I wish Bruckell Moonhawk needed a remaster desperately, because it's been like 10 years this day...
In my opinion, the Miramar, Burnside, Sunburst and Moonhawk need it most.

Tbh all the cars are gonna be revamped at some point also chances are that's gonna be next because the last update they did jdm and the 0.33 is most likely gonna be something Japanese or maybe European
I have a huge feeling that the I-series is going to be remastered in 0.33. Just last week we got 0.32.2, which added a Gambler I-series (based off of a real life Gambler BMW that a few BeamNG devs were working on). The I-series now has an updated thumbnail in the Vehicle Selector, along with all of its configs.
The Gambler I-series also has improved headlights; when the current I-series still has the old, yellow, discord-light-mode-when-you-look-at-them-head-on lights.
it's possible but I don't think the new config means a remaster in the near future. Sbr4 got the electric config 5 years ago and still no remaster
Grand Marshall and Pessima also got new headlights and they didn't got remastered, I mean Grand Marshall got a remaster but, headlights update was after it.
I hope in Pessima Mk1 too, i noticed that some configs changed engine sound and lights seem a bit refreshed...

Correction: Gambler 500 I series was added in 0.32.3 and the headlights were updated in the same version
Can't forget the Grand Marshall! Would love to see them add some Lincoln Town Car and Mercury Grand Marquis variants, and even some Chevrolet Caprice configurations too!

It got one ages ago, but now with all the current car remasters it’s starting to get old
they remastered it already
The body panels, interior, and chassis are all unchanged since 2013. The only remastering it got was the parts it shared with the D-Series & H-Series when those got remastered, and then the shared low rider parts when the Bluebuck released.

Btw, if you remove the door panels on the Sunburst, there is no texture on the inside of the door
the unibody and widebody parts are sometimes discolored from the rest of the car and look at that fake lighting on the steering wheel

Definitely all these cars will be updated as a remaster or refresh, but it takes an extensive amount of time which is why we only get one or two per year. They are all deserving.
The Moonhawk, Burnside, and Miramar are the most deserving to me with honorable mention being the Sunburst.
-Moonhawk: Sedan & Wagon would be very cool. Already have a facelift too.
-Burnside Special: Would love a ‘57 facelift as we are in desperate need for some tail fins. Otherwise really just needs a refresh.
-Miramar: Self explanatory: The car everyone forgets about. Needs some love. It will practically be a new car at that point.
-Sunburst: Just in need for one. Doesn’t really need those new daytime running lights unless it gets a facelift variant. The car is at that niche point coming out of the 2000s with better styling and tech, but wouldn’t be in time to see LED lights and extras like that ‘15+ cars would have.
I think the grand Marshall is often overlooked for needing a remaster but if you look at it closely it has a few of the same problems that a lot of the cars in this video have and it just seems a little behind when compared to the more recently remastered cars

That sunburst reminds me of the Evo 6 from the original Forza Motorsport, both badly need a rework
Sunburst has loads of mods to enhance it at least. And reworked interiors and such.
They seriously need to remaster the older American cars. Those things are pretty much ancient like the moon hawk, Barstow, burnside and maybe even the bluebuck
The Bluebuck is a newer car (in terms of date added) and is decently customizable.

I think the Pessima needs some love as well and I think we need different body variants like face-lift versions and Estates/Wagons/Kombis, coupe, SUV variants. I can see a lot of cars being able to fulfill these different vehicle models with "little" changes to the base design. We have seen from mods that its possible so its just a question of the teams priority or aimed goals
I love old cars but almost all of them are outdated so I hope they'll get some attention from the devs
Don't really think we gonna get many remakes or big remasters any time soon,from what I heard the devs are working on remaking more gameplay stuff than cars rn
Glad we share the same view about the Sunburst! We haven't had a single car to have a front-mounted FWD/AWD Flat-4 configuration and it's about time the Sunburst redefines what Hirochi is by switching to Flat-4s! Enough with the transverse-Inline-4-powered FWD cars in BeamNG! 😎
As for the Miramar, in order to house the 2.0 I6, the original Skyline had its front end lengthened by a couple of inches and, voila, the S50A Skyline was created! But even if the Miramar doesn't get its front end lengthened (which was the case with the next Skyline, the KPGC-10 or "Hakosuka", the racing livery of which served as inspiration for the livery of the Race version of the Miramar), it could certainly be a massive missed opportunity for the classic small Inline-6s to not represent the Japanese world expansion period in BeamNG!
And it's not only the Ibishu brand that could be a great candidate for this type of engine, but also the ETK brand! A small 2-liter I6 could certainly be part of the I-Series engine lineup, to form the base "2000i" version. And the power/torque stats of the 2.4 I6 in its current state (132hp/182Nm, confirmed by the Torque Curve UI App) are just great for the said 2.0 I6, so the 2.4 I6 unit could have a decent distancing bump, to, say, 155hp/220Nm and come closer to the 3.0 I6 unit, which stands at 193hp/289Nm and is perfectly fine just as it is! 😉

