Welcome to Pangkor Island. Mate, you should have landed the other jetty, there are alot of duty free shops and rent a motorcycle and go around the Island, beautiful beaches and chalets.
There is the Dutch fort and small town with some nice food. Otherwise pangkor is just a relaxation resort kind of island, which should be great for a relaxed island time off day or weekend :) Do enjoy a good break. 2d1n should be enough for Pangkor
I meant nearby from where was standing at the time. I didn’t have any transport at the time and to walk to Coral beach would have taken about an hour and a half!
apart from riding around the island including a nice hilly bit, i found pangkor dirty and rather depressing, definitely not a place I will rush back to.. Hopefully, it's changed since my visit (15 years ago).
@@HengSoonAng The locals in my experience didn't see it because they were making it. I remember watching a local family bury a babies dirty nappy in the sand and walking away. Locals chucking bags by the rubbish skips, but not in them, when it would have taken no effort.
I would suggest teluk nipah and coral beach.....its not as dirty as before..
Enjoy a couple days rest my man, have a couple beers kick back and restart when you’re ready x
Cheers mate! Chilling!!!
@ perfect!!
