I remember the good ol'days when this was an active channel and we did get videos like this so often!
This channel was part of a group called Defy Media. Defy Media was doing good up until November 6, 2018, when it abruptly announced its shut down and would immediately lay off all its employees. This move affected the RUclips channel Smosh as well as AWE me. We're pretty lucky that the channels stayed intact ever since the shut down.

Definitely a cool sword, but had you not told, I wouldn’t be able to tell that’s the Darksaber.
I agree. Too many striations and too small on the edge. The handle is wrapped like a katana, not fashioned like a lightsaber and the brass would have been better as blackened steel. It looks nothing like the darksaber.
The design behind this was a medieval take on the Darksaber so yes, it’s definitely got a different look to it.
If you check out Jake Bartok, you’ll get a good example of what inspired it
I agree totally. It's an overall mean looking blade design, but this is like just the core without the light around it and that changes the profile completely.

I started watching Man at Arms in my early teens and it was such an inspiration, I'm now 23 and I am so glad it's back, like a nostalgia gem unearthed from my teenage years. A massive thanks to Baltimore Knife and Sword for making this possible again ❤️❤️ lots of love from the UK

Not bad at all....The hilt is lot cleaner than the lightsaber-like hilt from the source material. The last metal Darksaver i saw being made on youtube was sharpened on the wrong side 😂😂😂
The tip of the blade is too narrow when compared to the Darksaber, and the katana-like handle... yeah, this is a reinterpretation of the original concept. Which is still great, i love to see all the mastery involved into making the blades that you guys make.

While I won’t say it looks exactly like the dark saber, I think it’s more of a callback to they’re like first episode of making a classic katana but starwars themed, just a katana but dark saber themed

Debatable. Exar Kun used a metal sword infused with the force so it could withstand lightsabers. The darksaber is a solid 2 tho.

You guys should do a collaboration with Skatolorian. He is making a full set of mandalorian armour but making it out of steel
heres something different. do the hammer and tongs the mandalorian smith uses to forge beskar.
I like the blade, really light the straighter crossguard compared to the OG darksaber, but didn't care for the katana wrapped handle
