    We started with a 10watt Diode in December, added a 40w CO2 (K40) in March, and will get our Aeon Mira 7 in July. Our glidepath is for us to be full-time laser by next summer. Thanks for the motivation to get moving.

    The reason your RUclips channel is so successful. In my opinion even if it’s just a simple, thanks you acknowledge the viewers, and that alone makes them feel like they’re part of the family. Besides that you have an encouraging and an upbeat personality, both you and your wife, Which also draws people in often times I get discouraged with this stuff and then I catch a video of yours that I haven’t seen in a while and it rejuvenate me to move forward feeling like I’ve got a little support and hope behind me to continue doing what I’m doing

    We got a used (unbranded) K40 laser just 4 weeks ago for £200 ($257) & started off making slate coasters & selling just through word of mouth and the laser paid for its self within a week of us making our first coaster, football (soccer) team logos are very popular on engraved & sublimated goods here in Scotland, that's what's on most of our sold goods, we're working on designs for Halloween now,
    Another cool video mate, a few of your others have been helpful for us so far & they're always good to watch and take in 👍

    Just got my atomstack a10 pro, I have one client wanting me to engrave a headstone for their ma, and a couple friends wanting guns customized, so I'm using templates for the design and changing it to fit them personally (so far my favorite project is a handgun, dude wanted a punisher skull and I already had some skull designs, so I've taken a Pic of his punisher tattoo and did some heavy editing to the templates I have so I can turn out CUSTOM WORK and not be a lazy Joe doing duplicated "custom" designs...
    Nothing would piss me off more than going to show off a "custom" engrave, just to find out other people have that exact same design.. so that's my biggest "law" when it comes to offering custom engraving... making sure it's actually custom and not 1/1000

    • @laserengravingwithmatt
      @laserengravingwithmatt  Год назад +2

      Heck yeah. In case you didn’t know you have to be licensed to do any kind of guns.

    • @leifhindes9568
      @leifhindes9568 Год назад

      Well, I believe in America and the freedom of choice this country provides its citizens.. I'm not buying/selling firearms, I only handle inoperable parts, for all intent and purpose, as far as I know the slide is a fancy shaped peice of metal and the lower frame could be from a bb gun lookalike.. as long as the client provides me with material and I return the material to the same person, I don't see any issue, as I won't even take a complete, I have the owner break down so that I only handle raw materials (metal/plastic/wood) and not the product that requires licensing to handle
      As long as I'm not dealing firearms, or handling a complete assembly of them I should be clear right?

      We do use Etsy I don’t put our main Etsy shop in the description or tell people because if I have thousands of people going and looking at my shop every day it pushes me to the bottom because of the algorithm because no one would buy stuff they just wanna see what I’m selling

      @@laserengravingwithmatt Thanks, Matt. That makes good sense. I may give Etsy a try. My business is a bit unique. I own several lasers because I do reviews of them. For my business, I only sell one product but it keeps me pretty busy. The product is just an item that is valuable to my blog readers niche so I already had a customer base from the blog. I am a little hesitant to try Etsy because I don't want to get too busy and not be able to keep up. I'm older and retired from my career so ten-hour days are too tough for me now. I'm doing about six-hour days. I could handle a little more but not much. Thanks again for all the great content.
