I think you should give the examination. There are many universities that don't have an age limit. You can research about the universities later but you should definitely give the examination.

It completely depends upon you and your understanding of English literature as you haven't done graduation in English Literature. Definitely focus on the history of English Literature and literary terms then move to other topics. Study smartly and selectively.

Yes. There are certain universities that allow students from any graduation degree to choose a different subject for their masters program. But be sure to check the eligibility criteria of the respective Universities first.

No it's different.
For GATE, maths reasoning basic English grammar and GS comes under general aptitude.
Ma'am kindly add English subtitles as most of our North eastern students doesn't understand Hindi well.
