The most intense rivalry in the league is renewed at Candlestick Park, as 8-4 San Fran is looking to get even with 11-1 Seattle after their blowout loss earlier in the season.
That was a good year for the NFL with the Seahawks vs 49ers. Both very good teams, great defense and great QBs that are mirrored images that can pass and run. Crazy that year the Hawks only lost twice within the division and once outside vs the AFC of the Colts.
@Mac-10 Murdaz I mean, now that Jim Harbaugh is no longer longer head coach of the Niners, do the teams still hate each other like they did back in 2012?
I agree with most of what you said except for the great QB's part. Kaepernick was not a great QB, not even close. He was a decent QB at best who had his moments of looking elite, but he was also way too inconsistent, even in 2013. If the 49ers had a QB as good as Russel Wilson back then, they would have swept the Seahawks that year without question. The 49ers passing game was by far its weakest link.
Seattle would often hold in the secondary. If they knew they were beat, they would rather give up 5 yards than a big play. I am sure they were taught to do that.
Could you post Falcons @ Eagles 2018 Divisional Round or Packers @ Cowboys 2017 Divisional Round or Steelers @ Chiefs 2017 Divisional Round or Steelers @ Bengals 2016 Wildcard Round or Giants @ Packers 2008 NFC Championship game
One should ask how the 49's went from 2 nfc championship games and a superbowl to crap in one year....and have never recovered.........Its interesting that Seahawks are in almost every game they have played since wilson has been qb....when they lose it is never by more then a score almost always. The 49's were jinxed when that first take idiot kept saying kapernick was so damn good and was so much better then wilson, same with andrew luck...then the idiot said how seattle was unbeatable when they traded their all star center for the graham who was hurt and couldn't block...probably something important for a team that runs alot...not so much when you have breeze throwing to you.
@Jonathan Dee The One And Only elite again? Do you know what happens to teams after they go to the superbowl and blow it? Its not good. And there will never be a 'dynasty' again...it just can not happen with the age of the salary cap. Patriots were able to do it by having a bye almost every playoff by playing in a very weak division and of course cheating. I saw all I needed to about the 49ers in the superbowl..when they needed the pass rush to win the game.....it was gone. When they needed their qb to step up at the end to win..same thing...
@@sssarzzz exactly they're still talking about us wasting our shot while in reality they just fucked up their shot and our shot at a sb victory is opening up again
I mean they lost so many players the next two seasons along with Harbaugh. Defence alone they lost Aldon Smith, Justin Smith, Patrick Willis, Navarro Bowman, Chris Culliver, Terrell Brown, Carlos Rodgers, Donte Whitner, Ray Mcdonald and Glen Dorsey. These were all either losses due to injury, suspension/off field issues, free agency, retirements, or trades... They basically lost all the key components of their defense and offensively the receiver core and offensive line got weaker which really exposed Kap as a sub-par QB.
This game and the NFC Championship were great. Definitely the top two teams that year.
This rivalry used to be so good
Aiden Shearin it’s starting to pick back up again
Still is tbh
It still is yea
It’s bigger now then it was in 2013
Big Facts 💯

@Lemuel Falcon Seahawks and 49ers both looking really good this season. But I’m not sure if the teams consider themselves rivals.

@@Jonathan83X russel Wilson sucks. He was just good in the Pete carrols Seahawks system. He can’t do anything with the broncos
This would end up being the last 49ers win over the Seahawks until 2018.
And I think the Niners have only won once against the Hawks since
Niners own the rams . Seahawks own the niners
@@AD-ur1fkNot anymore :)
Don’t act like we aren’t still 15-5 since 2013😭 sure you’ll probably make it 15-7 this season but we have still owned the 9ers over the past decade.
@@ErlingEra keep in mind that the 49ers were terrible during those years but go ahead and flex that I guess 😅
This would’ve been the NFC Championship 2 years in a row if Pete Carroll didn’t call that timeout against the Falcons
This was the best rivalry I have ever seen in 10 years
I always wanted to see this game. Instead I saw my Broncos play the Titans. Thanks for posting Bart.

Do you have the 9ers vs Falcons from MNF? The pick to end candlestick
Thanks Bart.
I was at this game, thanks for sharing
Can you feel the niners Hawks rivalry renewed
The NFC championship was definitely the super bowl that year. Payton’s 13 broncos were special but San Fran actually put up a fight 🤷🏻♂️
Can you re-upload Packers at Patriots 2002

kearse probably catches that or at least has a shot if he doesnt' fall down lol
How about Jets Bills week 1 2002?
cool! i actually missed this game due to a church mission
Candlestick was so loud
Do you have 49ers Saints from 2013? The Ahmad Brooks game?

Regardless I think that core on defense is the most talented group to ever not win a SB...
Niners think they are the best. Go Hawks baby
