That would be a VERY long video haha If a 2-minute clip turns into a 15-minute lesson, I don´t even want to calculate how long would be the video if I used the entire movie!

👏🏼👏🏼 Very good video, as always! Спасибо!
У меня есть вопрос.. “велел” was a new word for me. But what’s the difference between “велел” and «сказал»?
"Сказать" means "to say" and "велеть" means "to command". It´s something in between "to say" and "to order"
The Martian, Liking your excellent work
Great idea!
Спасибо большое
Thank you for watching!
What a cool idea! I'm looking forward to checking out this series. What about a romantic comedy like When Harry Met Sally or As Good as It Gets?
Great idea, thanks!
Шерлок пожалуйста))
Отличная идея!
Have you done any songs this way? They're much shorter than films so you could cover an entire song, plus with the nature of songs people will tend to listen to them repeatedly, which makes them good for reinforcing vocabulary. Or maybe something like a series like Friends dubbed in Russian because it'd be familiar already to many people who grew up watching it, like me!
Anyway I love the format, this is a really effective way to learn - thank you for the video!
Thanks! Lessons based on songs or Friends have been highly requested, so I´ll consider making them.
How good was he doing calming the dinosaur down before it got shot 😭

I recommend the battle of Sevastopol, excellent movie
Thanks for the recommendation! I need to watch it first
PLEASE!!!! "GOLD" its about my degree... It's a movie with Matthew McConaughey. Greetings from ampeche, México. :3
Please do Breaking Bad. I'd love to hear Walter say I Am the one who Knocks!" In Russian.
Спасибо! Если цель начинающего - разговорный язык, то лучше смотреть фильмы / читать книги, где много диалогов - простых, ясных, используемых в реальной жизни фраз - здесь это "Джокер", "Операция Ы";
Если цель - рассказывать детям сказки, тогда фэнтези с описанием - "Холодное сердце", "Гарри Поттер". Фильмы со множеством простых диалогов трудно найти. Буду рада, если подскажите, кто знает. Еще раз огромное спасибо!
how can i obtain these movies in russian? i own the movie in english but the only dubbed languages are spanish and french, so how do i find these movies in russian?

Hello do you know a website where I can watch movies in Russian with English subtitles to improve my Russian?
🌝
Отлично Кристина, спасибо большое !! У меня вопрос, почему фраза ' я велел ждать моего сигнала' использовает родительный падеж, а не винительный?
Спасибо, Алехандро! Потому что после "ждать" нужно использовать родительный падеж

@@BoostYourRussianОгромное спасибо!! Я это не знал.
@@alejandrocatsoulieris646 Рада помочь!
Does anyone know where to buy movies in the Russian language with English subtitles? I have looked online and asked a Russian teacher and no one seems to know. I do have a specific film in mind.
👍

Предлагаю этот фильм: ru.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/12_%D0%BE%D0%B1%D0%B5%D0%B7%D1%8C%D1%8F%D0%BD_(%D1%84%D0%B8%D0%BB%D1%8C%D0%BC)
Thank you! I´m afraid I´ve never heard of it before 🤔
Whats the difference between Ты and Ты и ?
Is it the same to say Ты тупой or Ты и тупой ? Ты молодец or Ты и молодец ?
No, it´s not the same. The phrase "ты и" doesn´t make much sense to me and we don´t say it in Russian. Where did you hear it?
@@BoostYourRussian Thank you for the reply! In the video someone said : "Ну ты и мерзавец" ( 7:33 )
Ahhhh got it. The construction is "ну ты и..." + noun, without "ну" it doesn't make any sense. It''s similar to "ты такой...." and means "you're sooooo...!" For example, ну ты и лентяй / врун / дурак.
@@BoostYourRussian Thank you very much for the explanation !
шлёпать - That is kind of an unuusal word, isn't it? First time I've encountered it, anyway. I think it would have been good to make it a key word.
I don´t think it´s a useful word to learn and I doubt you´ll see it often!
Kristina translated шлёпать with 'shoot', but as far as I know it means 'to slap, to smack, to spank'. I think it's of onomatopoeic origin. See, e.g. ruclips.net/video/lZ9jLAtzKy8/видео.html
Я бу́ду тебя́ шлёпать,
/ I will spank you,
Я бу́ду тебя́ шлёпать - за плохо́й рэп.
/ I will spank you for bad rap.
Оди́н шлёп, за оди́н купле́т.
/ One spank for one verse.
Тебе́ да́же э́то нра́вится - не секре́т!
/ You'll even like it, that's no secret
Жаль, что бо́льше купле́тов нет. / Too bad there are no more verses.
A how very nice. I hope you make more videos like tits. Thanks!!.
Thanks, I will!
