Dave Mustaine wrote 'A tout le monde' after his mom Emily passed away... she was the one who raised him and his sisters as a single mom after she left their abusive father.
the refrain is actually well spoken french, it translates to "to everyone, to all my friends, i love you but i must leave" this are the last words....
Love your breakdown there. That's really deep. In my humble opinion Dave Is arguably the greatest and most prolific heavy metal song writer in history.. People put Metallica on a pedestal. When in reality aint his song writing and lyrical contact is beyond belief
I had a heart attack last month and as it was happening all I could think about was what about my kids, my wife, it wasn't about what I did or about what I wanted to do tomorrow.
I had a heart attack in Halloween 2017, at 16. It's terrifying, but there was a moment of pure bliss before I blacked out. I wasn't scared, I wasn't in a panic, I was rather calm. I can't explain it, but this song perfectly captures what I was feeling I'm that moment, from start to finish.
This is my first time hearing this band and I really like what I'm hearing.

I really dug your thoughts on time. I had to take huge amounts of LSD to realise that-and even then I didn’t figure it out till I was already in my 30s.
I was in a bad way and I heard this after I thought I was doing what I need to do. I woke up two days later in a very bad way and an old man that was the security guard at the place I was employed told me "Son you lived, you gotta take care of the one (child) you love." I've done my best to help others. I've hinted to my kid a few times that I lived because of her

This is a good version, but I feel the BEST version of this song is with singer Cristina Scabbia from Lacuna Coil it just adds another layer to the song! Some other Megadeth is , "Trust", "Peace sells...but WHO's buying", "Good Mourning/Black Friday" LOTSA killer songs!
Speaking of Lacuna Coil they're a great Italian band, some of their songs are "Swamped", Our Truth" ,"Heavens a Lie" many others if you haven't heard them! 🤘😈😼✨⭐

Yeah no. The raw emotion of the original is much better than the overly poppy polished version Lacuna Coil did. It's a good tribute, but it isn't better than Megadeths.

To me the song is a suicide note he's trying to tell you all the same thing I am I love you I might not can bear the pressure put on me but it does not mean I don't love you all. My Hope and prayer is that this song is played while I'm being cremated because it's what I mean I love you all but from time to time to pressure put on me is almost more than I can bear. 2000 you that get it grate into those you that don't keep your comments to yourself cuz I won't respond cuz I don't give a s***.