Can't forget the MK1 Pessima. It is long overdue for that too. What I want to see the most is a Wagon configuration, and a series of JDM configurations.
i found one on the repository, but it is so outdated it gives you an instability message as soon as you spawn it.

For the Barstow, I really think it would also deserve a Bullitt inspired config since it is the closest car to a Mustang in the game!
Perhaps even an Eleanor config! (The version based on the Mach 1 Mustang.)
i saw the 200bx remaster and i was like "this is awesome, but did they forget the moonhawk?"
Every car that doesn't have lightweight glass and a removable interior and a race dashboard option needs to have this and it would be nice if they added plastic glass and tail- and headlight cover and blinker covers for Rallycross
barstow is my favorite vehicle in the game, nobody uses it in videos, despite the hours of videos I had watched on BeamNG before hand, i didn't even know it was in the game until i actually got it and played it myself, such a shame
I don't like your sunburst remaster mostly because of the headlights. You said it was a 2009 car, so it doesn't need to have those daylight running lights and the headlights could look simpler.
the SBR4 has some nods to the Lexus LFA like the vents below the lights.
i actually forgot the barstow even existed, definitely needs one.

The great endless loop of new vehicles and remasters arriving, and old vehicles feeling outdated and obsolete.
What I want to see Is having more lighting inside the car because it feels dark and gloomy inside my opinion
please dont make a Boxer/Flat 4 Sunburst, the whole idea of that car is being a Subaru Impreza with a Mitsubishi Lancer engine.

Dang, hitting the ground running with my first two picks for "cars that need the remaster the worst" as your first two picks. I specifically don't use the Barstow much because it's so outdated. IMHO all of the "classic" cars need at least a little love.
I'd love the heck out of a Sunburst Wagon! Also, the Sunburst is about as bad as the pre-remaster BX, and is a fan favorite especially among influencers. I expect/hope to see it get its day in the spotlight soon. Possibly in the update after next? As another user noted we're likely to see an i-Series update (refresh? It seems reasonably fresh to me) as our next one.
Surprised you touched on the SBR4. While I love it for the same reason you do - it's unlike anything else and is the most original vehicle in the game - I also noted that it's one of the more up-to-date vehicles.
I personally would have included the Hopper instead of the SBR4. It's gotten a LITTLE bit of love during 0.27 via the Crawler version, but I imagine this is low on the priorities list because "everyone is burned out on offroading content" and there'll be a minor rebellion if the devs release a remaster anytime soon.

When it comes to the Sunburst, I would add 1.4L and 1.6L petrol engines and introduce a diesel engine, like 1.7L. The 1.8L engine and a 6-speed manual transmission make this car to seem too fast, for a base model.
Following the fact that Sunburst IS mechanically based on the latest gen. Lancer, it should have a 100-110HP engine (Lancer had a 1.5L Mivec producing about this much)
And about body styles, I would go with the Mazda 3 from this period to add a hatchback variant.

The westward isn’t that old, it just doesn’t have very much potential in terms of modifications/configs
I love your refresh of the sunburst I just think that the grill would look much better if it was in the same area as the old sunburst as I love the sunburst grill but otherwise it is the best looking remaster made by a beamng fan I have ever seen. Great job on it 😄
The sbr turned into a BRZ
There is a mod for the sbr4 remaster and it looks really good. The beamdevs could simply take that model, get it to dev quality level and it would be a perfect remaster/revamp tbh.
No matter how good a mod is, it doesn't nearly match the quality. Also that'd be lazy
Though i think the remasters would look cooler but i'm gonna miss the old versions when they do get remastered like how i miss the old Cover, Bolide, T-Series and 200BX.
Hirochi Sunburst
Sunburst has loads of mods to enhance it at least. With reworked interiors, Lights, Coupe body and such.

the only reason i dont want the cars to get a remaster because of my fav mods that come with the cars.and also my fav car is the sunburst and ur refresh looks like the facelift mod that i got for the sunburst
D-series, H-series, and Roamer should all get a modernized version
H-Series goes up to 2016 I believe. It's fairly modern.
The d-series has already been remastered a couple of times over the years, plus it has so many configs that I think changing it would take AGES

the chrome changing is something that happens with many cars on that map, whether its just high beams, or any lights at all.

