How fun to see both of your notifications at the same time! This woods be a great time for me to switch my alarm to five because I’ve had strange hours since time change… no problem with one more change! Thanks ladies! I’ll probably be going to bed at five tonight so I can get a head start! 😉
In the summer I wake at 5 so I can go out and garden before it gets hot. I will garden for a couple hours, then go in and get ready for work. It is a great way to start my day and there is no guilt about totally relaxing after work.
That’s the one thing that has annoyed me about the people who claim to wake up really early - they always seem to fail to mention anything about what time they have to go to bed to make up for that 5am wake up time and it seems like such an important detail! Thank you for actually talking about that!! ❤
The key thing to remember is that most people need 7 to 8 hours of sleep each night, so plan to go to bed at whatever time will fit accordingly to get that amount of sleep by the time you want to wake up.
Eat when you're actually hungry, sleep when you're tired. The trick is recognizing when it's need vs a want, vs habit and boredom. I have never needed more than 3 or 4 hrs sleep and I wake up early and without an alarm clock. That's me, but it might be you too.
The best advice I have heard about mornings is wake up when you need to. There is no magic number, but don’t hit snooze ten times. I work very late and there is no possibility I can get up at 5am and face down an 18 hour day. That would change my life for the worse. And I can’t out-awake my extremely early rising husband and son, so that quiet morning time doesn’t exist in my home. But it does exist at night when I get home from work. I’m glad you carved out time for yourself to start your day right. I think that’s the goal, not the specific time. Take time for yourself, get up when you need to get up, and try to start your day as peacefully as you can.
You can maybe? Maybe I hope you can stay in your bedroom or wherever you wake up or go somewhere to still get alone time right when you wake up for hopefully some minutes or half an hour.
It was the best decision I have ever made! I always get home super tired from work, so I decided to wake up at 5 to do the chores, have time to sit and have a nice breakfast and make dinner. I work 12 hours a day, so when I get home, I can relax eat dinner with my husband and my dogs and cats. I love it!
Me too! A couple of years ago I was getting up at 6 AM. But one Autumn when we moved our clocks back one hour, I popped awake at 5 AM for several mornings since that was the old 6 AM, and I loved my extra hour of "me time, so I set my alarm for 5 AM from then on. Thanks for the cute video, Ariel. ❤
I found that I functioned so much better as a human being to get up at least an hour before my kids did when they were babies. I typically get up 4 or 5 in the morning and always have. I work out in the mornings, read my devotionals, etc. I get so much done in the morning. I know so many people prefer to go to bed w a super clean home (dishes and all). I go to bed early though. And I’m a morning person anyway so I’d rather get up and wash remaining dishes than stay up late washing them. At night, my thoughts as I do dishes is “no one appreciates me or they wouldn’t leave this for me to do” but in the morning, these thoughts go thru my mind, “oh my sweet husband did this small thing last night to help me” “oh my youngest packed her lunch last night, I want to put a love note inside to surprise her!” Having quiet time in the morning before the rush of the day is absolutely key to a joyful and productive day
I got up early for work for years. Now I’m retired I love waking up naturally. My sleep cycle changes with the seasons, waking naturally makes me feel so much better.
Yes! Yes! Yes! Same! Over a year ago I started getting up at 5:30. I work and have grown kids, so prior it was 6:30 on weekdays-just enough time to eat, get dressed and get out the door, and sleeping in on days off. That's how I treated myself, by sleeping in. But now it is 5:30 work or day off. I enjoy my coffee and spend at least an hour in Bible study. Life changing 100%
I’m so excited about this!! I’m retired, usually get up by 6am but don’t get the best sleep at night, so no useful routine. Dragging for the first couple hours, drinking coffee, watching TV, RUclips very little Bible reading. April 1st starting and will challenge by sister to the same! 😬😆
I'm a night person. When we got a puppy I promised him I would get up at 7 to feed him. (Puppies wake up VERY early.) I've been doing it for a few years, thanks to the cat who sleeps on my bed and yowls at me once 7:15 rolls around. Problem is I keep staying up too late. Crazy, I know! I will re-double my efforts to be in bed at 11 pm. We NEED appropriate sleep! Thank you, Ariel!
