I watched this last episode a couple months ago. I have never flowen a helicopter in my life. Watched a lot more RUclips clips and thought I was ready. No I wasn't. I crashed every time I took off. I found out they are identical and watch RUclips clips on the C186. I couldn't control mine in the house, kept crashing. There is one BIG difference between E120 and C186. The E120 has Optical Flow and C186 does not. There is a plug-in the receiver for one. And it is identically the same receiver PCB. Brian, you are so right about this helicopter, E120, It's awesome to to fly in the house without disturbing things on the wall and accidentally chasing one of my wife's cats to basement when it crashed into the wall that leads downstairs. I love her cats, (2) they are very nice and they do a lot of funny antics even when being chased downstairs by a falling helicopter.
I have one of these. The light should stay solid until the battery gets low and then it blinks when it gets low on power. You can also start it by pressing down and out on both sticks,. You can also calibrate it by pressing down and left on the sticks. I go t a little bored with it but my wife likes it. She can fly it !! too easy for me.

The direction of rotation of a real Bo105 is counterclockwise. So here on the e120 the rotation is opposite of the rotation of the helicopter it models.
I bought mine from Amazon instead. Same thing but I notice that it doesn't have the sensor on the bottom. Should that matter? I have flown it 2x and ready to send it back. I'm a drone guy. This is drifting on me to the right. I don't get the trim function on how it works. Suggestions??
With you in the video he is almost standing and holding the height. Mine it immediately goes up and drifts backwards, without wind in the apartment. do you maybe know what could be the reason and what to do? Thanks for one answer.
It's been just long enough I can't recall if there were trimmers on the sticks to help adjust that. If you still have the manual, and it'll be a chore, there MAY be a calibration. These heli's are a blast to play with, but the cheaper ones (like this one) sometimes don't come with all the features of the more pricey ones. Sorry I can't help you on this one
Thanks for the info, of course I looked at the instructions, but they are very bad, there are also buttons mentioned that don't even exist with the designation sharp stop in 3“ :-) Thanks for the answer
Forget the cheap AA alkaline batteries and switch to rechargeable AA's. Those are way more economical and better for environment! NiMH batteries has lower voltage, but I haven't had any problems with them. Greetings from Finland! 😁
Could it be bound to the E6 transmitter that they sell with Blackhawk? It would be nicer to be more controllable because with the stock transmitter doesn’t respond well to slow stick movements…
Just received my Eachine E120 RTF, read the directions, charged the batteries, installed the batteries in the transmitter, bound and lift off in my living room "Which is quite large",hoovered perfect no trim needed, only complaint is the slow stick input, you have to move the sticks quite a ways before the E120 reacts. There is no Aileron, when I give it right stick to go sideways right or left it wants to toilet bowl effect in that direction, other than a good hoover, flying is very sloppy and unpredictable.

