My favorite Megadeth lineup was
Marty Friedman- lead guitars
Nick Menza- drums
Dave Ellefson- bass
I was lucky enough to see this lineup once! Would have loved to see Chris Poland and Gar back in the day!
He was in Metallica. Don’t get it twisted. And he was the best member they had. Case in point Megadeth.
Being the best member of Metallica is discussable. But he indeed was better than James, Lars & Kirk.
Megadeth has great tunes, music and vocals and good sound production.

Dave was the original guitarist in Metallica. They fired him due to his out of control drinking, supposedly.
Out of control everything. He was still a heroin addict at this point and used to start fights at the clubs where they played. He destroyed Ron McGovney's bass, got them kicked off shows, shat on Lars a lot for his drumming, and just basically was a massive a-hole. It finally culminated with him punching out Hetfield. They were done with him after that.
No James kicked his dog and he knocked the shit out of him is why they fired him.
@@rofyle to be fair Lars drumming isn't that good he a decent drummer compared to alot of people. Dave only makes fun of his driving cause he couldn't play Mechanix fast enough so they slowed it down and made it the for horse men.
He was also the writer of a number of the early Metallica riffs.

'A Tout la Monde' (To All the World) is a song about if your had a moment to say something before you died to all those you loved, what you would say. MTv thought it was a song about suicide. It is not. Dave has said this before in interviews. The song comes off the Youthanasia album, so maybe that has something to do with confusion. Youthanasia is a more radio friendly album Megadeth released during the mid 1990's. If you like this song and want to hear another similar, check out 'Trust' off Cryptic Writings. If you want something a little heavier but not Thrash Metal, 'Ashes in Your Mouth' is also good.

He tried out for Megadeth when he was 15 so nothing really but it's an interesting fact!
This show was nightmare for the band. Dave and Marty were at the end of frustration of their musical dispute. This is the last show for Marty before he left Megadeth. Chemistry was zero at this show. Marty didn't coordinate his sound set up to Dave's, and if you watch the full show, you can see several times Dave glare angrily to Marty.

Wrong, Dave has stated many times that the song is about accepting your imminent death and wishing your closest ones your final goodbyes.
This song is about a suicide note left in French. et tute le monde is to all the world. Thanks for teaching me the only French I know Dave. ha.