After watching your video, i went over to watch Marissa of A to Zen Life. Love both of your conclusions! This has challenged me to start getting up earlier with intention. Retired and widowed, so there hasn't been anyone here to keep me accountable for my day. You and Marissa have helped to change my outlook, thanks! As always, I love the humor you put into your videos!
I'm happy this worked for you. I honestly cannot handle waking up early it makes me physically ill, to the point of hospitalization. My body hates it, no matter how early I go to sleep. All of the benefits you listed are things that are also easily done late at night after everyone else goes to bed, so that's the magic hour for me.
You are just so funny and really delightful!!! Also the fact that you share your faith, is just so relatable! Not many people here in Switzerland practice their belief, so locals think you’re strange, if you profess your faith… Thank you so much for taking us with you through your experience of getting up so early! 🙏 I am wanting to try this too…. Bless you and your family, Ariel
You talk in a way that makes sense to my brain!! I've always dug in my heels about waking up early or routines. This gives me a lot to think about. Thank you!
I've been getting up and exercising at 5am since my youngest was 10 months old, he's now 18, my morning routine is the thing that has kept and still keeps me sane over the years, great video 😊
When my kids were small, I did this and it makes a huge difference. I felt it helped me be a better mom to get up and have some me time before they woke up. I never managed to go to bed early enough. Instead I perfected the after lunch power nap & that did the trick. I could manage the schedule long term that way. 😊
I used to have a morning airport shift and it was awesome. Enough sleep (going to bed at a single digit hour) and synchronizing with the sun does a lot of good for you. try it fellow humans. the isolation from other people by itself is worth it
You made this video at the perfect time! Thank you! I just finished reading this book last week and attempted to wake up at 6 on friday and fell asleep on my couch during silence time until my kids woke up. I was feeling really discouraged after that but your video makes me excited to try again for my miracle morning tomorrow! I really hope that I can stick to the 30 days because I really want to be the best version of myself for my family.
Great video. Since my dad passed away I haven't been motivated. I used to read the Bible and pray with him. He needed care daily so i made sure we did that. Now I get up just in time for work or whatever i have planned. I'm going to try this even though i too dread it. Lol
I found your video together with Marissa’s very motivating. I’m retired so early for me is 8:00 instead of 9:30. More important to me is the morning routine. I was one who got up and unless I needed to be somewhere went right on the computer and lost all track of time. The routine I,m now trying is getting up and being quiet and thinking them reading some affirmations, journaling, then reading. I already walk every morning and I want to add some stretching as well. Just not jumping on the computer has been an eye opener for me. Having a routine is really helping. Thank you.
Wow! You're made of stronger stuff than I am. Your daughter is getting so big! And she's so cute!! Alas, my biggest takeaway from this was that I MUST try dunking my ice cream bar in my coffee sometime, but it makes me happy to see you practicing good self-care. 💕💕
Thank you for making this video! I mean, thank you for everything you do, really. I’ve been feeling convicted today to stop consuming SO MUCH information online. I’ve felt so close to a breaking point, so frustrated at how little time I get to myself and how much there is to do all the time. I think waking up early like this may be an answer for me and this video feels like such a wonderful nudge in the right direction! ❤️
I feel everything you're saying and I'm so happy that this resonated with you ❤️ I hope waking up early gives you that extra kick you need like it did for me!!
I did that for years and I felt miserable every day. I do have that time to do all those morning things, but I do them after 10pm. I've also read that it's pretty normal for autistic people, like myself, to have a different circadian rhythm than neurotypical people. I usually have a hard time concentrating any time before noon and get most of my good thinking and work done in the late evening to early morning (as in 1-2am... sometimes 3am). I had to get up early when I had small kids, but those days are over. I get plenty of quiet time now, I just get it in the evening.
