I know that Tasha's said that you don't need to be an elf to make this build. I made this build a very long time ago, and forgot to change the script for it. But I do still think that Shahar Kai is an extremely good race to pick for this class. Anyway thanks for watching!
My favourite wizard tank is much less melee focused, but more defensive focused. Mark of Warding Dwarf Artificer 1/ Abjuration Wizard X. The whole package just works so well. Less AC than bladesinger, but not by much, and actually the same/ more if you get magic items for armour and shields. But it patches bladesingers low health with Armour of Agatha’s and Blade Ward. On top of that you’ve got a massive buffer of HP where any melee attacks against you just shred through enemy’s if they dare attack you. And this is easily recharged, so it’s much easier for you to “heal”. Lots more of the kit just works so well together for a great defensive package, with an excellent offence if you actually get hit
Yeah, if I am being honest, over the past few weeks I have been reading up on Artificer and I want to put them in a lot more builds. I didnt really know too much about them before today but they can make some great Character Concepts.
The DPS part of the builds is always fun. Bladesinger is a really cool class in general when I get back to DMing one of my players is one and they have a very interesting spell list for it. As a player though I would be interested in trying the roleplay aspect of this specific build. Shadar-Kai are a really different race of elves who revel in pain and battle, so playing this class, in theory to level 20 would be kind of cool. Slowly, growing stronger after every encounter realizing that you need to continue to challenge yourself to revel in that combat and please the Raven Queen. And if you die at the end of the campaign against the BBEG after finding it a worthy foe, perfect.
If I recall, I tuned in a couple years ago on I think your Moon Druid build and something else. Anyway! I don't remember you having such a high production quality or any comedy lol so that's awesome to see you've only improved =]
A player in my group plays a really good blade singer with I think 26 Ac without shield due to being a lich. In our setting wizards can also copy spells of an class so he’s been abusing that very well too.
Amazing Build. I have some comments Why does it say World of Warcraft? Also, in Tasha's they removed the elf restriction on bladesinging Mage armor is good for bladesinger's AC
World of War craft? I made this build LONG before Tashas came out, and I think the race choice works really well and didn't want to change it after Tashas came out but forgot to remove that part in the script Yes mage armor is great and thats why at the end of the video I said that AC can vary between 26 and 30
why do you need constitution saving throw proficiency when warcaster gives advantage on saving throws for concentration and you shouldnt need to make such saves too often since the abjuration wizard's shield doesnt count as your HP so you dont need to make saves when its hit? grab a couple levels in warlock instead for short-rest spell slots and armor of shadows invocation

@@MoonIllusionOfficial I gotcha. I love the build.
@@laclaypool7651 Thanks I really appreciate it!
You can't use a shield while bladesinging
You can use the spell shield which is what I did
do the best minion-mancer
If you really want this build made go check out my patreon. On of the benefits is getting your own build featured on the channel.

I was wondering when I would see this comment
