Been playing this game since launch. Actually built my first PC play this game around its launch. I enjoy it. It’s flawed for sure but fun.
You constantly put out the most informative videos regarding stealth changes and minor bugs that are hard to notice. I know it’s not easy to spot and make videos about all these things. I really really appreciate the work you put in around this game that I love.

This game is fun to play and I barely find a bug. Or maybe its a bug but its not noticeable for me. I see a lot of people keep complaining about the game but its ss7 already, its not new. If u dont find this game fun to play so stop and move on.

Another bug I found, the inability to pick up your sentry gun in certain locations on Haven
Yes...that pisses me off a lot
Turn on the in game Network Monitor. Prior to the update periodically up to 15% of my client hits would not register on the server, after the update sometimes 50% on Haven. Sometimes sound prompts are delayed. I've turned around to re-revive people because I heard no shock only to see them getting up and running away. It is as if the servers can't register all the events occurring. There is also this thing where if you back into or turn next to a wall you can partially see through it.
I find the servers game to game almost indifferent - I have mentioned it in my comment above, but in essence if I use the new SMG in a game and it is excellent, and nailed on, in the next game it wont register half my shots, so I switch to a fast shooting assault rifle and that fixes the problem - no idea why.
Hitreg is like it’s was when they realised the game. It’s utter shit. They fucked up the game so hard with this update.

It definitely feels horrible in my opinion with the new SMG as well especially when you run into an enemy whose using as well. I'm shooting first and dumping like half a mag into them and they're killing me with like 5 or 6 rounds.
Plus, even dying after running behind cover or around corners feels like it's happening a little more now as well.

Cause 2042 is the beta for the next battlefield at this point. Dice is clearly testing out how people react to these changes for the next game

Bot spawning is still bugged after at least 3 major content patches.
The recoil bug being back is probably why the gun fights have been feeling so inconsistent. It's very frustrating.
DICE also messed up performance this season - I used to get 70+ frames stable, but since the update all I can get is 30.
EBLC-Ram aim is also bugged.

I'm a spot and snipe player on console. I usually am a huge asset to my team but since the update, my spot function doesn't work 70% of the time, soflam doesn't work 50% of the time and I no longer can EMP any vehicles or devices with my drone.
Crazy how bad things can get in the span of a week.
Yes EMP was removed from the drone. Not the best decision imo.
Mouse and controller input is still bugged as well. It’s been 2 years DICE!
Anit tank mines are also messed up. You throw them down on a vehicle and they usually drive right over them. Seems like they have a 5 second arming time now instead of as soon as they're laid down. Broken for sure!
This was mentioned in the patch notes. I think they said 2 seconds to arm.
The activation time on them was increased to 2 seconds. Mentioned it in the last video about the patch notes. :)

I have noted some inconsistencies between weapons, some of my old favourites dont feel right, and some of the ones I didnt enjoy are now laser beams - so I am using weapons I didnt before season 7.
The new SMG I have found to be quite brilliant, but occasionally I drop into a server where it feels off, and can do from round to round - when it doesnt feel right, I have found switching to an assault rifle improves things - which to me suggests some server side gremlin.
I was wondering why my tank aim was always so off.
Seemed like i was shooting the ground.
Also been having a much harder (impossible?) time getting my aim elevated enough to target helicopters.
Luckily haven't had any issues with infantry weapons yet.
Thank you for bringing up those hybrid sights, it is absolutely slow on xbox as I primarily use both sights. Sure it irked me at first but I got somewhat used to the change and if they revert back from it, even better!

I'm currently playing helldivers 2 a lot. With the thumbnail I actually thought more of helldivers than Bf2042
I ran into a bug today where there was like a full second delay before I could fire after running through a door
my favorite bug is the one where ea refuses to let u play the games u own
Also the range digits in the SCZ-3 scope as seen at 8:20 appear to be broken. Thanks @cadwoman for the insightful video, although it is a pity that it is even necessary to address these bugs.

Not sure if this is a new bug or not, since I'm fairly new to the game but the Lis rockets do not work in the Solo/Co-op game, occasionally you can fire off one or two properly but usually as soon as you fire, rather than the missile view, you get a view of your feet instead....lol.
I’ve had this happen too in non- bot games.

I feel like spaws became worse somewhere around season 6. The game spawns me in direct line of sight over and over again (and no im not talking about spaw beacon)
I wonder why this game has been plagued with so many bugs from the beginning. I know COD sometimes after updates gets bugs and stuff like that that you just can't avoid. I have been playing this game on more a casual level and play on Xbox Series X and for the most part it's a good a good experience but sometimes I do feel when when I click sprint it doesn't always happen in the first click or the hit reg can be slow at times. But the recoil bug is definitely really bad though. 😅 I wonder if it has to do with the engine they're using or maybe not enough people to play test lol.

im not angry about s7 as im pretty sure that its a small team still working on 2042 while majority of the team is working on the next game
the vehicle animations are a recurring bug that ive seen since season 3
The ram vehicle turret is bugged in 3rd person aswel the gun shoots lower than where your aiming

Loving the new recoil changes (except bugs of course).
One game i got 5 and 6 rp battlepass progression then after that i had played 4 games and never heard nothing in battlepass .......

