This all looks and sounds nice, but when you pull apart a pair of asics and see how little gel is actually used, it definitely causes some doubts to creep into your mind... Then you start to realize it's mostly flashy marketing.
but the nimbus 17 was extremly soft , both the gel and the foam, specially the foam was extremly soft so there wa snot really needed with the gel , the gel wa sjsut an extra nice touch to it but the true magic wa sin the midsole foam and the outsole foam
I wear Asics Gel shoes for work, which entails long hours standing and walking on concrete floors. Also have plantar fascitis, and these are one of only four shoes recommended by the American Podiatrist Association for that issue. Couldn't get by without mine, but I don't run in them
Fascinating, you've mentioned that this shoe is one of four shoes recommended by American Podiatrist Association. Would you like to mention the other 3?
oh my god i miss the nimbus 17 , the best shoe ever created.... if Asics ever released them again i would pay up to 1000 dollars for them just to feel that amasing softness and cushioning again....
@@joejr6103 for the moment i have nimbus 23 , is the nimbus 24 better? nimbus 23 is an OK shoe it has nice fit no hotspots and quite ok in cushioning , but still , the nimbus 23 is nuthing compared to the nimbus 17... the nimbus 17 had something special in its flytefoam and gel , it was extremly soft and comfortable and i never experienced anything like it and i miss it...
Por fin entendí que Asics me obliga a aterrizar con el talón.Despues de tanta controversia sobre si debería hacerlo con cola parte media exterior.Puedo morir en paz baja.
A person runs whatever way they see fit, and it's not up to some dumb ass troll like you to insult them and tell them what is right for them. So you might as well shut your dumb ass mouth if you don't have anything of value to say
@@MybeautifulandamazingPrincess there's running form for a reason, if you were to take your shoes off and run you'll find you will be on your fore foot because heel strike is pretty painful and unnatural to run on. But companies have made shoes with high cushioning in the heel further cementing bad form all of this leads to shin/thigh splints, stress fractures, knee problems etc...
The gel in Asics is as hard as rubber anyways .. so I couldn't feel the difference with my hands when I pressed hard on the heel .. also it is so small on one side that clearly seems like a gimmick. Shouldn't a good shoe be allround good instead of of some bits and pieces!?
NOBODY run barefoot landing on their knees unless forced to (for advertisement purpose, in example). Better fix your running form and buy better (and lighter) shoes. Gels make your shoes heavy.
I agree... I noticed this tendency in sometime after 2008, when the "creatives" of all main brands started consuming too much drugs and cannabis, ending up with horrendous designs. Before that time even the cheapest and most basic runing(and casual also) shoes were cool, some ellegant. Sad...
Whoaaa, i'm a bit scared to look at this clips as they are exaggerating on heel strike running. that overacting heelstrike running hurts my ankle when looking of it... no need to exaggerate what you wanna empahsis... imho
none of the professional runners run by landing their heel first. bad advertisement strategy.
it depends really. Not all runners and it in fact depends on a lot of factors-speed, terrain, uphill/downhill etc.
Megha Sahu exactly 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
They might mean evn if u anyhow run u also wont get hrt
i think landing on the heel feels unnatural and it hurts the foot , knees , and the lower back
Oh yeah? learn about Rarámuri Runners, your head will explode!!
Looks like these runners will suffer from heel related injuries soon,... that heel strike,...hahaha..
That slow motion heal strike made me cringe so hard

wich are the other 3 ? i miss the nimbus 17 they where so soft
the heel striking...
First thing I noticed too was the heels. I've just bought a pair of Asics, but having second thoughts now if they're designed for that...
Who taught you to land on the heels people? Srsly?!
Very good job
I hurt my knees just watching this video
A lot of ppl stay the form is bad but most average ppl that you see on the side of the street run like that so for the average jogger it is fine.

@It’s ya boy i got them already , the tokio version , they are super hard , and nuthing compared to the nimbus 17
Try the nimbus 24. I love the shoe soo much. I keep smiling when wear it.

Does ASICS fuzor b provide gel technology in its sole.
Pls reply.
It's urgent
Wow that hurts just looking at it. PLEASE STOP RUNNING LIKE THAT. I run 25-30 km/wk on Cumulus 19's and they are the best shoes I've had yet.
Can you send a guide video link on how to run? I actually don't know the proper form of how to run
ASICS honestly should be ashamed to have released a video that promotes over- / heelstriking like that.
Worst running technique ever.
Just a mild case of heelstriking ;)
:D exactly my thoughts!
yep, especially the woman. too much bouncing

Better good running technique and cheapest Kalenji
Эта пробежка на пятку, самих рабочих с фабрики, их заставили бежать, что бы не нанимать профессионалов.
Или хотели показать, что в этих кроссах даже самый лузер не покалечится.
Никогда не повторяйте это дома!)

You should just wear other shoes instead of complaining on the internet. Makes you sound like a loser
so its bad for the knee?
are they promoting heel strike here?
Why in running shoe commercials; the athletes heel strike like they are kicking the concrete?
what's the shoe in the video the one the man is wearing
gel nimbus 17
Lyrae Smith а
Very comfortable and soft shoes walking fast or jogging feel so comfortable good all day shoe. Nike stopped making skyelux
Watch out nike
what the fuck kind of running was that first girl doing tf

Nossa lindo
hurts only when looking
Asics choosing models with awful form and heel strikes! Nice✌🏽👍🏾

아식스 젤은 페이크죠 허접한 거 달랑 얄량한 얍삽하게 작은거 넣어놓고 사기치는
Quality of Asics Gel has declined. Sad to say i do not purchase #Asics as the last few pairs have lasted half the usual life #expensive #nasty #shoes
Change the models and get someone knows how to run properly. Thats sucks
Isnt that singapore?
Never ever run like this
모델이 열라 못뛰네
modern running shoes are so ugly - like a odd-shaped carrot-ufo landed onto a gigantic piece of bubble-gum.

I keep coming here just to see how horrible their running technique is
It gives me shudder
If you have shitty run technic as in video , the best shoes are worthless
it doesn't look natural, regarding else.

these people can’t run
bad advertisement ever
