Lan evo is the most impressive for me. Despite it design from a sedan not a pure sport car like nsx or rx7. Every car have its own advantage short track, faster track, gt long distance, horse ride, boat ride.
I come back to these videos every few years to drink Americans tears and read "wHy nO sUpRa RaCiNg?" All while they're in complete belief that supras are 1000hp stock and a top handling sports car. Sorry it's not a sports car guys, it's a tourer with tiny brakes from the celica and closer to 2 tons.
@@mrkazman Yea this is a stock vs stock battle. It's the same reason why some cars like the s2000 and the integra type R fell behind. Honda used thin tyres on these cars.

The overhyped r34 gtr can’t even keep pace with an rx7 or evo, only fast when people modify them
really isn't suited for tsukuba, it's too heavy for the low speed hairpins. if this was done at fuji or sugo it would be on the same pace.
wasn't it keeping the same distance all the way but with a distance, from what i saw the top 4 cars where performing very similarity.

There were a few Tsukuba battles where that same Skyline was running at the same pace or faster than that same RX-7.

Nsx lost its pace with break fade and on 15th lap or so it started clocking 1:09 Wich is about 2 seconds a lap slower then first 10 laps.

Thus endurance battle was all about the driver. The car obviously mattered somewhat but it all depends on the driver. Dk is just too good

RX7 is super cheap in comparison with the nsx like 2.5 less, I was not aware of that. Best bang for the buck (I don't like the 4x4 sedans).
Rx7 is some very unreliable trash compared with Nsx. And significantly slower . Won this because is much lighter and didn't stressed the tires as much
