Agree. Just to add to it: Brännvin in direct translation is "burning wine", the only kind of english equivalent I can think of is "fire water". Brännvin and "vodka" is often mixed up but originally they were made with different sources of starch (vodka often uses potatos while brännvin uses rye). However the lines were kind of blurred. In fact the brand "Absolute Vodka" uses rye, hence it could be argued that it is "brännvin" and not "vodka" and if I am informed correctly there were several different recepies of vodka where some used rye as well. So I guess you could call brännvin for vodka if you want. Modern swedish moonshine (hembrännt) on the other hand uses mostly refined suger as a source of starch. It is (today) cheaper and makes it easier to get higher alcohol levels but it also misses some taste compared to other sources of starch.

Brännvin is not the same as moonshine. Hembränt is moonshine. From wiki: "Brännvin is the Swedish term for liquor distilled from potatoes, grain, or wood cellulose. It can be plain and colourless, or flavoured with herbs and spices. The term includes vodka and akvavit, but akvavit is always flavored"
Never really got the thing about this guy but I know he's a legend to some. YES to the next one! There's a banger, if you ever heard one! Then you should also check out the song "Kärleken är" by Jill Johnson and tell us if Jill stole the victory of the 1998 Melodifestivalen from Nanne! I thought so back then anyway. Looking forward to that!
Very creative guy, but I wouldn't call him a great musician, no matter I actually could sing and play guitar. John Norum, famous as guitar player in Europe, used to play the guitar at Eddies records back in the days.

Thanks
@@JonathanRollinssthlm305 You’re welcome! Oh, and please do Living in America with the Sounds. 100% Swedish, despite the name. 😉
Can u listen to” i dont belivie in love no more ” or ”autum rain” or like ”när man drömmer sina drömmar” by Eddie Meduza
MoonShine is Hembränt in Swedish.
He sings about Sweden 1982, this is what it loked alike with socialdemkratern. A silly country whos best in the world for most things.
Disagree!
Very creative guy, but I wouldn't call him a great musician, no matter I actually could sing and play guitar. John Norum, famous as guitar player in Europe, used to play the guitar at Eddies records back in the days.
Jealous does mean Svartsjuk. The best translation for Avundsjuk would be Envious
Thanks for the breakdown!
Håll mitt hjärta. Björn Skifs
Eddie M - ragga runt
Is recommended.
Its not about moonshine.. more like absolut , but cheaper.. u can search brännvin..
Epic
MERA BRÄNNVIN! Torsten Bengtsson!
Raggarna favorit.
Mera brännvin = more Moonshine 🥃🥴
you should have done this clip in a "raggarbil"
Do runke ball. Its the best one
Not sure about this song being a well known mainstream “swedish classic” - but maybe a classic among “raggare”? 🙃 But most Swedes ofc know about the name Eddie Meduza but without knowing his songs in particular. 🥰
Do ”heja usa” by eddie. And translate the lyrics so u understand everything!!:)
It isnt moonshine, it's vodka, if he wanted to sing about moonshine/hembränt, he vould have done that.
Moonshine = hembränt
Brännvin = Akvavit, Scandinavian vodka
If you want a real swedish ckassic to react too, i'll give you one. "Sommarnatt" med Snowstorm
I did this one live on one of the Tuesday Night Hang sessions
Du är ju för skön... :-)

Svartsjuk is when you lower your standards to not trust your partner to not even look at other people or so...
One of his least seriosity namene Was he even Called himself E.Hitler, this was so bad that he's company not wont giv it out!
