The purpose of my channel is to document my cancer journey to look back on, and/or help anyone else going through anything similar. It is also to potentially help loved ones supporting those who are in this fight as well. This is also an easy way to update a lot of people at once. My main goal is to have footage of this journey for my husband and children to look back on. I originally created this channel as a sort of video diary for my
    family.
Thank you so much for following along on this journey. Your love and support help me so much.

I totally get it! This journey is not a walk in the park. I also had a very scary cancer journey. We were hit and Miss for a year. I had an aggressive form of Leukemia that led to a bone marrow transplant..all while my 3 boys were still in school. My team was amazing and reached out to a university hospital to help me. I also wrote the letters… that was just mentally draining. My goal was to see my oldest son graduate. That was 25 years ago! I now have 7 grandchildren and have been to their weddings! God is with you, Jenny! One day at a time..sometimes just one hour at a time.. I am praying for you! 🙏🏻✝️🙏🏻

We hate cancer too. It is a terrifying, insidious disease.
My 4 year old nephew Avery has never known anything but pain, hospitals, surgeries, chemo and radiation.
He was diagnosed at 10 months but it’s an embryonal cancer, he had it before he was even born.
Our little guy can’t relapse again…a body can only have so much chemo & so much radiation in a lifetime.
Many people don’t realize that. You can’t revisit the meds that helped before you relapsed.
You guys aren’t alone. We know your fears & we are praying for you♥️

I have had really bad times in my life my wife and I thought several times that maybe I wouldn't make it. I know about planning for the future you may not be in. I am still here, still fighting married for 34 years. I put this Bible verse on my all of my refrigerators over the years. It's PLALMS 118 "" I SHALL NOT DIE, BUT LIVE AND DECLARE THE WORKS OF THE LORD"" This has definitely helped me I see it every morning and I DECLARE it over my life! Maybe this will help you also. Stay strong and never, never, never, never stop fighting, as long as you have breath than you can fight.

I’ve participated in multidisciplinary rounds. I really think that honesty is a prerequisite for oncologists. If your MD says your good, at the moment then go with it. We were so fortunate when my mother had her parotid malignant cancer. I seriously doubt we would have made it to the end of radiation if it hadn't been for mum's oncologist, which brought my mother an additional ten years of life with me. Her Oncologist was literally available 24/7 to me. Giving pain relief advice at midnight with orders if the pain hadn't been relieved in two hour, to go straight into the Oncology Ward at the hospital, he would meet us there. Leaving prescriptions for us at the hospital. The list went on for months.
He had been calling me prior to her treatment enforcing the necessity of treating her cancer because her pain would have been horrendous until her death. Being Head and Neck cancer she not only had a six plus hour surgery, teeth removal prior to radiation and finally her 33 daily radiation treatments. It was so hard. It would have been so much better if her Doctors had listen to me when I started pointing out my mother's swollen side of her face, four years prior.
Unfortunately cancer affects the whole family. I just hope other cancer patients have wonderful Oncologists like my mother did. I am positive it had returned when she died at 88. She wouldn't go through anymore treatment so she stopped telling me about her pain. I still knew because I knew what pain meds she was needing daily. Cancer us hideous. It's cruel and often treatment doesn't seem like it is all worthwhile going through the treatment.

I like you and respect very much how you decide to share your cancer journey. The honesty, clarity, no exaggeration. Just the plain honesty is so refreshing and human. I'm so disappointed to see a couple of cancer vloggers using their channels to "spice" and mislead about their diagnosis and treatments. Exaggerating the reactions and using pity to profit or just to "chase clout", which people nowadays loves to have, yes, even if they have cancer. I always say that being ill does not equal being good and people tend to assume cancer patients are God, nah!!! Not at all. Evil comes in all shapes.
That's why I appreciate your channel. You're a good, real and decent person sharing her struggle. Please continue and thank you because I'm learning about family life & marriage with you. Plus (this is my edit) you transmit so much peace with your voice. 😄❤

You have every right to cry and let it out whenever you need to. It’s good to actually get it out. I think about you guys all the time and only wish the best for you. I hate to see you in pain. Kyle you’re an awesome husband and you’re both amazing parents. Sending love and hope from Canada 🇨🇦

Hi Jenny. Sometimes after few sessions of therapy we feel we don’t need it anymore but I think we have to continue. I realised that, I thought I was doing well on my own but the therapist really gives you coping strategies. It’s not easy going through cancer. It’s so difficult 😢. We keep fighting. Lots of love ❤

Jenny, my heart breaks for you. I have cancer, but am NED now. I also am 68 years old, so I have lived my life and am not afraid of death, but I think about my older daughters and grandchildren not having me in their lives. You're being a Mom of young children is even harder. You have every right to have all of the feelings you're dealing with. You're a strong, loving woman, who doesn't deserve what you are dealing with. Hugs and love to you, Kyle and family. Congratulations that you were approved. 💕🙋✌🙂

You already had enough to contend with as soon as you were diagnosed but from one woman to another the constant period is really debilitating. For me it was endometriosis but still that near constant bleed, for you it's messing with your body and also your mind. You are so entitled to feel down and absolutely fed up with it all, we love you so much laughing or crying. X

Jenny, you will be there for all your kiddo moments. Either way. I'm 40 yrs old and lost mom to cancer at 33. And sometimes, she is more near than when she was here in the physical. When mom and I looked up near death experiences, that was our game changer. You both are a younger version of my dad and mom. They love truly, in love, like you both. My uncle Dan once said, " we are only passing through here." It's all true. Big hug, sweet peas. In our family prayers. All is well.

I like that you shared about your friend dying, and I thought your doctor’s response was golden! I don’t have cancer, but in any health condition having an honest, open doctor is crucial. I’m happy for you, that you have that.
I’m also so happy you’ll be getting back into counseling. I go to counseling myself. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
