I hope guyton is there at 13 for raiders . Build the trenches . I love that he talks trash he is a perfect raider and fits the attitude a pierce wants in his players
he very well might be. all the simulations have him ranked 30th overall and about #5 for his position.
almost think Telesco can move down to 19 with the Rams and get the Ram’s their 2nd pick. (Rams could draft Murphy at 13 to replace Donald.)
Raiders still get their OT and can use their extra 2nd rounder to move into the tail end of the 1st for Penix if they really like him as rumored.
I would love that for the Raiders
Great video, really like this OLine draft. Lot of great players
Caedan Wallace = huge sleeper. I hope my steelers pick him up in the third.
Great work - new follower
Great insights man
Nice breakdown, thanks
Thanks Sanjit. Gotta go back and re-do some mock draft sims.
I’ve been waiting for you to come out with this list. I haven’t been a big fan of OTs who are really tall. And that dates back to the 1980s when Phil Pozderac played LT for my team, the Cowboys. Phil was 6’9” and D players had the ability to get under his pads, leading to Pozderac losing the rep.
Thank you for that insight, I might need to look at OTs 6'8 or taller, and see how many times it's actually worked out
I hope everything you said about Guyton is true😂😂
As a pats fan I like the Wallace rank/tape hopefully he’s able to potentially play LT for us
He's a stud!!!
Great list. Thanks for taking the time to make and share this.
I got a question about Fautanu.
Everyone has him projected as a Guard.
But you also mentioned Jordan Morgan might be a Guard, yet he made your list.
Do people generally project him as a Guard because he’s only 6’4”?
I’ve watched his tape and looked up his stats. He’s got longer arms than Tyler Guyton at 34 1/2”.
He’s extremely athletic. He has a spin move to keep himself in front of pass rushers who try to spin around him.
He reminds me a lot of Rashawn Slater. And Fautanu’s arms are longer than his.
So is there something wrong or missing from his technique? Is that why everyone’s got him going as a Guard instead of as a Tackle?
If you can play you can play .. interesting to see the responses here
@@AsG_4_ I put Fautanu only as a guard because he is 6'3 & 3/4, vs Morgan who is 6'5. I almost put Morgan as a Guard because of his arm length. For me, I think Morgan looks stronger on tape - For example when he down blocks he holds blocks better, and he also does a better job staying attached to guys in pass pro. Don't get me wrong, I think Fautanu is the better linemen over Morgan, I am just not sure if Fautanu plays OT in the NFL
@@The_Football_Scout I was just saying if he can play guard and or tackle ... You don't worry about the rest .. other than where you land him lol
Patrick Paul was a good deal higher for me because of how well he passed off and picked up stunts. But his run blocking wasn’t anything to write home about. That’s why I think he’s the go to pick for later rounds and is likely to stick around for years because he’s a smart and capable pass blocker.
So you think Texans got a great pick and value where they picked him?
This actually makes me feel better about picking guyton. Thank you
Guytons going to be great, trust me
Do you think jordan morgan goes 1st round?
I respect the hell out of your opinion, but Morgan ranked lower than Paul is actually crazy.
What do you think of Christian Jones from Texas?
I like Christian Jones, but I think he needs to develop still. I see him as a possible Day 2 but likely day 3 guy for now.
Just here to gloat.
JOE ALT pick #5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Eat it.
Amarius Mims is number 1 in my book all he needs is reps. I like J. Morgan too not a fan of Alt He's to Tall at 6'9"
Jonathan Ogden was 6’9”.
PLEASE keep doubting Joe Alt.
Once ii heard your Mims comment I knew you didn't know what you are talking about
Kingsley sumatia..he is really late in his punch..i wouldnt put him on the edge like that..maybe in a few years..with reps and good coaching
Mims was essentially a bust at GA. can't believe CIN wasted a 1st on him. he's tall with long arms - that's it. i bet he's out of the league in 3 yrs.
I think it's a bad pick, I am not going to lie. But the one upside with Mims is if he develops, he can also be the best tackle in the NFL. But if I was a betting man, chances are he wont hit that
Tier 1: Mims, Latham, Fautanu
Tier 2: Fuaga
Tier 3: Olu, Alt, Guyton
No other 1st round tackles
Wow, the Joe Alt hate is very cute
Welcome to the NY Jets OLU !!!
Olu is Him
Didn’t Guyton struggle at the senior bowl?
No
Like if you are down with Raider Nation 🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️
FUAGA Please!
Guyton got worked at the senior bowl.
That's not what I saw. He had a great senior bowl,. especially during the team periods
Scouts have Troy Fautanu from Washington ranked ahead of your #1 Olu, and he isn’t even in your Top 12.
Correct. Listen to the first minute of the video where he explains he has Fautanu ranked as a guard and not a tackle
Alt, the guy who can jump 3 yards sideways and get set before defenders can get out of their stance isn't athletic?
The guy with the "weak" punch than dances and patty cakes guys to death and still keeps the qb clean... That guy?
Come on... Lol
The Joe Alt hate is just the usual ANTI-ND bias. Its always there.
But who has more draft picks than anyone? Who grows elite OL on trees? Notre FUCKING Dame. No other school pumps out OL like ND. Let them hate. Joe Alt will be an AllPro, its obvious these guys shouldn't quit their day job. BTW, Alt just turned 21. He is a baby. He will only get better. Ppl never heard of his dad? Elite genetics. His brother is in the NHL. Keep doubting my boy Joe....PLEASE. Joe Alt pick #5. To be honest, he IS the best player in the draft. Some ppl wanna be different and doubt. Its adorable.
you're blind just saying