Plus lets not forget the still unaddressed hit registry issues and being killed around and through cover. Incendiary grenades and MAV/CAV fire still go through walls/objects.
As for destruction, it's mostly 95% reused assets from Arica and Caspian with recolours. Don't give DICE too mich praise.
Through all of it though, you really can tell there's 20 interns keeping this game on life support while the rest of DICE make the next Battleshite, I mean field.
Thanks cat for all this information Battlefield has always been a "broken game" but it's still a great game. They provide you with material to allow you to make videos, they are so cool. LOL. But too bad that DICE studio can't do anything against cheaters !
I hardly ever play in a tank. But took the T-28 for a spin yesterday. In 3rd person view I couldn't figure out why I couldn't hit anything I'm aiming at, especially since I'm playing with the anti-personel rounds which you generally kill anything by just shooting in their general direction, usually. It turned out that the point to which you're aiming and the tank's turret isn't lining up. The turret is facing down to the ground. Shocking stuff. I played BF2042 the day S7 released and then took a week break as it was just trash... And I haven't missed a single season (Rank almost 500).
What's a fps game you can recommend mate I'm playing bf2042 haven't gamed since mw3 used to love quick scoping but haven't got a clue what to play looking at comments appreciate any games you might recommend
@@jasonreddy1741 Truth be told there is really nothing worth playing at the moment. Helldivers was incredible fun but after the latest patch the game keeps crashing or disconnecting from live game sessions. So I've even placed that on hold till it is fixed. Don't know...
Notice how assault doesn't really have to rely on support? You get 3 bonus mags when you equip an assault rifle, voiding the need for ammo, and you get a med pen, and if you use Zain you heal fast when you get kills. Why should we have to rely on engineers to take out MBT'S? At least give recon 3 c5 so they can handle business when virtually no one picks up the cues when we hack a target or paint them with soflam.
Is there anyway to hide the weapons and health bar or maybe dim it?
I play on a C1 and I'm having slight burn in of the primary weapon and bar.
I’ve have personally raised this issue with the devs DIRECTLY to them individually. One of them seemed to understand the concern and the other one didn’t reply.
That was nearly a year ago.
I asked for a fully customisable HUD.
Did they do it?
No
Some of us spend thousands on monitors and TV’s.
They don’t care.
Other games do it as standard.
Could dice do it?
Yes.
Can they be bothered?
No
I turn all safeguarding measures ON on my lg oleds.
I also turn on the little HUD movement option in-game, at least it provides some help.
Don’t bother asking for anything sensible from dice because they don’t listen, don’t do anything and don’t care.
All I can say is at least we can remove the hip fire crosshair from the middle of the screen.
If we couldn’t do that, I wouldn’t play this game.
Make sure you turn on the screen shift feature on your LG.
It will help fight image retention.
And turn down your oled backlight, contrast and brightness if you can.

Yeah I have all that stuff ON. The only changes I've made recently are, to lower the OLED pixel brightness from full to 80 and the logo safeguard thing from minimum to max.
The burn is very slight, like a shadow of a shadow (primary weapon and health bar) and can only see it when that part of the screen is on blue or some green surface.
On the game options we can lower the size of each part of the HUD but will only make the same burn somewhere else, so I'm not doing it. What we need is a delete or to dim it.
Got the TV on black Friday of 2021, it's got 4.2K hours and I've played this game for 600-700 hours (got it on PS+ last year). Played many other games and some for 100s of hours, movies, RUclips, etc and no problems except for this one.
From now on I'm only gonna be doing my weekly challenges and play a bit on double XP weekends. Sad stuff, I really enjoy the game 😭
Yea... I really wanted to love this new season but it kinda seems like DICE (or whoever many skeleton crew team members are working on 2042 still) really phoned this one in.

Breakthrough and Rush (Friday Night Battlefield) on Haven are fantastic.

And they still haven't patched the bug, where some skins de-equip automatically sometimes. Totally love running around as basic Mackey the whole match just to notice I have no skin equiped at the end screen

Gotta ask, does anyone else feel like their TTK is either same as it was, or longer, compared with that of enemies? Since S7 dropped I've had multiple instances, majority of the time in fact, of enemy players just soaking up entire magazines of damage. Whether those are rifles or SMGs. Yet on the flip side players are instantly capping me with these same weapons. Two hit kills from the SFAR whilst zipping over a flag in a Sundance wingsuit for instance, whilst almost every enemy is taking half + mags from the same weapon. Continually capped at distances of 100m or greater by SMGs that have about a second of firing time as I sprint across an opening.
Its so difficult to tell if the game is really, really broken, or its just widespread cheating. It just makes gameplay feel so unfair when you're having to throw out more damage than an enemy.
You arent the only one. I thinkthe recoil changes make you have to be a better shot. I love recoil though. Make ls it feel like old battlefield

