I've owned 4 6.0s now and absolutely love them. I haven't had anything but the factory vgt turbo but from my standpoint they are a very good setup.
hunter ben They are definitely a good charger for these trucks especially in the 450-550hp range. Good stock style well performing chargers are a magnificent thing!
We got 3 of em and same here, 6.0s are beasts if taken care of!!!

Got a 2005 6.0 single cab with a zf6. have the kcStage 2 turbo and 155 stock wdi injectors witch wdi custom tunes truck runs really good. think it would do better with a regulated return a sump and a lift pump. then eventually bigger injectors. would love to go with a non vgt. Just worried about how bad it will lag with it being a manual and my daily.

Tristan Goodbar They are definitely a truck of their own breed. I take great pride in building my own vehicles but I also can’t afford someone to build my vehicles be it trucks, bikes or cars so I’ve always done it myself. It’s a lot more accomplishing when you do it yourself and don’t just buy it that way or pay someone to build it.

Its lowered 2" in the front and 4" in the rear

Deletes are something frowned up by certain agency’s. I only use deletes for off road use only.

hey so im currently building my 6,0 its a 2007 350, im doing .020 bored out with rods pistons a colt stage 2 cam kdd o ring heads and the o dog intake probably some sort of aftermarket manifolds. im trying to figure out what fuel and charger to go with i just want it in the 750-850 range and im wondering is a dual hpop setup probably what i need or could i just go with a bored out singe hpop. what do you think would be the best setup for fuel and chargers. currently leaning twards a s369 with maybe some 7mm 285/100 or 150s

Edward Blaine Nake sure to get good quality custom tunes for your rig as well as a good clean fuel system. I prefer Fass Fuel Systems but there are other options out there as well.
I have a 03 F550 6.0
I cut the frame and move the diff
I put a regular bed
It’s 4x4
Next thing and trying to do is to get a stage 3 intake manifold and some headers
but I don’t know if it’s best vgt o none vgt

Ruben Ozuna if you go nonvgt I only use SocalBillet T4 kits and Borg Warner charger. KC Turbos has nice VGT units
What would a 5r110 trans built for around 1000hp cost. And are you gonna be at SDX this year
Jeremy Stutzman You’re looking around the $7500-$8000 price range. I might be attending this year it really just depends how everything goes this next month or so. Last time I was at SDX I swore I would never return because of being harassed by police.

I got an 04 late model 6.0 with an egr delete can i unplug the egr valve? Alot of forums say it works with the fan clutch and it doesnt run at the right rpm
Why would you unplug the vgt?
