2016 i bought this GA-100--watched & put your video into watchlist... Today, 6 years later. I changed the battery for the very first time & watch this again because my watch needs total setup. Thank for the video it really help. Instruction so clear.
I watched your video 3 years back to set it when i first got the watch. 3 years later, today when it ran out of battery and i got it changed it got reset and here i am again. Thanks ✌
Man, you have no idea how much I appreciate you making this video. You had me go from completely clueless to knowing everything this watch is capable of. Many many thanks!
My daughter from Overseas sent this watch on my birthday but the problem was nobody around knows how to adjust the time. Thanks for this video program, now finally I can adjust it myself after 3 years. I got to change 2 batteries inside.
I just changed the battery on this watch and the shop keeper didn't adjust the time. Good Sir, you have saved me so much stress and time. I really appreciate your help, thank you so much! 🙏
Got this watch as a gift 2 years ago and it hasn't left my wrist since. I even wear it with formal suits. 100% bulletproof. Now i'm putting the cash together for a G Shock MudMaster.
What a blessing this video has been. Most shops and places where these watches are sold have no idea at all how it works. This video taught me almost everything I wanted to know. Now I love my watch more. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Thank you so much for making this video I thought my watch was completely broken until you explained how to fix the hands. I have a brand new respect for my watch after watching all the features it has.
What a fantastic explanation of a great little - not so little really, watch. Just bought one but the shop had lost the manual. All I need now is a big enough magnifying glass so that I can read the tiny writing around the dials!
VERY informative!! Thanks for posting this. Owned mine for years & never knew lots of that. Sadly I lost the owner’s manual. I also recently had the battery die & after I replaced it, the hands were off. But thanks to you I got it all set correctly. I appreciate you sir.
Thank u so much bro.. such a detailed video.. Casio should send this video link as a tutorial manual when a watch is sold. Hats off for ur patience and clarity of voice.. still helps me with my old ga100.. best video for the best watch
Oh my god... im in a mental breakdown, burnout, getting some really needed rest and relaxation... and a thing was bugging me, oh so much... the stopwatch on my g shock was working and i had no clue how to switch it of... I was trying for days already, asking people on the street who are wearing a g-shock to if they had a clue how to do it... Nobody knew. I saw your video, tried the movements and it didnt work again, but the video showed it clearly how to... so definetly it was the forward button, right under, that didnt work... I unscrewed my watch, got the inside out, saw that the metal plate of the forward button was bended a bit... puched it with my screwdriver, it worked now... Got to switch of the stopwatch finally... Problem solved and some more mental rest. Thank you....
It's been 7 years since i got my Gshock, only just had to replace the battery and decided to learn what everything else actually does, this was very helpful. Thank you.
This is excellent. My friend's 7 year old daughter had been playing with my G-Shock and when I got it back from her she'd changed the date, cancelled Daylight Saving...many things really, but they were simple to fix. The watch however was no longer cynced with the digital and analogue each showing me very different times. I watched another 2 vidz before finding this - both were pretty frustrating, but your vid showed me how to do it with one viewing and in less than 30 seconds of adjustment. Top notch vid man - well done, and thank you.
@@entertainme7523 Are you assuming I KNEW that she was playing with my watch?😄- believe me if I had known she had found my watch which I'd removed while I was painting a kitchen, it would have been taken away from her. Thanks for teaching me about the H-Set, It's because I recently change my batteries to a new one today and I have forgotten how to set that part as well. Thanks!
Thanks for the very useful overview. I've had my G-Shock GA-100 since 2015. Best $100 I've ever spent. It's been through gardening, messy oil changes, dog bites, car washes, household cleaning and it's taken all sorts of brutal knocks. I had to disassemble it to remove the filth under the shroud, but still it cleans up nice and you need to look really close to see any damage. The backlight feature sucks, it's only a single LED which makes the digital screens invisible but I can deal with it. Definitely would buy another one on impulse.
I just got this watch and only knew basically how to set it. I'm actually amazed at all you showed how to do. I saved this video in my watchlist so I can go over it again when bored. Thank you
I am planning on buying a ga100 and I am so happy this video exists, it has quite some daunting features, it’s more complicated as it looks so a good tutorial like this will really be helpful to first of be able to use the watch and secondly to fall back on when I need a reminder, thank you 😊

