The tension sure is ramping up for the Season 4 Finale as we get to visit John Locke at many different points in his life. On the island, Locke is desperate to save the island in any way he can. Join us once again as a long-time theory from the couch gang is finally proven true!
That scene with Ben and Hurley is just perfect. No words, but captures each character so well. Hurley being generous and sweet and Ben being surprised at being shown even insignificant kindness.
16:33 I remember when I first heard this line. "He wants us to move the island". I fell out of my chair laughing. I always cite this scene as the moment the show lost its mind. lol
omg cant believe we are getting to the end of season 4!!! this ep is so creepy and intense! you can clearly feel the writers werent holding back anymore at this point of the run
What is it with lost reactions where someone in the comments HAS to list the imdb credits? I support it as a writer but what is going on here? Every reaction I see some dude listing the writers or sawyers nicknames every time 🤷🏼♂️. Damon & Carleton is that you?
The Claire smirk was so creepy. I hope David in the next episode showed them the extended scene of the Oceanic Six panel when Jack mentioned eight originally survived. Boone, Libby and Charlie.
Ah men... the music! So good! And John Locke... what a sad life that man has lived.. Very intense episode! Really loving Lapidus at this point in the show.
i dont know why but somehow richard in the hospital reminds me of the G-Man from the Half Life Games.. XD Just standing there ominous in the background lol.. XD
The cabin has cabin fever. It’s restless, can’t stay in one place and lonely, sending out requests for company. Maybe because Horace is in a loop of cutting down the tree, the cabin is in a loop of not existing and being built. John has to find Horace in the present to solidify where the cabin is, sort of like what Desmond had to do with his constant.
Just realized...Horace said he'd been dead for 12 years. Rousseau came to the island 16 years ago. Meaning the Dharma Initiative was still around when Rousseau got there...?
It is obvious that John got rejected by Richard because he drew the smoke monster and a picked the knife. Or was it because he didn't recognize the compass belonged to him. Richard seemed disturbed by the smoke monster drawing. And picking the weapon over the compass was the last straw. He seemed to know Locke was bad news after that. But when Locke became an adult, Richard seemed to like him suddenly. I'm confused about that.
@@qwertymanor Well, on its own, picking the knife doesn't mean much but considering that he is also drawing the smoke monster at an early age is not a good sign for John. In any case, Richard seems visibly upset at what he saw.
This is the first of two defining episodes for John. We saw him for 4 season, thinking he's special. We now know that he isn't. He's as lost as any other person on the island.

So good, and so prophetic.
Ben and John's mothers were both named Emily, and Ben and John were both born prematurely.
I love this detail so much. I forgot to mention it to them
And they both were asked to kill their father to become The Others' leader. One did it himself, the other got help to do it :)
Emilys are just cursed ig lmao
Richard Alpert is so creepy and mysterious, but you gotta love him!

@@bigpictureguys8415 they don't HAVE to do anything. Though they probably enjoy doing it. And we can respect that, and be nice.
@Jerome Dutil Martin I'm glad you add this info. With Lost having so many writers, it's informative.
Master Yoda

This episode is soooo good. Love the Ben/Hurley scene also.
One of my favorite episodes
I am so happy that the ending didn't break you guys, that you kinda called it or expected it given the clues sown throughout the show so far.
Yeah, I was kind of worried, but they took to it right away!
FYI on DVD commentary, the test Richard Alpert gives Locke was similar to a Panchen Lama choosing the next Dalai Lama, who is supposedly reincarnated.
Talk about foreshadowing for a couple of scenes
Claire has the most obscure store arc of any character in the show.

I’ve never played those games, but have always wanted to
13:13 Fun fact, I think I used to own that guitar tuner he has strapped to his arm 🤣
😆
Oh Richard moment, I love these!
I love you guys. I look forward to every one of these reactions from y'all.
Thanks, Tresham1!
Those two men on the boat looking exactly the same took me out for a few minutes while watching this video 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Wait, what part?

Love this channel so much. And of course all the bonus content on your patreon. So much fun!
Season 4 is really good!!! Have you all already seen the season 3 bloopers??
Yes! We react to bloopers on our Patreon!
John had a dream in which there was an image from Benjamin's past, just as he had a dream with images from Mr. Eco's past.
Woah, I’ve never made that connection!
Horace! Oh man, I just love the thought of Horace.
Eli Roth’s “Cabin Fever” )0))
Nester Carbonell (Richard) doesn't wear eye liner. He actually has make up to conceal and tone down the natural look of his eyes.
Locke origin episode, Love it. #28 on my List
Just realized...Horace said he'd been dead for 12 years. Rousseau came to the island 16 years ago. Meaning the Dharma Initiative was still around when Rousseau got there...?
That’s an interesting thought… I think there is some debate around what year the purge took place
I love the Mr Abadabe? theory of him being Jacob
Same. I remember thinking the same thing on my first watch
Claire’s best scene
I think Michael admitted to telling Ben to the mercenary guy because he wants to die
If you hate the villain in this show, you will hate him even more in "3:10 to Yuma" starring Christian Bale.

Why would that mean Locke is bad?

what is up to these people covering their faces?
