It was a very large screen tv, my best friend's father was watching it while my friend and I were playing in the next room... Nightmares for YEARS! (I loved the circus, I even took little kid clowning classes, but anything CLOSE to this movie's imagery WRECKED my tiny psyche.)
Yes! One of the best 80s movie. Thanks for the review!

John Vernon as Casey Jones exists now in another universe...
Holy shit. How I can visit that universe?
Fun fact this film is actually shown in film making schools for learning
It was shown in a Visual Arts course that I took in college.
Please do an episode on Jey Li's
"Meltdown"
Its basically asian Die Hard with a side order of Bruceploytation and is seriously funny as shit.
I fucking LOVE this movie. The dark comedy moments crack me the hell up.
I think the writers of Dead Silence were fans of this movie.
Next Godzilla review: TOHO HOUSE!
I remember seeing this movie on HBO when I was a kid. It stuck with me. It was actually really entertaining.
This probably start in the late 80s direct to video craze where movie posters would be inside a blockbuster or a Hollywood video to help promote the film, instead of the newspaper.
*CRAZY CREATIVITY*
*CRAZY STORY*
*CRAZY KILLER CLOWNS FROM OUTER-SPACE!!!*
Also *MORE GODZILLA & ANIME REVIEWS!!!!*
The Chiodo Brothers also did the Rat Taxidermy figures in the Dinner for Schmucks remake.
I remember when the commercials for this movie came out. I wanted to see it but my pops thought I was too young (5).
Fun fact, that car chase was sped up because the Chiodos couldn’t get away with breaking speed limits in the little town where they shot this movie. Another fun fact, you know that scene where the clown in the invisible car runs that guy off the road? The car was supposed to fly off the bridge but the cable snapped so it just fell into the ditch. You can actually see the cable if you look at the scene close enough.
