Quilge's holy form transformation, As Nodt tearing Byakuya a new one, Kenpachi doing Kenpachi things, OG Gotei 13 killing quincies, Yamamoto's bankai and flashback with Sasakibe also Ichigo using his bankai the first time to his talk with Byakuya and fighting Yhwach plus a lot Uryu content thank god

I’d really want a filler episode centered around Aizen in prison. Just an entire episode of Aizen’s thoughts while strapped to his BDSM chair. I think it could be used to flesh out Aizen or just be something funny.

Technically the entire scene of aizen and yhwach was re written by Kubo when it was presented to him by Mr. Hiramatsu ( one of the script writers).
And most of these scenes are mainly requested by Kubo himself.
There are multiple interviews with the staff and Kubo . Everyone who have doubt can check them out .
Mr. Kubo is heavily involved with the studio , to the point he is like a second director .
Mr. Kubo was actually hesitant towards having that much power over the anime . But the director ( Mr. Tomohisa Taguchi ) and everyone involved are extremely glad that he is doing that . As the director puts it's having Mr. Kubo involved with them means the anime would be actual BLEACH .

@@Megapkmn77 filler by definition is used to "fill" time so the anime doesn't catch up to the manga. In Bleach's case, it isn't filler because Kubo has full oversight. So yea just anime canon

This is not filler because it's material that was approved by Kubo himself. It's now considered anime canon.
Facts
Not only did we get Bleach in quality modern animation but a redemption of Bleach filler. I knew we could trust the Akudama team
Filler in OG Bleach wasn’t even bad. Random Filler episodes in between main ones were, but the actual arcs like the Zanpakuto Rebellion and Regai arcs were good. Only one that I’d argue is bad is the bount arc, and that’s mostly because it had a really odd start. Once it got to the middle and towards the end, it picked up quite a bit
filler are scenes made so that the anime doesn't catch up to manga, by definition. so this cannot be filler. it's anime canon..
TYBW anime has gave me exactly what I wanted most from the manga extended fights and scenes expanded upon from manga panels so damn good I'm blushing

1:43 they are not fillers just a correction is canon, Kubo is helping fill the gaps. He said the anime will be the definitive version of this arc.
I always say filler doesn’t always mean bad, like anything else, it just depends how it’s written. There are some anime with filler that expands on the story the source material left out. Naruto and Fairy Tail do it a bunch.
Exactly. It all comes down to how it's used and whether it benefits the story.

The last two filler arcs in Bleach were decent and worth watching. Plus a few side story episodes.

Exactly. It’s only technically filler because it’s not in the manga. But it might as well be when you have Kubo drawing the OG Gotei 13 right before they appear in the anime.

Filller is anime content created to pad time to let the manga get ahead. It’s not filler at all it’s all canon because Kubo is adding it to the story to flesh it out

its obviously improving the anime, any one that says otherwise doesn't know what the fuck they are talking about. and this is the first time i am hearing someone complaining about the incredible new scene and more to come
It’s funny because you can’t even criticize it. All you can say is “well it’s only filler.” Which just sounds ignorant really.
Funny part of all this is that this isnt even filler, its expansion of what we already had. For example Aizen and Yhwachs conversation has some bits from the latest novels, which gives us Aizens goal and how, in his eyes, both soul reapers and quincies are enemies. EDIT: Aizen is what Madara should've been in Naruto.
The thing is though it's not just "filler". It's actual canon material

Ik this is unrelated but I hope they do same in Edens zero with Acnoella’s & cure/Crow backstory. I enjoyed Crows presence as a villain for Holy & the crew but cure being involved & nothing coming out of it is frustrating I hope the anime fixes this but I doubt jc staff ever would.
It's not filler it is an add on by Kubo
The problem with bleach filler is the timing of the arcs like a filler in the middle of an arc lol. Arguably the anime has made the zanpaktou rebellion filler more canon with a flashback to Koga and Muramasa in the fight with Byakuya and As Nodt. So parts or all of it could be considered canon now. Some content from fillers are in the novels and they could be using novel content for this new adaptation too

They're both great tho. Finished the anime years ago but picked up the manga this year as a refresher. It's pretty cool to see the original vision and how certain things got changed with the anime