Been about 4 years since I have mine and I'm still trying to figure it out to a point where I no longer need to watch tutorials like this...great video I was literally sitting with my watch copying everything you were doing!
This question comes up A LOT! The watch doesn't need to know the unit, YOU have to. It is YOU who input the distance, the watch just tells you the speed in distance PER HOUR. So the watch just need the NUMBER so it can calculate the speed which is again a NUMBER. Whether the speed is going to be MPH or KPH depends on what unit YOU used to measure the distance. So YOU need to know the unit of the distance as then speed will be in that unit per hour. If you still don't understand here's an example. Let's say you are going for a drive between New York and Washington, and let's say, for the sake of the argument that the distance between the 2 is 60 miles. If you want to know the average speed in MPH yo would input 60 as the distance. If you wanted that same trip in KPH, you would have to input that distance in KM, and 60 miles is roughly 100km, so in the watch, you would just change the NUMBER from 60 to 100, and the average speed calculated would be in KPH. I hope I managed to explain 😁

I've had this watch since 2010 and didn't know it could do all this...... I just set the time and date by guessing when I bought it and left it at that. I recently changed the battery (after it's been sat in a drawer for a few years) and had to do a hands reset. Thanks for a great video

Back again...bought a GMA-S110GD-2A, also has a speed estimator and the hands were off. Used the same steps at the end and was able to fix it. Difference is on the GMA-S110 the speed hand has to point to 9 o'clock, but everything else is the same! Thanks again!
Though I am not that geek at synchronisation but after watching this video...i mastered every detailed function I had in my Casio G shock A-100 functions...I have learned to set my alarms and Set my time's,run Timers and Turing on my automatic Light on mode which was pretty awesome....✨💯🙏😎
Sir Your video was definitely awesome 😎👍👍
After searching for so long I got my informative video which I learned a lot from your video🙏😎
I've had this watch since 2010 and didn't know it could do all this...... I just set the time and date by guessing when I bought it and left it at that. I recently changed the battery (after it's been sat in a drawer for a few years) and had to do a hands reset. Thanks for a great video
Love it !! Keep making videos never now when someone in the future will require this information I just did and I tha k yoi very much ! My 7A 100a did not have original manual and you're video helped me alot
Thanks for this great G Shock user manual, I just got the battery replaced after a long while not wearing the watch. You helped me a LOT to adjusting the watch and get it in sync, thanks!!
Thank you sir! I messed up the alignment after I changed my battery and thought my watch was done for! Appreciate it!
I love RUclips. I have had this watch for about 10 years and although I have studied the catalog front and back, yet I did not know every feature. Thanks a lot!
I had ga100 watch 8 years and still didn't know all things in it😆.. Thx, this was very helpful🙏
8 years and you still help me out.
Thank you sir greeting from Jordan 🇯🇴 .
I have been looking for hours through the manual, their website and many other videos but none actually explained anything. You Did! thank you so much!
im watching this vid 7 years later and it is so useful, thx
I've been using your video for the last 3 years, at every time change. Thanks for that. I AM getting quicker.
My favorite watch. And I own APs, Rolex, & FP Journe. Fun fact: you actually can speed up the hand correction mode for the hour/minute hands by holding the “D” button (lower, righthand button) for 3 seconds!
The best hands down. Thank you for this video . I’ve watched a few and no one is as descriptive and detailed as you sir.
I couldn't figure out the light, but watching your video now I have a light on my favorite G-Shock. Thanks bro.