I think it's much later than 2021, but recently BeamNG has been out-sourcing their models by some company who doesn't create them specifically to be compatible with the Jbeams, so updated BeamNG cars tend to have more spikiness and other deformation issues after crashes.
I also wish that devs add Right-Hand-Drive dashboard to SBR4 and Sunburst when remastered. (and all Ibishu cars that don't have RHD Dashboard)
When we someday have a Vanilla map thats set in a RHD Country that would make sense for the developers.

I think that the sbr4 needs a remaster the most (or atleast more parts) since it has 2 paint designs which both are not factory and one is a powerglow and also it does not have almost ANY aftermarket parts except the splitters and wing. I actually made a drift config for it with a quick ratio drift steering WHICH IS VANILLA BUT IS NOT USED IN A SINGLE CONFIG and it looks like a stock sbr with some stickers a white and red paint design and custom wheels and tires.
I think they should redo the whole Hiroshi series in one update, even minor ones like refreshing the sunburst, and Miramar. And making the sbr4 the "SB" series.
2:00 That fender really shoul be on the side fender right behind the front wheel, there is no logical explenation behind having a fender on the door. Otherwise great design.

maybe the next remaster in the next update will be etk I due to a version of glambler 500 that he received recently. Let's enjoy remastering this car until the next remaster.
There were a lot of cars that really deserve a remaster/refresh but the developers can't do it all in one update, and it would also take a long time because there are a lot of cars. Some cars that I love that need a remaster are the Hirochi Sunburst, it needs a remaster and it is also a very forgotten car, it needs more versions and also a new variation.
i remember when they added i series... it looks the same.. STILL some v8 variant and interior remaster will be awesome

I really want the Burnside Special to be given some proper love and care. It's a beautiful looking car, and there's a disappointing lack of configurations and customization available for it. I would like to see a kind of crazy engine swap option, maybe an Ibishu 4 cylinder or even a Vivace 5 cylinder, just something you wouldn't expect to see or hear in a classic car. Not to mention, despite having one of the most detailed interiors in the game when it was implemented, it looks quite dated compared to some of the other interiors.
I thing all ETK's needs remaster tbh
That is insane I love the revisions mate they are just spot on, and I also love the editing and the little flashes they are really cool! I hope the devs see this and are able to remaster these cars and maybe just fix a few of the low quality textures and stuff, amazing vid!

Out of all the cars I would want remastered, it would have to be the Moonhawk. I wish the remaster would pull more aesthetic from the ‘73 Chevelle in terms of the grill and just in general the textures NEED a refresh, they look as bad and even a bit worse than the Sunburst’s interior.
It would be fun if they made the ability to fit awd to the barstow, bluebuck, burnside and moonhawk. We know how wild they are with rwd. Imagine how insane they could be.
Of the cars i would like a remaster of are the four stated above.
Also if we could get some sort of 1920 car so we could build a proper hot/rat rod that would be cool.
It would also be fun to have a car so stupid and ugly that its hillarius.
Feel like we need a muscle car themed update, with Moonhawk, Barstow, Burnside, and maybe a new 80s-90s era muscle car. But Sunburst and Miramar need attention too, just saw a common theme in unupdated American muscle 😭

I think the Ibishu hopper is the only one missing from that list, I usually drive from cockpit view, and can't distinguish any features of the interior on that car.
You turned the SBR4 into kinda Porsche/Subaru BRZ mix and I think it looks really good!

You definitely got most of the cars except for a few the etk i series, the older pessima, the grand marshal the hopper and the wentward I think could all use a remaster

A Pessima mk2 remaster would be good with some more tuning parts, rwd, a coupe variant..
It's one of the most recent cars to get remastered, and is now one of (if not) the best handling FWD cars in-game.
Not just a remaster but also new variants and some new customisation options etc
And then here's me waiting for the wentward remaster, lol
Just one thing, in a SBR4 rear lights at night when they are turned on looks pretty bad.
I really like your refreshes for all the cars, except the sunburst... idk I just don't like it, I do think that the KJLP mod does an excellent job of modernizing the sunburst though.