We all have to honor our circadian rhythms and work schedules. I’m a nightbird who works late. I get my quiet time after dark, not before it. It’s not about any magic number, it’s about taking time for yourself and caring for yourself, whatever time of day is best for that.
I hear you. I have an autistic son who is a blessing. He has trouble sleeping usually 1 or 2 days a week, so it is not easy to have a regular sleep schedule. We just get it when we can.☺️ He's a joy! He loves life everyday. God bless you.
Great video!!! So happy for you! Retired now, but when my kids were little I tried to wake up early to have quiet time but it was like they had esp. They woke up when I woke up no matter what. Kind of took the incentive away, but your lesson is so true. Too often I am not intentional and opportunities are lost. We need to know why we are here and where we want to arrive. You are so funny. The baby obviously got Dad's head of hair! 😂 We are all going to be so jealous of it when she is older. Such gorgeous curls!!! Surprised you don't have a million subscribers. Hope the algorithm gets your videos out there.
Good for you, Ariel. I have always been an early riser (with the exception of some teen years) and I LOVE it. The cat tissue to dry your tears had me rolling. Hahahahaha!🤣
I’ve never been a morning person but always a night owl. I’m trying now to switch it but it’s not easy. I’m retired and no steady routine. I do enjoy my coffee without my electronic devices. We all need to make time for our thoughts in peace. Thanks Ariel.
Todd got up at 5 for nearly 30 years. He really valued that time. Now that he is retired, he matches my 7. I think you are making such great choices for yourself and your family. Intention is a life changer.
My goal is 7am. I’m a late sleeper according to most people. I get up at 9:30am. But my husband works 7p-7a Monday through Thursday. So the weekend he’s on a later schedule. We get our stuff done and usually settle down for a movie around 9-9:30pm. Bed between midnight to 1:00am. Sometimes I wake up earlier and can’t go back to sleep so I just get up. I’m a empty nester so it doesn’t really matter what time I get up, but when my granddaughters stay or I go on vacation with family, they’re in bed 9-10 pm and up with the sun.
@@wendyduncan9084 well, my husband works night shift 7p-7a. So on his off days we spend time together in the evenings. Which is late compared to people who get up at 5am. We rarely go to bed before midnight. If I read a book and went to bed early just to get up at 5am, we wouldn’t have that time together. It doesn’t really bother me, except for when my granddaughters stay, who are age 7 and under, and they get me up as soon as the sun comes out. They only stay overnight once or twice a month. The other times are on family vacations with my mom and siblings. They all work day shift, some get up as early as 3am and go to bed at 6-7p. So for now, I’ll have to wait until retirement to make the switch. I’m around my husband more than the others. Priority. Also on his off days, he may work the night before and get to bed at 8am.
A good morning routine is *so* important. One that feels energising - not just like a chore. There is something very beautiful and calming about the morning. I don't think I will be joining the 5.00 club just yet... But I definitely want to create more of a routine, and actually get up at 6.00 when my alarm starts. I used to be really good about my morning routines, but things in your life shifts with time, so I have kind of been in a slump for a while.
I'm so proud of you. Losing a piece of ourselves after becoming moms is real. Reclaiming your space, time and love for yourself is one of the greatest "parenting" moves you can make. Healthy, happy moms & dads make healthy, happy parents & kids. Keep going, you're doing it!
Good for you Ariel. I am accustomed to getting up early due to my profession. I am a retired nurse/ nurse practitioner. I love the mornings that provide me with peace and quiet. When I was working I also did my exercises then after rising now I do them later in the day since I like to get my housework/chores done in the am. I save the afternoons for exercise & errands. I started to do daily devotions over advent and that has been a real blessing in my life. I feel so much more peace and less worry. I’m glad you are taking time out for yourself because it is important in today’s hectic fast paced world.
