
