@@剛田剛彦 If you ever driven a gt3 or 911 turbo AWD you would know the gt3 is actually slower than a 911 turbo all day and at every track. just pay attention to how keiichi tsuchiya drives the Porsche after the race. 911 turbo should of been closer to the GTR instead of the lamborghini since I Believe the superleggera is RWD and not AWD. the GTR was still going to win since thats why its built for. to embarrass everyone.
Best Motoring was a very precious show where all the cars raced fairly, although some drivers were better at driving certain cars. Porsche is of course fast, but it is more famous for its constant and stable performance.

Aside from this one here with the turbo letting GT-R pass, one comes to mind with the dark colored murcielago where he shifted at like 6000 rpm and waited to floor it all the time to let the NSX-r of all cars catch up IIRC. Or there was one where they raced older cars and the guy in the porsche waited in the last lap for the rx7 or maybe it was Silvia s15 or sth. I would remember many more if I thought about it. They do cheat but they still had often great races racing factory cars like no other reviewing house/automotive journalists do and you still get some sense how fast cars are compared to each other..

They really should not have shown the pedals for ex. in the turbo because its too obvious how the guy in an awd porsche turbo waits before flooring it in corner (or gt3) until the GT_R comes and how he doesnt even bother to utilize the width of the track. I wonder whether they get told/paid to do it or is it just such strong patriotism.
It's best motoring. Normally Honda or the japanese brands win. There are other videos were you can clearly see that game is sometimes rigged. They also like to give the japanese cars better tires then the competition. But i still love best motoring espeically the touge battles.
best motoring is biased sometimes.if you see the year it was the year that the gtr was launched and they had to make it look good or they paid to do so .in other videos over the years gtrs lose to other cars so we can say that it was a bit biased to push the sales of the new japanese car but best motoring even with that is the best show for cars

Everyone knows that a Lambo would not survive 3 laps, the breaks won’t live through it unless they get 10min to cool down. Anyways, love this show and much respect to Japanese engineering, but give Walter Röhrl the GT 3 and these lap times would look very different....

NSX sound so like a racing car. GT-R is more normal and to grip. NSX's more fun to drive. I'm sure... Gallardo has good Downshift sound. But performance does not so racing like. Porsche has good brakes and the mid-ding. But the NSX sound is more race car. I would say a 911 is always good. but Honda has with NSX bit the better car.

今、改めて観て思うのはデビュー時点ですでに35が速かったってことが如何に凄かったかって話だよね。
800万円を切る車がベンチマークしてた911turboに完勝して格上のガヤルドに惜敗って誰も文句が付けられないでしょ。なんだかんだ言われながらもデビュー時から速かったという事実と、32〜34のGTーRの正当な後継車種と納得させられるフォルムとコンセプトと速さ。これは本当に凄い事だったなと。
初代とは何の関連性も感じさせない新型で残念な結果しか残せなかったNSXとは大違いだよ。
あとカルロス・ゴーン。彼がいなかったらこの35は絶対に存在しなかっただろうね。日本人社長だったら作りもしなかっただろうし、作ったとしても新型NSXみたいな車になってたろうな。

Why did the 996 GT3 do better against the NSX-R at Tsukuba than the 997 GT3 did?
Because 911 turbo has a lot of turbo lag, this track sucks for it´s engine, and GT3 is lighter and more agile, perfect for this track.

NSXは軽さとレイアウトで勝ってたんですかね…馬力は直線少ないですしコーナリングで稼げれば勝てそうですね。ターボは低回転数、低トルクの域ではあまり効果がないのではと…。
その設定の有無は良く知りませんがガヤルドSLと条件を合わせるためだと…。

hato ssavure 多分軽さと空力ですよね。いくらターボが低回転が比較的弱いと言っても3.2LNA高回転egよりは低速トルクあると思いますし。さて、この勝負GT2が顔を出したらどうなるんだろうね。
タイヤの違いが大きいです。
外車勢は燃費タイヤとスポーツタイヤの中間みたいなクラスのラジアルを履くのが多いんですが、日本の一部スポーツカーはSタイヤに近いコンパウンドのラジアルを履くのでコーナーが段違いになるんですよ。