❤So glad you tried this challenge! I woke up (w/hubby) every weekday early for that quiet time- breakfast for the body & Bible time for the soul- before the kids got up and homeschooling 😊 Made such a difference! Thanks for this encouragement for others!
I've tried so many times to be a morning person and i just can't do it. Now that I'm retired, I don't have to so I just go with my body clock. I find night times to be the best time for reading and meditation. Sometimes I'm a little envious of morning people, but I decided not to fight my nature anymore. 🤷♀️
I agree it shouldn’t be a specific time. I think the important thing is intention, having time in your day for quiet, and getting enough sleep. I love Awkward Mom’s video and glad it worked for her.
I've watched a lot of these 'wake up at 5am' videos and you're the 1st and only one that's talked about how early you have to go to sleep to wake at 5! Thank you. Also, great video, I enjoyed watching.
Hi Ariel, I hadn't properly touched my Bible for a very long time. And I need to have the minimum 7 hours sleep in the proper hours, but I failed big time... I did try but I'm an owl and I just lost my motivations 😢 I'm so happy you're willing to touch on the topic of reading your Bible in the morning 😊 Sleep early/wake up early, reading Bible and devotion time are the 3 main things I've been struggling with for a very long time. I thank God that you accepted the challenge and posted it. I pray that I can archive these 3 issues that are missing in my life 🙏🏼
God’s answer to my cry: use an audio Bible and it has helped me keep devotionals, spare my eyes, and quiet time afterwards. Also, lots of new ones with dramatization!
@@aikofujita2420 I tried audio Bible few years ago, the problem with me is that the words don't "stick into my brain" and I can't highlight the words as I would if I read an actual Bible = water over a duck's back. But thanks for the suggestion 🙂 Last night was the first time I got into bed before 11pm without the phone in my hand, but a book. Even though I wasn't able to fall asleep until after 11:20pm, I woke up naturally before 5am. I've read the Bible again and even got time to do the dishes, in the morning! Being a full time worker, with less than 6 hours sleep, not sure how will the rest of today be, but at least I've read my Bible again, 6 chapters in [feel like I'm playing catch up 🥴] 🙏🏼
Yes, I personally would like to do this. My youngest sleeps in what would be our dinner area. Since this place has an open concept, noise travels. I also have carpul, so dropping things is part of my regular schedule. I am a very noisy person. Please take advantage of having a 2nd floor for your family to sleep. You can quietly exercise, and take advantage of the morning ❣️❣️🐝🐛🐤🐤🐇
I have heard this for years and didn't start doing it until I HAD to for my job. And the difference is astounding. Thank you for reminding me to stay on it even though we are on Spring Break and I wasn't really doing it the month leading up to break either.
This is my first video from you. Liked and subscribed! I’m 45 years old, a mother of seven and grandmother of one, who has been homeschooling for 23 years. My sleep cycle is still that of a spoiled high school drop out. I stay up as late as I want and sleep in as late as I want. And I have TRIED to “beat the kids up” (please have a sense of humor). I get stuck at a week or two tops. This video is SO honest and cute. Thank you for the fresh encouragement to TRY AGAIN! ❤
Thanks for your insight. I always enjoy your videos. I've been a 5 am'er since the 90's. Gave me time to ruminate, exercise and prepare a breakfast before leaving for work. I retired two years ago and tried to allow myself to sleep in. Once in a while I can, but I feel hung over the rest of the day. Getting up at 5 am does require me to be in bed by 9:30 or 10, but at this age, not much is going on at that time of night anymore.