Well, I did it. I went and bought this thing and it arrived today. I did fly by wire and "free flight" back when I was a kid in the mid to late 60's. I wasn't particularly good at fly by wire then but I bought a SNJ Navy trainer for my son in the early 90's and found I was much better at it than before. I sucked at the helicopter which doesn't make sense except that I was flying it inside near the Christmas tree. (Bad Idea) Well, I saved momma's expensive porcelain ornaments but in my overzealousness I managed to hit the mantle over the fireplace. I can no longer see the white LED because it got shoved up inside the outer shell and I can't seem to fish it out and return it to it's proper mounting hole. I was able to snap the fuselage back together and do a short test flight. (Tested OK by the way) Anyway just thought you'd get a kick out of an old timer getting his feet wet again. Happy New Year!
The lights were flashing because you were low on battery. They don't flash when you start with a fully charged battery. That's how my Eachine version works. It will start slow flashing when you get down to one solid battery level light left and then they will start fast flashing when the last battery light starts to flash. I get a much longer warning than you did, though. At least 30 seconds.
@@BrianPhillipsRC You didn't. But, you also didn't know that was why the lights were flashing. Oh well, you'll probably never fly it again anyway. It's cool, but it gets boring way fast.
No, you don't need to register this heli, since it's well under the 250 grams, and it's also capable of flying INSIDE, which means you can just tell them to hover off ;)
I had one in the box that I was afraid to fly until putting more hours into the sim but this video got me curious so I popped a battery in it and setup my NX8. For starters, there is no preset model. You have to configure it as per the manual or Brian’s video. It does not fly as easy as this 120. I kept giving it some throttle, hovering 6-12 inches and trimming it out. Eventually it was almost practically hovering in place with little adjustment. However, it in no way flies on its own hands off like this 120. With that being said, I was able to fly it around a little bit with only a few hours on the sim and SAFE mode engaged.
No, but you can actually fly the Blade InFusion. It's a "REAL" hobby-grade heli. This amazing, but still essentially "toy grade" RC heli is a scale looker, with easy to fly setup...you can't even turn off the auto-leveling stabilizer, so it's not ever going to rank as high as the InFusion 180, or similar.
@@BrianPhillipsRC That makes sense. Thanks for the reply. I want to actually fly the thing so i'll just keep practicing in the sim and repairing my InFusion.
Searched for your video on the E110, wanted to leave this note there, but couldn't find it, did you delete it?! Anyway was wondering if you had looked further into the features of the 110 after your original review? While in the APP operation there is the button on the right called gravity/Gyro the picture looks like the little Gyro toy from our childhood. Allows you to fly it by just tilting the phone L, R, U, & Down! The throttle is the left stick on the screen. Just thought I'd mention it if you had missed it? Got mine last week, yes ordered it through your link from BG. Charlie
Completely wrong type of aircraft, but, when I fly my Carbon Cub S2 it takes forever to turn with Beginner and Safe, I don’t have a lot of room, should I try intermediate or do I just have to get used to it and make sure I have room to turn? Love your videos!
I would just get up HIGHER, then you can make the turns... when you're ready, get out of SAFE, and use AS3X only ;) This all takes time, don't beat yourself up. It's just part of the process. Keep at it Gannon!
This one is reasonable, but we don't keep track of the prices, there's a link for you at the top of the video that will take you to the item. You can check it out, and if you decide to buy one, or something else, you'll be supporting us. Thanks John! E120 bit.ly/3OOmlOi (
@@BrianPhillipsRC *EDIT* I got some information about the auto takeoff and was told that you don't need to do it that way. You push both sticks down and out. This should start the rotors to spin and you can takoff by yourself than but i cant verify that without having the helicopter :D I have seen you have the blue E145 in your amazing collection, is it possible to take this one into the air just by adding power? My only RC helicopter is a Blade 70S and i look for something close to that but with a more realistic look :D Thanks for your answer and your amazing content btw :)
Asking for advice, I just bought this product but when I try to fly it, it always flies backwards and goes to the right, even though it's trimmed..what should I do? Thank you
Check for air currents. Take off from the OTHER SIDE of the room, and see what happens. If this doesn't change anything, you can try to re calibrate the gyro...this is in the manual, but think we covered it. I believe there's a way to adjust this, but since we didn't run into the specific issue, we didn't mess with it.
I've tried to fly it several times, both indoors and outdoors, the result is still the same flight, always tilts and backwards and crashed for the result..anyway, thank you for the replied my comment..highly appreciate
Troxous. - Here's the link for our Affiliate Stuff, and the link for the video... Troxus bit.ly/3DuY2jf ruclips.net/video/FD0xgZybfLc/видео.html ...PS we still use it almost daily, and RARELY charge it...there's TWO batteries! We didn't even realize it at the time we reviewed it. GREAT TOOL for us! Love riding it. One last thing...one day a Huey was emergency landing across the street (I know crazy)...but it was awesome...I jumped on the thing in my socks and rode down the wet street about 1/4 mile and made sure they hadn't crashed. Guess they got fogged out and were forced to land. So cool! Woke the whole family up!!
It sure seems just fine indoors or you got a good one. I've watched several other vids where pilots were having issues with position hold outdoors. But to be fair that could have just been too much wind despite it being quite calm? idk, but you should head outside and compare it just to see if it's more likely unable to handle wind or the others have had bum units with poor correction.
This heli would be a weak platform outside, unless it's calmer. The limits of the "Easy to fly" would be reached and exceeded out in 5-10 mph for sure.
So why haven't you gone over to rechargable AA's and AAA's I went over to Uniross charger and batteries, as only two of my transmitters have rechareble so the other fifteen plus transmitters that use AA's now use them and means that I only need fifteen rechargable max.
@@theoztreecrasher2647 I have a Spektrum DX6R a couple of DX5's been thinking of getting my drones all on one transmitter but if friends want to borrow or and use some of my different vehicles means they could not if all on one or two transmitters and re-chargable batteries are a lot cheaper than a couple of multi protocol radios.
Or just buy like 43,000 for $3.99 from Harbor Freight Tools.com - LOL ;) JK - I'd get the rechargeable, but we just have about 30-40 of these little Tx'es...too many to keep up with. YES, I know I could use a Multi Protocol Radio, but I got tired of trying to find protocols after about the first 6-7 I tried with mixed results.
@@BrianPhillipsRC thank Bro for your explanation, and as long as you follow the channel you always present the rc plane clearly. How much is your airplane collection, friend?
I love the first few vids when you built the f22 profile jet but you channel has turnd into a unboxing and reviews its nice once in a while i like to see things built so me and my children can have something in the winter to do together thought maybe it would be great if you built a airtronic QTEE or eQTEE and what you have to do to tweek it and the electronic guts and how small you can go on motor size it can be a whole series me and my kids are going to build one this winter and convert it to electric ther are small forms all over about it and one decent build vid but most things are vague on electric conversion
I miss back in the day walking in the house and that glorious smell from building balsa planes then seeing the final product while loading up and going to the field with other builders and a whole day event just incredibly awsome loved it all and miss it all

