The new sounds for this new 640CUI I6 diesel and the 1100CUI V8 diesel of the T-Series are pure gold! I tested them both in my pair of professional speakers and the throaty, thundery diesel clatters dominated my house! Mr MarkTDK, your legendary status strikes again! 💗😎
@@zachmoize6075 Well, there are a couple general engine swap mods that should work with any engine, at least if they get updated. Also, fully maxed out the engine is plenty powerful to get the MD-series up to speed and also be very torque-y with the hi/lo splitter, 10-speed and hi2/hi4/lo4 transfer case (yes, you can make it have two hi/lo splitters and a 10-speed, so 40 gears total (whatever you'd need that many gears for)
@@SolaricSage116 Yeah, it's quite absurd. Some of the gears probably have the same ratios so more like 35. Realistically you'd never need more than 16-20 gears, most modern semi trucks have 14-18 (automatic transmission ofc)
good work! 80,000 ft. lb at the wheels is impressive. I haven't messed around with this truck yet in game, but it looks like fun! It's like this truck was made for your RUclips channel haha

You should do another Pull Test, but with the new 1100 CUI (18.0L) V8 Diesel for the T-Series, but with a twist: you MUST equip the 73 Speed manual transmission
Have you considered using fewer trailers with more weight? When you get to four trailers, you are nearly at the top with the truck, before the last one gets onto the incline 😅
Heh heh, basically a '72 - 60 series GMC with a different grille! The engine sounds like a 6-71T Detroit at 1800 rpm. with the redline set up to 3600 on that 4 stroke. I don't think that drivetrain and rear end would have lived through the last couple pulls with 49 tons on board!😄👍
The sounds are quite good in this sim/game. I was honestly cringing over the sound of the diesel bogging down. All I could think of is that gearbox detonating
I thinks it's amazing that the radiator kept up for once! These tests always seem to overheat everything. Speaking of which, I would love to know the clutch temp during these test.
@@camarokidbb4347 i used a mod its the camshaft mod when downloaded it will be in the nitrous menu keep stock cam but add the stage 4 engine tune there is 4 engine tunes in this mod too

Max throttle @ redline makes more torque than 60% throttle @peak, not to mention if there's not enough torque at max it'll slow down to until it makes enough torque (or keep falling if it can't make the torque)
İm waitting update to off-road/pickup moonhawk mod to see yhis channel used for pull test ı want this update add Cargo box Flatbed wood box hay box And semi trailer 1.5 and 2 door version
That's a shame you do it on keyboard. This game is a simulator, can you imagine? You can have much better controls over clutch and therefore when going uphill. You just have to use steering wheel with pedals, you know that, right?
Looking forward to the V8 T-Series road train
I've been waiting for this since the t-series came out!
Yeah can config that to make over 2k HP and torque curve is very flat
Centipede
@@codeninja1823Millipede.
I lagged out when I got to 15 trailers. Also had near on no traction.
I recommend trying again with the four wheel drive. The transfer case high low and the splitter high low make for some crazy low gearing
plus rear end gears!
Yeah, i was able to get up that hill with a 30,000kg semi trailer AT IDLE
I knew you'd be on this so fast. New V8 T Series next please. 😇

"professional speakers"
The way that thing could go to 3600rpm gave me the Detroit Diesel nostalgia.
I know, right? 6-71T around 1800 rpm or so.😄👍👍
Maybe add a “total tons” somewhere on screen. Eventually i lost track and couldnt tell and didnt want to do the math myself
The total in the end is 54.7 tons
Your welcome
And thank you
It's 120,340lbs. Not Including the weight of just the truck with no load...

I wouldn't be surprised if the T-Series V8 Diesel could be turned into a V10 version.

it can make twice as much actually because you can have a transmission with a switchable low high gear so double the power
the MD is quite good wont lie. When you put offroad suspension, that thing turns into a mountain goat
We desperatly need portal axles tho
Yeah I couldn't test that as the single cab short frame with off road suspension just kept breaking the rear drive shaft on me for some reason

I always like the sounds of trucks going up hill, sounds so good
Engine sound is nicely done.
Finally! Another pull test. Thank you, man!
The MD suspension is so bouncy 😭😭😭 I always bounce like crazy on the road
The advantage of gearing. Wheel torque went from around 36,000lb ft@3kRPM to 76,000lb@3kRPM ft with the 10 speed.
The engine sounds like a Cummins B6.7, its spot on
3:13 is it just me or did it kinda sound like an old Detroit 2 stroke?
I’m surprised the parking brake was even strong enough, I thought it wouldn’t be 😂😂😂

I wish they would fix the sound for new vehicles since the BX overhaul. the looping is too obvious when you get to around 1200rpm

Increase the tire friction coefficient.

Could you release a tutorial on how to increase tire grip in the files so that i may conduct pulling tests like yours?
Go to the tire jbeam file and look for "frictionCoef", it's usually set to 1. I set it to 10 for my videos.

What is that dyno UI tool you have?