Good morning, Ariel😀 I am new here🧑 I come from Poland✈ I've been watching you for a few days and I think I'm in love❣🤔 Thank you for your videos🙏 In a way, you changed my life🌈 I get up in the morning and clean my apartment🕔 Thanks to your tips, everything goes quickly and smoothly🧙 A wife like you is a treasure🥇 Sometimes your faces in movies scare me🧟♀but it's fun😁 I like how you tell your stories in movies👄 there is a family atmosphere👶👧🧔 I wish you all the best⭐ Kisses😘
So I tried the 75 HARD challenge (but it was more of a 63 soft challenge) and for the outdoor workout, I had to get up at 5am (only available time) and I walked for 45 minutes... I figured out real quick mornings are where it's at to help quiet the mind and be refreshed for the day. Now that the challenge is over, I still get up for my morning walk. You are not crazy, it is wonderful to wake up early :) and the kids love it too since I'm less of a grouch.
I enjoy my alone time at night. The only issue is that my family won't let me lie in after. I know society praises waking up early, but night times can be similarly productive and intimate with your thoughts.
Sweet Ariel, so happy that you have created a special time of silence for yourself that has helped you to take better care of yourself. The baby has the greatest hair to match those beautiful Ariel eyes. Big hugs and blessings for you and your incredible family. 💋💋💋💋
I love your video! I just watched Marissa's video 5 minutes before yours! I have been getting up at $ AM for over 25 years- i love the quiet and time for reflection!
Hi all😊 New here. Loved the video. Glad your shared about going to bed earlier.i cant imagine keeping this up for long witha normal bedtime. For those who have no children, are retired, etc, and dont want or need to get up at 5AM ( pick another hour that's earlier) and rock it! I think the " intention" " quiet time" and other suggestions from Hal Elrod's book are wonderful. My preference is to take what works for me and leave the rest. I love customization. All the very best y'all. 💟
Well done for managing to make this change with very small kids! I have only been able to get up early since getting older. I now absolutely love it, like you, and want to be consistent with it. In the UK it's easy to get up very early in the summer, not so much in the depths of winter when it's dark! And yes, it does mean going to bed earlier, but I don't do much with my evenings most of the time anyway, so I might as well!
I LOVE that book!!! Hal says to do the miracle morning routine with each task taking 10 minutes & a total of 1 hour. I know I would sometimes take longer journaling. Luckily, my 1 y/o daughter wakes up around 8am & I can get some work done too!! I stopped doing it a few months ago & I haven't gone back on it. I want an accountability partner who wants to do it with me. I'm not sure where to find one though!! I recommend checking out The Miracle Morning documentary, I believe it's free on YT!! I'd love an update in a few months to see if you've stuck with it & how you're feeling! Thanks for the reminder that this is such a great routine!!
The peace brought to us at 5 am is incredible! Its been hard for me to do it nowadays cause ive been sleeping in however, getting ready to start again! Loved ur channel! Ur so funny lol
My days are always much harder when I wake up the same time as my daughter. Having that quiet time alone first thing in the morning is amazing. Gives me some time to get myself together instead of immediately jump into mom mode, changing a diaper and having to feed a hungry baby while still trying to fully wake up myself.
Your videos are such a vibe, I'm obsessed with them. I've struggled with the early wake-ups for a long time, but I might try this is two weeks is how long it takes to adapt!
Man, I wish I could have some sort of morning routine! Every parenting I’ve seen about SAHM always mentions the importance of waking up before your kids. Unfortunately, being someone who does night shift part time and then having to be up with my baby at 8AM, there is just no world in which I could have this. I love your content so much and it is all so motivating.
Thank you for this video; I watch them for quite a while . Especially that you are honest and name the difficulty and things that come into the way. I am in a different age , but I realized that I have to change my life so I can enjoy it again. I will try if those early risings help me coming round again. At least I have to prepare for the next 30 years or more. I wish thriving Life to you, your family and everybody watching the video!!!
Hi aerial, would it be possible for you to do a video that shows you working out so we can follow along? I absolutely love your humour and watching a workout video run by you would be very encouraging. Or even a workout video / pictures with your voice over. Thank you for considering 😊
Quiet time is so valuable. Although I get mine laying in bed after I woke up. You can also get thinking time doing cardio. Running is brilliant for mental rest.
