I was actually looking at Bass being able to start at Guard before this years draft - It's is nice we finally got some depth on the OL
Bass likely going to replace Martin next year. Good chance Martin won't be back next season. Lawrence as well this likely last season in Dallas.

Bass is not as good as u think
The offense line will get us to playoffs
We've been getting g TO the playoffs consistently already
But it's solid Oline and Dline play that every playoff team winning at least 2 playoff games has had
Bass and Hoffman as backups will be very important in the season.
I think Wirfs was a RT his rookie year, love the detailed analysis breakdown on the Oline overall! Keeping Smith at LG is right move. I agree, You don’t mess with and move around guys who are all pros at their position lol
Yeah Wirfs was at RT his entire career(he switched to LT last year). He played both RT and LT in college.
Remember injuries during the season are a reality. The backups are important.
We have a good problem tryna not only figure out which good and ready to play now pieces we have, but also the outlook of having the most dominant Oline possible. 3 probowlers on one line in this lg is a good line. But one that can actually have all 5 potentially being that is incredible. When we had Travis Fredrick and healthy Tyron and of course our most reliable Zach Martin the other 2 were interchangeable and made better and that online was nasty. I think Beebe is that type player and can’t wait to see these young pieces develop together years to come. We can focus on other positions now
We just need gilly back! I think that's why Zeke took 15 for this year!
I need BeeBee to take over that center position. Him at center is the best option by far. Having a mauling center like that allows your qb to always be able to step up in the pocket is a great deal

@TheNemesis4u if that were true they wouldn't have told beebee they were looking at him as a center before the draft, which in turn led beebee to take reps at center during practice while still in college. He's been getting ready for this for months then they drafted him as they said they might w the 3rd rd pick...they aren't in love w Hoffman

The fact of the matter is Tyron also played RT at USC...
And he transitioned well
Tyler Smith has had very little trouble not only transitioning from LT in college to LG and per injury...
...back and forth to accommodate this team's needs in a pinch
Now, with that said...
Tyler Guyton's transition is an excellent talking point and content subject matter
But furthest from a concern imo

With Asim Richards, (who's seldom mentioned and seemingly lost in most Dallas Cowboys Oline-convo)
Hoffman, Bass, Ball, and rookie Nate Thomas...
This Oline is likely trajected among the best DESPITE 2 rookies being inserted
TJ Bass and Nate Thomas competing for Zack Martin's RG spot is going to be something to see in the near future.
This is all great (wanting young Olinemen to practice and be able to play more than 1 position), but when are these Cowboys Oline coaches going to teach our Oline better run blocking techniques? They need to start winning their battles and start pushing opponents back and out of the way more often. Cowboys need to get their running game going.
Looking forward to the Browns game to see if we have liftoff.

Bass and hoffman are gonna be very important depth pieces. Martin and smith got dinged up last year and they need viable backups. LT backup is worrisome though since as of today its probably edoga as the swing tackle.
In reality during a tough 17 game season, it doesn't matter who starts! Injuries can come at any given moment. If you don't have 2-3 guys ready to step up right away, you are not going very far in this league. Not a chance!

I know it will not happen but I think our best line up has Guyton at rt and smith at lt. Steele was terrible only hope is he wasn’t recovered but I find that hard to be because he sucked late in the year when he should have been healthy
Is Asim Richards going to be our swing tackle? I love our interior with its depth, but are we not still a little thin at tackle?
Unless there's injuries I don't see Bass starting I believe we will have 2 rookies starting on the OLine BeeBee will be starting Center

If they moved tyler smith to tackle tha would be an unwise move. Beebee at center cant be a guarantee. He needs to earn it. We need to stop playing favorites.
During games why don’t they play some lineman at the first then change them out at like 3rd qrt
I hope they don’t start moving guys around like they’ve done in the past because it keeps young guys from developing at their #1 position. I want FIVE GUYS WHO PLAY TOGETHER FOR YEARS, in the same positions, which can make them great!!!
And having Duke nearby, using him as an add-on coach, is a tool that’s too valuable to price! Because he (and the D Coaches who realize his worth) is an awesome teacher and a great role model and coach!

It’s not like he can’t but even if he just gives one more yr it helps the development of the younger players. We’d still be young and solid with Beebe I really think he’s a stud inside with Tyler we’d still be solid
Tyler Guyton will play better at LT. Him and Tyler Smith will hit the weights
The most important oline position is iffy.

3 Center on gameday? Beebe will not be on the gameday roster unless he is starting. Granted, the Nines want credit for drafting Beebe so Jerry will make the call on him starting.
