I had the great pleasure of seeing Billy Strings live for the first time on March 8 of this year.. Ive seen Widespread over 150 times, String Cheese over 50 times etc etc etc. It is a very rare occasion that I see someoen live and get honestly blown away and in awe of the greatness that I"m in the presence of that the greater public will never have the life changing experience of haivng.. My point is.. seeing Bill Strings play live for the first time was very comparable to the experience I had at my first Widespread Panic show in 1999 at the UNO Lakefront for Halloween weeekend and was properly introduced to Mr. Michael Houser (RIP). I think I'm becoming obsessive.. LOL
Saw Billy and the band twice during the fall tour. Red rocks was great thanks to the venue while Norfolk was awesome because I was in the front row right in front of Billy Failing and we locked eyes for a moment. Absolutely love these guys! I feel the need to expand a bit and say I'm 46 years old - I saw the Dead play 10 times, I love Zappa and Pantera and Hendrix and Zep, but right now I think this kid is the hottest sound I've heard in a while. I'm glad to see that the old school talented musician still has a place in this world.

Seeing Billy live is like being introduced to a new drug. A really good one.

@@ogs1mpson609 Never was a fan of SCI. I keep giving them chances, seen em 11 or 12 times. I love it when Billy covers em though.
Michelle Macy I liked cheese way more before they went into full jam band mode.
