I’ve been so discouraged by other “beginner” workouts where I’ve felt so incredibly limited, so I can’t overstate how much I appreciate your ACTUAL beginner workout. I tried it for the first time tonight and I didn’t feel that sense of shame and embarrassment and defeat I’ve felt with other videos. Even did more cardio afterwards. I used to be more fit but after a few years of various injuries and 2 motor vehicle accidents, I’ve become more stiff, less strong, and less agile. I’ve been trying to build my fitness back up this last half year and after your video I actually feel really hopeful for the first time in so long that I can truly get back in shape and feeling strong, agile, and healthy. Thank you!!!!!

Ana Barrientos I’m in the same position as you with back injuries and poor health reducing my fitness and strength. I started this a month and a half ago and have been able to move onto one of his other beginner (but much harder) workouts gradually - starting with 5mins (1 round) and now all of it. It’s so great to feel I can do something and not be put off by lots of jumping! You’ve got this! Good luck with your journey.

    This is so good.
Second time doing it, and I’m definitely stronger than the last time. I am more than 10 stone overweight, and since Isolation I have gained goodness knows how much weight. Tried to do PE with Joe, and at first it was great, I could almost keep up (with some adaptations- there’s no way my arse can do a burpee!) but I stopped doing it, and had to self isolate, so I wasn’t even going on the walks I was before. After isolation I went on a walk and struggled to breathe! When I was commuting to work in London, I was walking miles a day, walking up stairs to the office etc, so I was fat, but still reasonably fit. The struggling to breathe thing obviously filled me with a lot of anxiety so I just stayed in again, denying there was even a problem. Along came this gem of a video, and I’m squatting, jumping, bloody planking, punching, and feeling sooo good afterwards. Hopefully in a couple of weeks I will be able to do the PE sessions again for a bit of variety, but for now, this is great. Thanks for believing in us, Joe

I’ve lost 7st through diet and have the same to lose again so am looking to lose the rest with exercise as well as diet now. I won’t pretend I’m anything but shockingly unfit but this feels like a good start! I really appreciate you tailoring routines to various fitness levels, it can be very daunting to try one and not be able to do it at all, it’s very discouraging but I feel good about this one!

Totally love this workout Joe, love that you talk about finding our own motivation and you encourage the audience not to give up, plus you congratulate the audience on pressing play. I’d love to see more of this on the other workouts including intermediate and advanced. It’s brilliant to know how the exercises are going to change our bodies and mental health.
    Loving all your work Joe.

Ahhh Joe, it is with deep sincerity that I say THANK YOU. I have always battled with big weight problems thanks to food addiction. I did really well in 2017/18, losing 10 stone. But due to various circumstances and chronic illness I've put much of it back on and have been so depressed and discouraged, and my world has become very narrow. I've been close to rock bottom lately, always feeling like I'll never get back on track. Today, with very little energy or motivation, I decided to search for a beginner workout to try and I've just managed to get through all of this, talking back to you the whole way through. I finished and burst into tears because I finally made a positive step and feel like there might be a glimmer of hope. I actually feel like I want to do it again. I might have a little rest and see if I can do some of it again. And I'm going to try and do this workout at least once every day this coming week. I'm so grateful.

I can relate to much of what you have said. This video has been a real find. I've just got through the whole workout and haven't been able to exercise properly for about 18 months if not more, due to achilles tendonitis. I piled my weight back on but not quite all of it and finding this and being able to get through it (literally just now) is a Godsend. So grateful over here too! You got this. We have got this!

I've been finally seeing back problems crop up as I come up to 30, the even more sedentary experience of the pandemic felt like it made it worse. I've always been obese from a pretty young age and have lots of issues with lots of things. But I started with your sitting workout to try and begin somewhere gentle to avoid straining my back, and found I could do more. So I did this video. I did both! It's been years but I really hope I can build up some strength in my core and get my body fitter and have less discomfort. I have to start somewhere! Thank you so mu h for this video 🙆‍♂️

Great video content! Forgive me for chiming in, I would love your opinion. Have you heard the talk about - Mackorny Amazing penis Blueprint (do a google search)? It is a smashing one of a kind product for getting a bigger penis minus the headache. Ive heard some decent things about it and my friend Sam after a lifetime of fighting got cool results with it.

Excellent workout Joe!!! Have just done this with my Mum, we've been doing the senior ones together as a warm-up for me doing PE with you. Mum might be a bit dead now, but she completed the whole thing - she has a collection of chronic pain illnesses - and although she's knackered, she feels so much better!!! Thank you, thank you for this and your senior workouts 😁 They're keeping us active and happy while we have to socially distance with us both being high risk. You're bloody ace 😁

I'm 73 and never really exercised before bar walking. I've started various exercises over the years but this is the only one I've stuck to. The only one where I look forward to doing them. So, this is my 5th week with you. How do I feel? Hot, breathless, shattered.... But I'm smiling and laughing. My mental health has improved immeasurably. Thank you so much. My water runs out too lol

Been doing this workout for around two weeks now.. Really seeing results. I feel so much better in myself. I struggle with chronic migraines and exercising honestly is normally the last thing I want to do but I've been doing this on my lunch break and my headache is so much better, I feel much less stressed going back to work(wfh) and so energised. Thank you Joe!! 😊😊How you feel after you've done it is definitely such a motivator and not the scales😁😁

I'm not brand new to exercise nor is my lifestyle sedentary, I was very athletic as a teenager but due to being critically injured by a drunk driver at age 18 had to give up sport. These low impact exercises are very helpful as my body never fully recovered and I've been doing my best to remain mobile for many years now. If I sit and do nothing all day I will be in more pain. It's not just seniors or those who are very out of shape that can benefit from your videos. I was really worried that lockdown would mean the arthritis getting worse due to not being able to do aqua aerobics or a yoga class or any strengthening work at the gym.