I personally haven’t run into cheating on this game. And I don’t know what you’re referring to as I don’t have that problem. I know a lot of mediocre to bad players claim people are cheating in the game chat but the fact is that they just aren’t good and can’t fathom how someone keeps killing them. A majority of the time they’re just not good.
@@jtstyles100 Cheating has been fairly consistent in 2042 from the start, but took off considerably a few seasons in, around the first free weekends. I've played every BF game since BF2 online, and the cheating in 2042 is noticeably more numerous. Previous games had rage cheaters who would do their best to annoy the server so it dumped out. That kind of thing has not appeared in 2042 in my experience, but 'stealth cheating' has.
Players of exceptionally low rank (and thus new) topping rounds back to back miles ahead of those with more experience. Players with intricate knowledge of positions when they have no in game means of it. These are people trying to conceal their hacking. To reinforce that players do cheat, are the numerous emails I've received from EA thanking assistance in removing players for cheating confirms that.
And no, not a mediocre player by any measure. Being unable to win an engagement either through bugs in the game, or cheating, does not make one mediocre. Especially when in almost every case, you shot the enemy first, and more times.
@@foabmoab yeah, I’m a top 1% player and I haven’t seen any cheating. I have been accused of cheating multiple times by players like yourself. As I said, more times than not you’re just bad bud. Come to terms with it.
Why is the targeting and emp now no longer available for the drone ? Is that a bug?
No that's a change that was made with the update. No idea why they removed it though.

I like the new map, and i dont really mind the new recoil. Just wish it was more polished.
Weren't they suppose to add 1 additional rocket to the engineers...?? I usually play as Crawford and still have the same amount, (4) M5 rockets, (3) RPGs, (4) Javelin's and (4) Stingers...I'm pretty sure thats what I had before, he always had one more than Boris.

The game has been virtually unplayable since the update. My player constantly freezes up, then sets off on its own and I'm unable to control it at all. Incredibly frustrating.
Not a fan of new "bugs" feature. I prefer steath perks feature instead.
Here is one that no one is talking about. Try driving the Ram in third person and take a look at the aiming reticle. there are two of them and they don't match up? Which one do I use to tell where my point of aim is???

Season 7 has made the game unplayably laggy for me. No matter what time of the day or night I join a server, other players are glitching all over the place, I drop out of sprint randomly, weapons on full auto fire a couple of rounds, pause, fire a couple more, pause again, etc. And those are just the least bad things I've noticed.
I m checked out at this point. I am so bored that I have to grind this "new" (empty) battlepass.... Feels like a crap job. And basically I just ignore the new map. I just hope it's the last one. But I doubt it.
Haven is what's broken, it kept crashing for me, the game works perfect on all the old maps

Only thing I don’t like is that they took 1 c5 away. Everything else is great and working good on my end.
Does the SOFLAM and M5 have scope glint, they are only 4X scopes...?
Soflam has a red glint, yes. But M5 doesn't have glint.

What i like is that everyone is saying it's amazing. There are new updates from dice, and after a few days, they say: There is a glitch, tank missed up, recoil still not fixed as promised by dice, scope issues and many many more😂. Still deaming😂

One thing. Solo match isn't completely representative of online play. For some strange reason, there's a lot more visual bugs in solo than the normal multiplayer. For example: Lis missle is bugged in solo, but normal in online matches.
a while back dice lowered the tick rate for solo mode and never again fixed it, this makes everything look weird, things that move on the maps will always look laggy, aim and recoil is completely fucked up and even projectiles such as lis rockets or any othe type of projectile are laggy and sometimes completely broken.
i guess they don't want people to play solo, they should just remove it completely.
Christ. After what felt like an eternity waiting, I was at least adequately satisfied with the changes they were SUPPOSEDLY bringing. And then the main one I care about doesn't even work. I didn't even realize just how absurdly fucked everything is aside from scopes, this is ridiculous. How can you take this long on a patch and STILL release it unfinished??? Classic ea/dice move at this point.
lol they just never learn. I am so glad I decided to move on about 2 years after release. Probably will never playing again and it is a shame. And they giving those unlocks on those seasons trying to get people back. Nah we good!

Def. Glad I tier 1d that already. It shouldn't have nerfed, it just needed a counter.
Repurposing Sundance's anti vehicle grenade into an anti equipment grenade would have handled the drone being able to stay up long and emp-ing vehicles
@@TheoriginalBMT rao can nuke the drone in 3 seconds. I don't know why they trip over themselves to keep vehicle mains happy when there are plenty of counters to anti vehicle gadgets. They can use the aps and have Irish's aps right next to the tank and camp the whole game.

If I'm not mistaken the 4x and 5x glint are still supposed to be on snipers but not on the other weapons, but nice to still they're broken thanks dice
Patch notes said it should be removed from all 4x and 5x scopes no matter the weapon.