I'm glad you are able to enjoy this. I have teens that I have to pick up from work and other things happening. Going to bed early isn't an option. I also have health issues that make my body unable to function for over an hour in the mornings and it takes three hours before I can do physical work. My problem with the miracle morning is that it doesn't allow for individual needs. There are many people that need to exercise at the end of the day but Hal doesn't recognize this. It's so important we find what works for US.
This is really true. Anything prescriptive isn't going to fit everyone. I think the message should be about helping you find where in your day all these things can happen, in a way that suits you.
@@claremiller9979 yes, I do appreciate what I got from the miracle morning book. Making time for each of those things in my day is powerful (when I do them) but they won't likely be in the morning for me 😊. I love that Ariel (sp?) is able to get time for herself. That's sooo important. At this stage, mornings are working for her. That's cool. Another stage may require her to make a change and that's cool too. Another person in a similar situation may not be able to do morning and that's cool too.
I’ve discovered I enjoy my workouts when I do them in the afternoon, but I’ve felt drawn to wanting to get up early just so the first thing I do isn’t rushing to get ready for the day. I’m going to ease into waking up early to do something I enjoy!
I'm up a 6am every morning and love it I've done it for many years, I do a few jobs around my home and then I go for a hour walk then come back home finish the rest of my jobs around my home, imvon my feet always moving I do between 15k to 20k steps a day, I don't like being still as I have arthritis all over me, moving is good, and early morning's are good too.
I have encouraged a lot of young moms to get up an hour or so before the rest of their household does just to BE - to be an individual before transitioning to wife and mommy. I would wake up at 4 am when my children were at home, hydrate, workout for an hour, shower, get my hair and a little bit of make up done, dress (I always encourage at least jeans and a t-shirt, not clean pj’s, leggings or sweat- dressing as if you are going to receive guests is what I mean) and then have quiet time with God and yourself before starting your normal day of being a SAHM or needing to get everyone up, fed, out the door to school and/or work. Yes, you go to bed earlier- our kids, when under 13, were in bed by 7:30 and once 13-until high school graduation they were in bed at 8:30; husband and I were in bed by 9-9:30pm- yes, we had intimate time AND we implemented a date night each week, even if it was just sitting in the car in the driveway making out because we were too broke to go any where or taking a walk around the block while our neighbor sat with the kids, as we made better financial choices and better money, we were able to pay a babysitter and actually go to a movie or to dinner and a movie or just leave the neighborhood to get away and be the couple we were before kids. After 41 years of marriage and working outside the home for the past 29 years, I still wake up at 4am and have my time to myself before leaving the house at 6:15am to head to work- I love the habits I implemented at 26 with 3 small children and I can’t see myself changing that habit anytime soon.
The alarm goes off at 5:15am because of Hubby's job. I go back to bed about half the time after he leaves. I might try the water and no phone thing this week. It's almost 6:30am now and I just finished my protein cereal, which was not awful! Aldi cookies and cream protein powder and milk blended with a coffee frother. Put Mini Reeces Puffs and sliced banana in another bowl and cover with protein milk. Here's to trying small changes that can make a big difference!
I really enjoy how real you are in your videos. It makes me actually trust you when you promote something as atrocious as waking up early! I have a baby and 2 older kids, who are all unfortunately early risers. I might actually try this!
@@ThatAwkwardMom I've been doing it! (minus one morning after my baby had a terrible night) Including drinking water.! Freezing cold water straight from the fridge is the worst though, so I let it sit out while I do my devotional time haha. I can honestly agree with you. I'm not going back. It's only been 4 mornings now, but I already love it. And your obvious-not-obvious tip to go to bed earlier is key. Early mornings forever!
I love your channel ❤️ every time you post a video I get so excited for nap time so I can listen to it!! Thanks for being a positive influence and for sharing your life and faith with us ❤

Thank you both for the motivation. Even retired, I need to get up earlier. I will challenge myself for April to do this!

