Loving your videos. This might be a daft question, but, I've got a light switch right next to a place that I want a socket. Could I use the wires from the light switch or is it unsafe to do so?

Hi, unfortunately you can't. The power rating of the circuit/cables will not be big enough to take the load of the socket.