@@BrianPhillipsRC You didn't. But, you also didn't know that was why the lights were flashing. Oh well, you'll probably never fly it again anyway. It's cool, but it gets boring way fast.
Brian, I ordered my eachine E120, could not resist, nice video.
Good choice! Very fun!!!!!
Is it brushless?
theoztreecrasher - LOL LOL LOL
Daytime ,Weather permitting & Camera Crew on the controls most definetly & don bee injur, ok .
ok ;)
Have a wolfair?
Was that a citation X or longitude? I’d love to see more of that!

Might have been this one... J65 bit.ly/3EpgpoR ;)
Very very cool! The only thing is, now I have to buy one! Does this aircraft need to be registered under part 107
No, you don't need to register this heli, since it's well under the 250 grams, and it's also capable of flying INSIDE, which means you can just tell them to hover off ;)
Have the newest one ordered
Most wonderful 🤠
Will the Blade InFusion 180 fly as easily as this?

What is A Blade ?
Blade is an RC helicopter brand from Horizon Hobby.
I have my eyes on that and will probably purchase that when I get paid, or when it gets back in stock...
Thanks!
@@BrianPhillipsRC thank you! I have always flown low, so I’m trying to get more comfortable flying higher, thank you!!!!
I invested in a 20 pack of energizer rechargeable AA. Way worth it
Hey Brian, I'd like to suggest a video-- how to set up a buddy box setup with spektrum radios.
We'll look into this, thanks Todd!
based on the bo 105 just to let you know Brien
Thanks! I figured this out just AFTER we filmed - LOL - I knew it, but didn't know the NAME ;( OOPs ;)
How much is it
This one is reasonable, but we don't keep track of the prices, there's a link for you at the top of the video that will take you to the item. You can check it out, and if you decide to buy one, or something else, you'll be supporting us. Thanks John!

Did i get that right? You can just takeoff with the "one touch takeoff"?
yes - crazy right!?!?
@@BrianPhillipsRC *EDIT* I got some information about the auto takeoff and was told that you don't need to do it that way. You push both sticks down and out. This should start the rotors to spin and you can takoff by yourself than but i cant verify that without having the helicopter :D
I have seen you have the blue E145 in your amazing collection, is it possible to take this one into the air just by adding power?
Hey from the UK! I'm trying to decide on this or the K123 heli. What would your vote be?
I love this one, since it's so easy to fly, but I also have love the K123 (we also did that one too) - both great!
Totally unrelated but but what was the name of that electric scooter you showcased some time ago thinking about buying one..

...PS we still use it almost daily, and RARELY charge it...there's TWO batteries!
I have this same heli,it does not fly like this, mine is more sloppy, harder to control, but it does hoover very well, only flown indoors.
Is there any way to set this up with a Radiomaster TX16S?
Should be fine doing it.
I ordered the same one. but when I take off. in my home. it does not hold position like that :( and I don't know why :(
So why haven't you gone over to rechargable AA's and AAA's I went over to Uniross charger and batteries, as only two of my transmitters have rechareble so the other fifteen plus transmitters that use AA's now use them and means that I only need fifteen rechargable max.
@@theoztreecrasher2647 But it is about the Bling and the capability not whether you use it but that it is there in case you do LOL
U should build a scale airport for all these in scale micros....G8 vidieo..Vintage Brian Philip video style.
Waow,.....nice heli friend, how long can you fly
This one flies for about 10+ minutes, if I remember right. We don't always wait for full charge to test them, since we're impatient ;)
Sorry to disappoint.
I miss back in the day walking in the house and that glorious smell from building balsa planes then seeing the final product while loading up and going to the field with other builders and a whole day event just incredibly awsome loved it all and miss it all
I would like this heli but if you have any problems with it upon receiving you are seriously out of luck with Banggood. May take a chance anyway.
They could use some work on their service after the sale, admittedly.
nice sir 🙏🏻🙏🏻
i have it realy cool model stable
I have not bought AAA\AA batteries in 7 years. I bought a dozen of Eneloop Pro and a good Battery charger...As they the highest capacity..
And Judging from the parts. both motors are brush-less...Like $10.00 for both of them...
Nice!
