Love Styx and Dan Rather's interviews.
Too Much Time on my Hands is always at the top of my playlists.
Boat on a River is my dreaming sing.
Amazing song by Tommy Shaw/Styx, which still sounds fresh till this day, and my favorite song from them.
Im going to see Styx in August
Good jam
Tommy knows what he is doing.
Dennis DeYoung arranged Renegade for Tommy
Surprised Styx and REO are not touring together this year. Hope all is well. I do believe REO is touring tho.
Tho??.......stix???Who's that ??
My wife and I just saw them 3 weeks ago after the San Antonio rodeo...Styx is touring for sure
They lost me with Kilroy. Babe was made for 13 year old girls that liked candy. 😂
Dennis is my favorite of Styx. Nowadays Styx is not what they used to be just like so many other bands that came out in the 70's. I prefer the original studio recordings.
Wanna know something Tommy? Your first wife Cuppy, wrote Renegade for you on piano as she transcribed your tabs into piano for Dennis. Tell the truth, boy
Dottie u r ate up!!! Metaphorically, of course.
LOVE,
Shay Lynn Alexander
@dottiee1596 Were you there? You seem to have intimate knowledge of the writing of the song.
STYX Gotta be Steelers fans. How much money are they getting each time the Steelers kick off is preceded by Renegade?
The way it works is the Steelers pay licensing fees to the publishing company Ascap or BMI. They monitor song plays and dish out royalties. It's not an exact science but it works... Kinda...
Great song, fantastic musician...hey Dan,why don't you tell us how you write fake stories about president's military service?
It's amazing how many of these new personalities have bad pasts.
Ask how Tommy Shaw stole the band name STYX from Dennis Deyoung.