As an evening worker, I feel you and approve of this message. 😂
It was the best decision I have ever made! I always get home super tired from work, so I decided to wake up at 5 to do the chores, have time to sit and have a nice breakfast and make dinner. I work 12 hours a day, so when I get home, I can relax eat dinner with my husband and my dogs and cats. I love it!
I love your humor. I like when I get up early but I also like staying up late. Late usually wins.

I know so many people prefer to go to bed w a super clean home (dishes and all).
I go to bed early though. And I’m a morning person anyway so I’d rather get up and wash remaining dishes than stay up late washing them.
At night, my thoughts as I do dishes is “no one appreciates me or they wouldn’t leave this for me to do” but in the morning, these thoughts go thru my mind, “oh my sweet husband did this small thing last night to help me” “oh my youngest packed her lunch last night, I want to put a love note inside to surprise her!”
Having quiet time in the morning before the rush of the day is absolutely key to a joyful and productive day
I watch my grandchildren and I’m up everyday at 5 so that I can get what I need done before they get here. Makes for a great day with my babies..❤
Your baby is ADORABLE! That hair-do! 😂
Awesome! Thank you!
And that's okay! We all have different needs and circadian rhythms! Gotta do whats best for your body :)
You are just so funny and really delightful!!! Also the fact that you share your faith, is just so relatable! Not many people here in Switzerland practice their belief, so locals think you’re strange, if you profess your faith… Thank you so much for taking us with you through your experience of getting up so early! 🙏
I am wanting to try this too….
I LOVE that you found time to read the Bible and have enjoyed it so much!
That's so cool!!! Yes, get to bed earlier, you'll be much less tired!
I’m looking for the book now! ❤
Great video. Since my dad passed away I haven't been motivated. I used to read the Bible and pray with him. He needed care daily so i made sure we did that. Now I get up just in time for work or whatever i have planned. I'm going to try this even though i too dread it. Lol
You got this ❤
Reading my Bible before my kids wake up is the only quiet i have haha
You snuggling with the kitty is sooooo cute!!
So glad you’re spending time with God each morning Ariel.
That’s so important 👍💕
Yes you must!!!!! But coffee ice cream works well too 😜
You are the best! Your baby's hair is the best!
What's funny is I'm sitting on my couch with coffee groggy from just waking up watching this video like you watched Gilmore girls. 😅
Same 😅
Great video!!!
I love your natural charm and humor.
Good for you, Ariel. I have always been an early riser (with the exception of some teen years) and I LOVE it. The cat tissue to dry your tears had me rolling. Hahahahaha!🤣
"Cat tissue"! I loved that bit, too!
@@cathyann6835 Maybe switch the movie to a book so you could sleep earlier? I really can’t get up early if I don’t go to bed really too.
Great video! But those kitty cat snuggles at 9:53 were a highlight 😭😂 so cute
I love the mornings that provide me
with peace and quiet.
I'm an early bird, and love my quiet mornings! So glad you've discovered the joy in them!
❤So glad you tried this challenge! I woke up (w/hubby) every weekday early for that quiet time- breakfast for the body & Bible time for the soul- before the kids got up and homeschooling 😊 Made such a difference! Thanks for this encouragement for others!
This was amazing!!💓💓💓 P.S. I hope your Grandma’s feeling like herself again.💖
She is!!
@@ThatAwkwardMom that’s wonderful news!!🙏💖✨🙌 thanks for the update!💕
I've tried so many times to be a morning person and i just can't do it. Now that I'm retired, I don't have to so I just go with my body clock. I find night times to be the best time for reading and meditation. Sometimes I'm a little envious of morning people, but I decided not to fight my nature anymore. 🤷♀️
I agree it shouldn’t be a specific time. I think the important thing is intention, having time in your day for quiet, and getting enough sleep. I love Awkward Mom’s video and glad it worked for her.