Those for me aren't fillers, those are "Additional Scenes/Contents", that was originally gonna be part of the Manga but didn't because of Kubo's Health issues that he needed to rush it. It was stated multiple times prior to it's release. These additional contents are also canon and are significant to the story. They're not some scenes that was added just to show additional scenes to the anime, those are the scenes that was added to fill in the gaps of what the Manga has lacking and to explain the war better to the audience. It's really been stated multiple times by the Author and Bleach Content Creators that the anime will be getting "Additional Scenes" and those are that and that's why people have been waiting for it to get an Anime Adaptation just for the sole purpose of additional scenes, better pacing, and more equivalent explanation of the story and that's the purpose of those additional scenes

You should give more credit to Kubo actually working with the anime studio and finishing his masterpiece not to the studio without Kubo they wouldn't do such a good job

I absolutely love both the anime and manga for the whole bleach series however, I love the manga more in terms of source material and kubo's original drawings designs and just preferences in general but I do agree that the current anime is a much better experience
Hopefully we see what happens to more characters and moments in the ending

Yea I heard this new anime is brilliant, I’m not watching it because I haven’t read the manga yet, I have the first 21 volumes but just haven’t started it yet, I’ll wait until I get the rest of the volumes and then binge it.
another thing I would add to the anime TYBW is Sternritters actually using all basics of Quincy techniques, especially their ability to absorb reishi. We only get a glimpse of using those with Uryu fighting Mayuri turning out that area being absorbed by Uryu to amplify his ablities and sustain himself with Ransotengai, and Quilge using all of his skillsets to the extent of absorbing reishi in Hueco Mundo to hinder Ichigo from going to the Soul Society.
Also, Byakuya must be dead in this rendition as Kubo intended to and to make Rukia and As Nodt more personal, Unohana must survive training with Zaraki to at least show some glimpses of her ruthlessness in the Second Invasion or even securing the Soul King Palace where she could go all out against the Sternritters. Also, the Vizards are downplayed in this arc with Shinji running around the Seiretei and not using their hollow masks, their hollow powers being a kryptonite to Quincies without their Voldstandig is vital to turn the tides of war (I don't care if they were banned when there is Aizen running around the warzone and Unohana relieving her past self).
Finally, a face-off between Jushiro with Mimihagi vs Pernida (Stagnation vs Progress juxtaposition is a missed opportunity to talk about or at least depict their lieges with Mimihagi allied with Shinigamis and Pernida with the Quincies)
I hope we get more then 50 episodes , and I hope we can just keep Bleach going this doesn’t have to be the Final arc I love Bleach
I think appropriate filler is content that fills the gaps that helps better present a point of storytelling or its worldbuilding that the writer wants the viewer to notice.
Bleach has so far been knocking it out of the park with filler as theyve been adding more foundation to certain characters and scenes such as uryu and effectively showing us the past of the thousand year war, while also thinning out unnecessary filler such as comedic scenes that i feel would hurt the immersion of the dark tone the anime has been presenting.
Disagree on it being the worst filler, rebellion and reigai are good stuff
I agree that the anime is better in general. However Kubo said that the comedy scenes were cut because they wouldn't work out in an anime adaptation of it, due to disrupting the ambiance and tension. So where the anime beats the manga out for most things the manga is still better in comedy for obvious reasons
I would just say that this is just good adaptation. I think that the story works better in the comic medium, the black and white format looks gorgeous with Bleach. It’s hard to replicate that in the anime
The Bleach storyline relies on fight choreography and music scores. You just can't get that from the manga.
I wouldn't exactly call it filler. TYBW was awesome and the lore is insane, but the story itself was pretty barebones. Its more like Pierrot is adding more meat. Its more like they're adding deleted scenes that always belonged there.

I think you dont need to be concern too much about tagushi adding random stuff since everytime before he add he ask kubo first. Kubo are allowed to add and change everything he want in anime since taguchi want this to be 100% bleach

I wouldn't go as far as to say the anime is better than the manga. At least when it comes to the last anime adaptation. The manga is better than the original anime. As far as the TYBW adaptation, it does improve upon the last arc but I wouldn't say it is better just yet. I wait for the anime to finish before saying itbis better than the manga. And I am sorry but u still say Aizen is overrated and boring.
