Casio g shocks are amazing. Literally relative pennies. Cool design and fantastic functionality. I've gone full circle after obsessing with autos etc. Lockdown and outdoor exercise really made me appreciate g shocks. Solar, bluetooth, mb6 and training stuff.... amazing brand. My f91w I swear is 20 years old and I've never changed the battery!!

Almost everyone, I think, had a Casio in her/his life. It is an easy gift beloved by any taste. I had mine of course. And it stays proudly in my collection close to the others Tissot, Maurice Lacroix and Certina, all automatic.

The new solar / bluetooth ones are even better. The solar charging is worth it on its own. Also the dials on these have a cool deep sunburst pattern, not just flat black plastic.
Agreed…just unboxed my full black and what a piece of kit it is and, like everyone says, a must for the collection. I spent £100 and I can assure you I have spent many times that on other pieces and been lest enthusiastic.
Solar watches have a shorter lifespan than traditional quartz watches
I just got a GA2100 in grey with the winter camo dial and its awesome. love it, brings back memories of childhood but it also has a very adult look to it as well.
I have walked over 50,000 miles wearing my g-shock over the last ten years. It’s never let me down except for a small split n the strap. My favourite Tissot is the pec it’s a classic watch.
Spot on review as always. Everyone needs a g shock in their life. Only experienced them over the last two years, and never looked back. Forgot the rest, go casio.

My Tissot is the Tissot PR100 T101.407.11.011.00 Asian Games edition.
White dial, red seconds hand. Love that it's familiar, yet unique!
Check out the GW-M5610U-1C (note the "U"). I got one from Sakura. I personally think it's the coolest g-shock square and it's fairly cheap. Just one nerd's opinion!

I love this model of Casio.
I own a total of 10 of these watches. Different colors. I love how they make this is numerous different colors. Such a sexy watch. Wouldnt trade it for the world.
I have 3 casio watches ae 1500wh and 2 of them started playing up after 2 months of using them.. One didn't survive being in the water for one hour without even me diving just standing in the water. Got steamy inside and stop working. Second one after 2 weeks of using without even putting it in the water screen becomes blank for few minutes don't know why.I thought this brand is so famous and make durable watches but my expirience says something diffened.Now I bought a g shock 2100 series and we will see how it goes.
You should review the new GA-B2100-1A1. Same all black but with tough solar and bluetooth
Bought the Casio oak under £99 on sale a couple years ago cant go wrong!

My favorite Tissot watch was the Tissot Heritage Vissodate automatic but got stolen recently so now its the PRX 35mm quartz Gold 😎
Thanks for doing this vid, I've been a fan of G-Shocks for a while and I wear one every day (usually the DW5600BB-1 - I've got really skinny wrists so I can't wear the huge chunky ones). Also love the montage of old Casio ads at the end.
As for Tissot, I definitely like the PRX best - such a clean and classic, simple design. I'm not sure about automatic vs quartz though, probably automatic as I like the grid.
Just bought a prx 40mm and I can't stop wearing it and looking at it PURE CLASS 10/10 prx>royal oak :D

Tissot isn't a brand I know much about but I like the look of the PRX 40mm quartz blue dial.
I've just received a green Casioak for Christmas I like it. Agreed Casio make a fantastic range of quality watches.

Great to see you giving the G-Shock some loving Harrison! Watches don't have to be thousands to be desirable and in all fairness most G-Shocks do more than these premium watches can do anyway! I've my Omega Seamaster Co-Axial 2220.80.00 and yet my G-Shock G-squad Gbd-h1000 has way more functions and features where as my Omega just tells the date and time! I know people knock the ‘disposable’ movement but I love my Tissot Swissmatic V8 which I think is a very underrated model - Swiss made, 70+ hrs power reserve & sapphire glass for £240 (brand new with discount) which is an absolute bargain!

I can only afford one watch and recently bought a G shock GA 2100 FR. I also have a Casio fx-82AU plus, the best small scientific calculator. In the last 10 years I have wasted hundreds of dollars on watches that failed in my wet climate. Hopefully this time...
Has to be the PRX powermatic 80 with the blue dial, the classic look is 👌🏻. Loving the CasiOak feature, I actually bought the stealth from Chisholm Hunter!

Kikuo Ibe did not pick up his dad's watch and dropped it on purpose in order to come out with what is now the Gshock. The watch that he broke was a gift from his father. He only then dropped it by accident while he was on he's way to work. you facts were a little misleading.

G-SHOCK are the best. I have model GM 2100N blue and as a everyday watch is amazing.

Wow Harrison, enthusiastic review. I recently bought the yellow solar Casioak, my first G Shock. Its spending more time on my wrist than Mt Omegas! The Lume is not Super Luminova, it's Cssio's brand, Neobrite apparently.
Never had one. Almost bought the Rubik's Cube one, but eventually passed.
Very easy choice, the Tissot Gentleman Powermatic with the green dial with white cross. There is no other watch comparable with it.

Tissot heritage 1948 on mesh bracelet is the watch I really like. Its a do it all watch for me.
My favourite Tissot would have to be the Bridgeport chrono, 2 tone, killer of a watch and screams classy/dressy.
Although I do I like the look of the PRX Chronos!

I love the Tissot T-Complication Squelette, the first time i saw it i fell in love with it and i know that i had to get it.
I'm going to go with a different Tissot than usual, my favorite one (I own one and absolutely love it) is the T-Complication Squelette mechanical.

Biggest surprise watch purchase for me in years. Very happy with the GA2100, I have the navy/grey version. I wear it more than expected. Regarding Tissot, current favorite is the Gentleman Powermatic 80.
