Good and straight forward video! I am a 55yr old woman and this is how I eat. Meat (mostly red meat), eggs, cheese, fruit and Kimchi or sauerkraut. That's it! Same sh*t everyday and I actually love it! A steak makes my eyes roll in the back of my head! I crave this food now!

I struggle with epilepsy, and as a result of all the medicine (depakote, lacosamide) over the years I gained a fair amount of weight. During a seizure I injured my neck. I am wheelchair bound and gained a lot more weight. I'm almost walking again and need to lose weight. This video is very insightful and inspiring. With your advice, maybe I will be below 200 lbs again by the time I turn 20, but if not, thats ok I will get there. Great video.

I was at the same spot as you were, almost exact looking body haha, kept wanting to go way too low and then found myself going crazy on the peanut butter, eating the entire jar, I finally just started allowing myself to eat more, I restrict myself way less, I just do intermittent fast, and I eat whenever I want in a certain time frame while counting my calories approximately (low-carb, high protein, high fats) and I do cardio which I found just boosts my fat burn, also had started taking omega 3 supplements and for some reason while on it, my hunger is way lower, not sure why, but I'm not complaining. I'm finally in those final stages, getting close to my end goal, and actually feel pretty good in my body at the moment. My big turning point was when I had a 1-week-long insane binge but every day of that week I was doing cardio burning 1500 cal daily, I found myself actually leaner than before after all that binging and that's when I realized I had been doing it wrong.

I want to be lean and healthy but I also know that being fat doesn’t always equate to being ugly and unhealthy. There are a lot of “fat” people who seem big but are actually fit and healthy, or have underlying issues and illnesses that are beyond their control. I think this viewpoint helped me a lot understanding my body, and less judgy on what I see myself and other people.

Count Calories, intermittent fasting, and BE PATIENT. People remember them only being fat and not the time it took to get to that weight. Getting to that weight doesn't happen overnight and depending on how long you were fat you probably can't remember the last time you were skinny to that fat timeline. Mostly it would take about 2-3x the amount of time you put on to take it off.

i agree with the majority of this but imo and this is just me a essential part of my weight loss was those 0 calorie drinks like coke zero or sugar free monsters (which were the main 2 i drunk while loosing weight) i think that as long as your water intake is good enough they do help suppress craving for sweet things and are helpful in the long run especially as someone who is affected by the appetite suppressing qualities of caffeine it was super helpful 😊

agree, he mixes health and weightloss but they arent necessarily the same. alls that matters is keeping your protein high and calories low. HOW you get those in isn't super important but I think he found it easier to be hyper-aware of everything he was eating, so he switched to things like grass-fed meats even though those arent completely necessary.

I've been eating better like 6 eggs (30 grams) (then 9 slices of turkey also 30 grams of protein) then 20 grams of whole wheat bread so 4 slices then a 50-60 protein shake and that's about my meals for the day as i typically only eat about one or two things a day to feel entirely full back before i decided to cook for myself any suggestions?

ngl i dont agree with trying to avoid rice, obv yes you shouldn't eat a lot of it, but rice itself with meals isn't that bad even if you eat it consistently. carbs itself is a myth of being bad, processed carbs are bad. In south asia, obesity is a bit high due to their fat/protein meals, but in east asia the protein is very different and a lot of people are skinny in general, both regions have a high amount of rice in a lot of meals.
Also for protein shakes, they should ideally be used as emergency meal replacements, a lot of people say to try and eat protein bars/shakes directly after a workout but a more important things is eating meals throughout the day if you are working out, the protein bars/shakes after a workout is a lot less important than people think.
    loved the video otherwise though

If he was raised Chinese, which I assume he was, the definition is different. What is deemed chubby to Westerners is considered fat in Chinese culture. It might have to do with the language too, because there's no word for chubby. The Chinese word for fat also doesn't carry the same level of negativity as in English.
When Chinese people call something obese, there's a different term for that, and that term is insulting.

So feeling bad in front of the mirror is not something good to me. I can asure you that 99% of the people with overweigh looking themself on the mirror are feeling terrible. To me the fact that you are saying that this is good is so shocking. I can definitely understand your point. But you should be more careful.
    Btw Great Change!

Hate to say it but, this is a prime example of why you shouldn’t listen to everything on the internet. He’s basically saying if you want to get lean, buy the most expensive high end product out there, which isn’t true at all. This may matter for like 1% of athletes but overall that’s not affecting you as much as he is describing. This how the mindset of anorexic person begins. Cheat meals once in a while is okay, store bought salmon is perfectly fine but most importantly eating healthy and getting exercise. The brand or how it’s raised is not the limiting factor to get the physique you desire.
