This watch has arrived in my hands and I don't regret buying this watch at all. Honestly, this is the best watch I've ever owned. The first positive impression when I saw and wore this watch is that the design is very good and it fits my hand very well because the size is not too big but not too small either. Then my first negative impression was that it took me quite a while to look at this clock because the numerals on the watch were dark too. however, when I use it longer, I don't think this is too much of a problem because this watch has a light display.
That's what I love about it, too. It's a great size and looks so nice! The numbers can be hard to see in certain conditions, but the light takes care of that as you say. One could always get the positive display version... but then you give up some of the awesome looks! Good to have choices. Thanks for your comment!
Thanks for the review. The GA2110ET-8A is definitely on my radar, but I'm having difficulty justifying it in light of already having the GA-800-1A which has a similar look but a more legible digital screen. The thinner profile is definitely attractive to me, though.
GA-800-1A is a sweet model. I’m loving the gray color scheme of the GA2110ET-8A too though. Seems different enough to justify, but then again, I’m an enabler. :)
Have this watch and absolutely love it.. the triple black look, tough as any other gshock and the octagon bezel give such a retro look you can wear it daily and smart wear. I definitely recommend owning this watch you won't be disappointed. iMO if Batman had a watch this would be it
Is possible to source a shorter version of the straps, the exact same look just shorter? Elegant watch, but would be perfect if the straps weren’t sticking up at the side.
To be honest, I'm not really sure. I've heard that the 5600 straps are compatible but you'd have to check to see if they are shorter. I know there's a combi bracelet, too... again, double check to be sure it's compatible but those are highly adjustable. The last thing I'd suggest is checking out this thread at watchuseek (www.watchuseek.com/threads/solution-for-strap-overhang.4497583/ ) because there are people talking about cutting their resin straps in a way that looks pretty good from my initial research. Good luck!
I wish - it would really elevate the watch. I've heard of a vendor doing custom work to add lume, but I'm not taking the time or money to mess with that...
Yes! The series is called GA-B2100 and it adds tough solar and bluetooth. A bit more expensive but might be worth it if you want those features! amzn.to/3zi5kW1
It would definitely not be too big. Whether or not it's too small would be a personal opinion. My wrist is 6.75 and I thought it fit well. Yours is a little bigger... so maybe you'd find it a tad too small?
My wife just bought one of these in red and I literally don't understand how anyone finds it usuable nevermind good. The writing is tiny and the analog hands get in the way of the digital display. Are people who enjoy this watch just prioritizing fashion over use? As a gadget obsessed guy, I honestly don't understand.
Hey, thanks for this comment and it's a great point. A person can buy a watch for many reasons. Fashion, appreciation of the mechanical aspect, pure function, etc. This watch is for someone who wants an unbreakably tough, easy to tell time, and super cool looking watch. Someone who wants to appreciate a piece of fine machinery might get an automatic/mechanical watch. Military history, maybe a Hamilton hand-wind mechanical. How many people with dive watches are actually going diving? It's all about your priorities. Buy what you like and have fun! :)
Is this the best looking G-Shock in your opinion?
Thanks this pushed me over the edge on buying this watch
Its gonna arrive tomorrow , i'm soo exited lol ,loved your review
Hope you enjoy it!
my comes tommorow , can't wait. Love the look of this watch. In times of smartwatches i choose to go for g-shock
Hope you're enjoying the watch!
@@gatorreviews i've got GST-b400-1a and i like it better
@@velko2433 yeah, that’s a nice upgrade! Thanks for the update
Got mine today. Got the black and blue/purple one. Just great.
That one looks awesome!

Love the stealth look! I own it and love ❤️ it!
It's so good!
Great video, very interesting. You can identify the GA-2100's manufacturing date through the serial number engraved on the back cover.
Very cool! Thanks for the tip.
Top top watch.. love it!!!!

Haha, for sure! It belongs in everyone's collection... Batman included!

In the commercial it looks like the indices are lumed. But I guess not

Bought them 3 days ago, already have a scratch on them. I like this watch vm, but toughness is not so good.
Sorry to hear that - first scratch is always the hardest. Scratch or no scratch, that watch will likely outlive you or me!
I don’t think it is sometimes referred to as the Royal Oak
You may be right. The Casioak for sure though. Thanks for the correction!
Nice bro
Is the crystal screen of the 2100 set as deep as the 5610?
Is this solar powered? Thank you
Nope, this one is battery powered.
Any alternatives in this design with solar powered battery?

@@gatorreviews okay dude, i will buy after giving a trail in offline store
Does it show the date?
Yep! Top digital window on the main display.
Hi there Is it battery operated or solar?
Thank you 🙏.
This model is battery operated. Gshock batteries have long life spans in my experience, though.
@@gatorreviews thank you my friend for the quick response much appreciated it 😃.
Do we have a 42 mm version right?
Yes, there is a mini version!
does 1a1 has automaticlight system??
No, it does not.
This is original
Thanks for watching!

Compass?
No compass on this model.
Timex is better. Indiglo > casio back light shite
Hahaha you funny 😆🤣
Indiglo is ok, I have 3 timex watches as well as 5600bb & 5610 solar. I’ll take my G Shocks all day
I like Timex and Casio. Solution - own both.
