She Boiled scrambled eggs, jail. She paired fish and chips with mushy peas, jail. Worst of all when she was told to make grilled fish, she put a giant pan on her grill in the process meaning she didn't even grill it. She's worse than all the level 1s combined and it's all her doing.

You can still use her cooking method ( _poaching scambled egg_ ).
It's actually pretty great especially when you dont want oily food or want egg but want them lite. Tastes like those eggs where you scramble them inside the shell then boil them.
You can also add some not-hot melted butter during the scrambling process to add flavor. The egg also cooks super fast in 10-20secs and virtually unburnable.

Level 2 dish is what I would eat everyday, because eggs and rice are a go to for my daily life. Except sesame seeds because I don't have them at home.
I'm going to have to go with the level 1 chef because (to me) scrambled eggs are meant to be a quick, easy and filling (forgot the word here, feel free to correct me) meal to make for breakfast, but that can also work for lunch or dinner (maybe the dinner part is just me but who know's). It's not supposed to require a special device to crack the eggshell, and then sterilise the eggshell to make scrambled eggs.

Well, actually there is a way to have cheese if you're lactose intolerant by taking Lactaid (or any other lactose intolerant medicine) before or after eating cheese. Or you could buy lactose free cheese which is really not that bad. Or if you know how to make cheese, you could make it out of llactose free milk which doesn't too much different from regular milk.
There is very few lactose in cheese.

Level 1: basic scrambled eggs
Level 2: scrambled eggs with a twist
Level 3: whipped cream in an eggshell with fish eggs
It is actually a lot harder to make a dish taste that good without adding lots of fat, alcohol or sugar, like lvl 3 and 1 did, so mad respect for lvl 2 chef 😎✌️
Honestly, I think that the only reason that the level 2 and 3 chefs were being so extra was because scrambled eggs are such a simple recipe that there wasn’t much substance for them to show so they were making up for that by being extra.
weiwei I had similar thoughts. Not sure if you watch Gordon Ramsey at all but I figured level 3 would be a similar recipe to his scrambled eggs.
weiwei actually, the best and perfect scrambled eggs were in France! Farm fresh eggs that were perfectly blended ( no whites) showing and super creamy, not brown, rubbery or over cooked! Most people cannot cook scramble eggs.
Level two wasn't even extra though. Just used some flavors that aren't as conventional in western culture.

I have seen tests on when to add salt to eggs. adding them to eggs before or during cooking leads to slightly moister eggs.
Turns out food "scientists" are just as prone to regurgitating "common wisdom" as normies. Who would have guessed!?
actually they say that adding salt to eggs before cooking denatures the protein and therefore not recommended... i still add it before and my eggs come out fine. I hate the taste of late-salted eggs....they have an almost metatllic taste to me

You may not like the way level 3 prepares the egg, but people complaining about the serving size need to chill. People always forget that at a lot of upscale restaurants people are given several courses to their meal.
The level 3 chef made something that looked delicious, but it wasn't scrambled eggs. I prefer the simplicity of what the level 1 chef made. I'm with her on consistency and familiarity. Sometimes I like that.
Level 1: Scrambled omelette.
Level 2: Scrambled omurice.
Level 3: Scrambled poached eggs.

I thought the home cook was over-elaborating it. For scrambled eggs you need eggs, fat, and salt. You can't get tastier fat than the stuff rendered when cooking the bacon. And there's no need to whisk the eggs: you're not making omelette, so just break them straight into the pan.

Peter Taylor you’re just wrong lol bacon fat has a really strong flavor that is overwhelming. Also if you break the egg in the pan, your scrambled egg will be super uneven with chunks of yolk and chunks if egg white.

@Lassi Kinnunen But think about it: the main ingredient is egg. The yolk and white are scrambled. Unlike pancake, no flour or potato or other components are added in the egg mixture. The cream and caviar are the toppings, through very unusual. Thus, it is a scrambled egg, just not the type we usually think of.