Nothing like a weekend Ariel video! 🥰🌹❤️
I did try but I'm an owl and I just lost my motivations 😢
I'm so happy you're willing to touch on the topic of reading your Bible in the morning 😊
Sleep early/wake up early, reading Bible and devotion time are the 3 main things I've been struggling with for a very long time.
But thanks for the suggestion 🙂
Last night was the first time I got into bed before 11pm without the phone in my hand, but a book. Even though I wasn't able to fall asleep until after 11:20pm, I woke up naturally before 5am. I've read the Bible again and even got time to do the dishes, in the morning!
Being a full time worker, with less than 6 hours sleep, not sure how will the rest of today be, but at least I've read my Bible again, 6 chapters in [feel like I'm playing catch up 🥴] 🙏🏼
This came at the perfect time! Thank you!
Man... I love your videos and this was no exception. So... so good. I wake up at 5 but i dont build in quiet. I will start!
Good morning, Ariel😀
I am new here🧑
I come from Poland✈
I've been watching you for a few days and I think I'm in love❣🤔
Thank you for your videos🙏
In a way, you changed my life🌈
I get up in the morning and clean my apartment🕔
Thanks to your tips, everything goes quickly and smoothly🧙
A wife like you is a treasure🥇
Sometimes your faces in movies scare me🧟♀but it's fun😁
I like how you tell your stories in movies👄
there is a family atmosphere👶👧🧔
I wish you all the best⭐
Kisses😘
Norah you are such a bright light in my comment section. Thanks for always making me smile and just for being here! ❤️
@@ThatAwkwardMom ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I agree. I really enjoy my quiet alone time in the morning when I get up at 5. Totally makes a difference in my day.
You are so genuine and sooooo funny! I'm definitely inspired by your videos!
I love your videos, your motivation, your honesty, your personality and you ❤ Thank you so much!!! 🎉❤🎉
The peace brought to us at 5 am is incredible! Its been hard for me to do it nowadays cause ive been sleeping in however, getting ready to start again! Loved ur channel! Ur so funny lol
I LOVE it that you and Marissa did this. THANK YOU! :)
My days are always much harder when I wake up the same time as my daughter. Having that quiet time alone first thing in the morning is amazing. Gives me some time to get myself together instead of immediately jump into mom mode, changing a diaper and having to feed a hungry baby while still trying to fully wake up myself.
Thank you for making me laugh 🤣 I haven’t slept for two nights cause my baby is sick, loved this!
Your videos are such a vibe, I'm obsessed with them. I've struggled with the early wake-ups for a long time, but I might try this is two weeks is how long it takes to adapt!
I love that it's been so beneficial for you!
Funny, realistic, and great advice! Thanks for this video! 😊
This was the logical next step after trying all of the cleaning routines! I knew you could do it!
I'm so glad you shared this! I'm going to try this. I LOVE your channel! 💖🌹🙏🥰
This story was so well told!
I am rolling here !!! You are hilarious girl, loved the table dance, 😂😂😂.
Cat wiping tears was THE BEST! I LOVE YOUR COMEDIC TALENT! (Sorry not gonna give up watching YOU in morning) LOL
One of your best videos yet! Fantastic. 🎉
Love this collab! I follow both of you on YT, so this was fun to see :)
Wow! Ariel! I'm going to have to try this again, intentionally. Thanks!
You give a FUN account of this, and I especially like the part about reading your Bible. Great idea to get up early!
I am such a fan! You totally inspire me and motivate. What a calling you have! Working on me with your help..Thank you so much.
What a match you two! Thank you for the valuable input! Greetings from Switzerland 🇨🇭
I really enjoy how real you are in your videos. It makes me actually trust you when you promote something as atrocious as waking up early! I have a baby and 2 older kids, who are all unfortunately early risers. I might actually try this!
Hahaha love this comment. Let me know how it goes!

You’re so funny AND talented AND amazing. Proud of you
Congrats on finding the secret to a good day! Once I figured out that good early morning routine, I never looked back! 💖
