If you find these a weee bit too fast like I do, you can change the playback speed to like 0.75 and it doesn't alter the pitch at all. Kristina has excellent pronunciation so definitely worth the watch / listen.
Thanks so much for this tip! It works! I want to be treated like a child & repeat slowly syllable by syllable until I get a little less tongue-tied. Your method @waynewestlake5924 is very helpful💚
Your videos are superb, Kristina. Thanks so much for your excellent YT channels. Just one comment (that I've made before): As a beginner I need to repeat the text very slowly, going syllable by syllable, as I've seen in Russian films of children in the classroom. PLEASE treat me like a child! - it would be much appreciated!💚
Thanks Kristina for your great efforts to help us. I've noticed that at around 15.15 and a bit, the comment that you say doesn't match the typed words and also that you have already been notified by others (but notice how nice they have been. )))) It's a testament to how much we appreciate and respect your efforts). But for me to pick that up, I see as a positive snce "I ACTUALLY picked it up". Have a great day
Great work but in some sentences your translation should be more exact. For this level it can be confusing if you give yourself too much freedom with it.
Hi, Kristina! Love your great work. I've been following your videos for a while and I find them very useful. By the way, I wanted to point out to you that there's one image that doesn't go with the audio. The image shows: этот компьютер стоит тысячу рублей: this computer costs a thousand rubles, but the sound is это дерево растет очень медленно: this tree grows very slowly. I imagine putting this material together must be grueling and an oversight can happen easily. I guess you skipped over the computer sentence, so there are 99 Simple Russian Sentences! LOL. Again, beautiful work!
@@BoostYourRussian No sweat! 😁👍🏼 Actually, if you have that section handy, I have a video editing program and I might be able to insert that section for you, you could reload it and problem solved! 🤔
Hi. Thank you for video. I have spotted small mistake @15.22 you read - this tree grows very slowly but it's written - this comupter costs 1000 rubles.
This beginner found your lesson pretty challenging, if I may say so. If these sentences are simple Russian, then that language surely is, say, really complicated. In simple sentences you should be able to translate the words logically and understandably as you can do in most cases, but in some of these sentences the central content is translated using the contrary idea, as you see for example in 12:25: сумка была совсем легкая - the bag wasn't heavy at all. That's certainly correct but you need not only to translate languages but even more rethink the idea in a Russian way, quite a heavy task for a beginner. By the way: at 15:17 the text and your soundtrack don't match at all. Well, in spite of these critical remarks: best greetings from Finland!
These are not tongue twisters. These are random sentences that you can use to practice your listening and pronunciation (if you choose to repeat after me)
It´s not a typo. "нравится" like any other Russian verb has different conjugation forms. In the phrase "мне нравится" the verb changes its form depending on the noun it´s referring to. Here you can find how to conjugate it masterrussian.com/verbs/nravitsa_ponravitsa.htm
@@BoostYourRussian Thank you for answering. Russian is harder than I anticipated but I will keep at it. Just had a discouraging realization the other day: Yeah I can read the words and pronounce them ok but I have no clue what they mean hehe.

I also like the film 'Once upon a time in America'. Great film.
thank you kristina for your work. I am enjoying the audio parts so that I can pronounce things right.
Thanks for your feedback, James!
thank you too good
Most welcome!
in the second sentence, why is it "улыбнулся" and not "улыбнулас"? it's a girl who was smiling, not a man, right? Thanks so much, I love your videos!
thank you
My pleasure!

Are these tongue twisters for improving the pronounciation?
These are not tongue twisters. These are random sentences that you can use to practice your listening and pronunciation (if you choose to repeat after me)
Some vowels at the end of phrases are pronounced difefferently as it is in the al fabet..Is this nomal in spoken russian?

Why is ``I like`` written differently in the next sentence? Is it a typo or some rule?

Not at all simple for me but that's because I have learning difficulties
It´ll get easier if you listen to these sentences a couple of times!
17:58 What's that?????????? UGLY????????? must be "scared"
17:56 i ask myself that everytime i see a mirror
No. This sentence must be wrong. It means "scared". Not "ugly"
